I'm freaking out a little bit because everything you have said about Kyle is what I have been saying with me and my friends, months before this video came out. I said that this move is spammable, has invincibility frames, and is nearly impossible to avoid. Hell, I even said Kyle is the best character in the game, but Sheen counters it. However, I did not know if you block it you take the same amount of damage for when you don't block it, that's news to me. Everytime I saw a Super Brawl 2 tier list, I got really upset because Kyle was so low. Thank you for doing the boy justice.
When the game first came out I was playing mainly Monkey and Chum Chum. My brother would main Skipper and spam his special which made me think he was the best in the game. Sheen was nerfed, in super fall brawl he was so overpowered and impossible to beat, they had to remove him, and then later in super brawl 2, they made his headbutt not do a quarter of your health
I remember having trouble fighting Patrick because he kept spamming his towel move on me. Back then it was frustrating but looking at it now it was hilariou.

Holy shish I'm glad to know it's not just me who realized how uncanny Jimmy a ts in this game, keeping the same face 24/7, using punches and kicks with rubber band arms, did the animators know anything about Jimmy at all?
To reassure you up a bit, I found out that KJ actually hard counters Plankton. Due to the fact that the latter is a grappler with a big hitbox that will keep trying to get in your face all the time, you can just keep spamming Mort and he'll hardly ever be able to approach you. Hell, it even shuts down Plankton's special if your timing is right. It also applies slightly to Tuff Puppy and Dr Blowhole just due to the fact how large Blowhole's hitbox is and that you can with proper practice stop Puppy from performing his special as well. Still, Plankton matchup takes the cake.
Hey man, I know this video is old, but thanks for giving this game recognition. The thing about this game is that I never played it. I only saw it when I was a kid when I was surprised that SpongeBob was dressed like Ryu. I play this game now and I’m having a lot of fun with it! one low tier character I like to play is Kitty Katswell. I feel like she’s a decent character who COULD be a challenge as long as she doesn’t use blaster. I like the dive kick and I like how you can bring your opponent to a corner and trap them into super. but alas, my favorite character in this game is classic SpongeBob. I just love how Nickelodeon made his gameplay inspired by Ryu and I like how he plays in general also, I can’t be the only one who thinks classic SpongeBob is broken in the older games he could do his punch move into an infinite, making him an easy player to pick up. I kinda disagree with your placement with Otis putting him D tier, I played with Otis on survival mode and HE WAS ABSOLUTELY BROKEN, his punches are spammable and fast, his kick and air kick are good, his special is really good, even without distance, his super is Incredible as well Attack: 10/10 Kick: 7/10 Air Kick: 7/10 Special: 9/10 Super: 10/10 Overall, he should be in S or God tier. I remember I use to play this on the nickelodeon website. I use to use sandy as my 1st main to fight all the characters at once along with monkey from monkey quest as my 2nd main.
For Skipper. It's the only character where the CPU is completely aware that he has an infinite which is his special and will spam it the second they use it.
The great thing about this video is that since not a lot of people have played this game there won't be any controversy over picks like in other tier list videos lol
I'd put Classic SpongeBob a bit higher. His special isn't as fast as Monkey's or Chum Chum's, but it's still insanely fast and can be spammed against most of the cast.
I remember always playing Fanboy and Chum Chum (Kyle too, but not as much) just because I liked the show. Can't believe they're THAT high on the tier list.
Funny story: Kyle was my childhood crush, so not counting the time before he was unlocked, I don't remember a time where I WASN'T playing as Kyle! So color me surprised when I saw him at the very top of the tier! This would've made 11-14 year-old me proud!
I pretty sure that Kyle has an infinite in his ground kick but is not safe on block like monkey's. I've expermented this on multiple characters for hours and they all get stuck. Even if I'm proven wrong he still got some footsies.
It's really weird to think there were games where you could have had Spongebob literally fighting Skipper. That's something that would never happen today
I don't think that would ever happen because flash is dead it would be hard for them to modify the game to include online and balance the game also nick doesn't really care about there website no more they been pushing the app instead for example if you go to the U.S website you can't even play games on it anymore instead they tell you to go download the mobile apps you can only play the games on the UK and Australia websites so no I do not think they will ever bring back super brawl 2 the best hope for the game is if fans bring the game back with online and balancing

I would agree with all of these but Korra, believe it or not-- I dont remember Sokka ever being in the nick brawl series so I wouldve loved to see him there for atla
Another thing with King: if you have a character with a background character (Fanboy or Chum Chum) and they and you choose either of the first, Julien will LOSE his super and special making his the absolutely worst character
Imagine Super Brawl Tournament Edition with all the brawl characters from the whole series + some newcomers if the fans can put them in + this is one of the greatest videos ever
Maybe add some new stages, would like to see Kowalski and Private as playable characters
I just finished a tournament in Super Brawl 2 using Kyle and my last three opponents were Sheen, Monkey and Skipper. And let me say that when you said he was the best character, you weren't whistling dixie.

I kinda disagree with your placement with Otis putting him D tier, I played with Otis on survival mode and HE WAS ABSOLUTELY BROKEN, his punches are spammable and fast, his kick and air kick are good, his special is really good, even without distance, his super is Incredible as well

Air Kick: 7/10
Special: 9/10
Super: 10/10
Overall, he should be in S or God tier. (In my opinion)

I remember I use to play this on the nickelodeon website. I use to use sandy as my 1st main to fight all the characters at once along with monkey from monkey quest as my 2nd main.

But, if you played this game, you always knew that Karate Spongebob was way better than Basic Spongebob.
For Skipper. It's the only character where the CPU is completely aware that he has an infinite which is his special and will spam it the second they use it.
Every time I had to play against Otis or Skipper in Tournament mode, all I could do was survive...accept mortality

I'd put Classic SpongeBob a bit higher. His special isn't as fast as Monkey's or Chum Chum's, but it's still insanely fast and can be spammed against most of the cast.

I remember always playing Fanboy and Chum Chum (Kyle too, but not as much) just because I liked the show. Can't believe they're THAT high on the tier list.
I remember this being hella fun
Funny story: Kyle was my childhood crush, so not counting the time before he was unlocked, I don't remember a time where I WASN'T playing as Kyle! So color me surprised when I saw him at the very top of the tier! This would've made 11-14 year-old me proud!

I pretty sure that Kyle has an infinite in his ground kick but is not safe on block like monkey's. I've expermented this on multiple characters for hours and they all get stuck. Even if I'm proven wrong he still got some footsies.

I don't think that would ever happen because flash is dead it would be hard for them to modify the game to include online and balance the game also nick doesn't really care about there website no more they been pushing the app instead for example if you go to the U.S website you can't even play games on it anymore instead they tell you to go download the mobile apps you can only play the games on the UK and Australia websites so no I do not think they will ever bring back super brawl 2 the best hope for the game is if fans bring the game back with online and balancing
