- The Battle of Koronowo took place on October 10, 1410, shortly after the great Polish-Lithuanian victory at Grunwald. It was a clash between Polish troops led by Sędziwoj Ostroróg and Piotr Niedźwiedzki with the forces of the Teutonic Order, who were trying to regain their lost positions. The Poles won a decisive victory, which prevented the Teutonic Knights from further offensive operations in this campaign. The Battle of Koronowo strengthened Poland's position in the war with the Teutonic Knights and contributed to the Toruń Peace in 1411, which was beneficial for the Kingdom of Poland.
