Oh my gosh byron! I can't believe you came to maine! I have lived in Maine, just 20 minutes from Portland my whole life! So happy to see this! I think maine goes highly unnoticed!
Byron I have been watching your channels and your wife's channels for along time now and I think what your cook and the recipes you show us are AMAZING!! So with that being said I think that you would do absolutely awesome on Master Chef. I would love to see you and so many would love to see you try out for that show!!!
Moving back it Maine, after being in Los Angeles for 22-years, cannot wait for my "traditional" lobster roll! No onion, nooooooo! Mayo, salt, pepper, toasted top split roll,,thank you for this video!! Cannot wait to try both places mentioned!!
looks tastey would love to try it but the first half of the video did it best, Less is better and keep it the same with the traditional lobster roll, Great vid and yeah i have Spent half of my ol life in Maine on the down east coast! Cheers
I'm a Maine lobsterman and I love that your promoting lobster....I see two problems though....First, you cooked your lobster with the rubber bands on (taints the flavor of with lobster with rubber)....Second, you left the black (poop) strip in the tail (which is just plain gross)....Check out my scrambled eggs and lobster on my channel.
I think the style of the recipe would work for crab or shrimp just as easily. Well, for pretty much any kind of white meat really. But if you're trying to stay Somewhat authentic, likely you have to have Some kind of shell fish and/or seafood in it.
It would be perfect with JUST LOBSTER. You get ripped off when you get a cold lobster roll vs. a warm one since the vegetables are taking up space that could be filled with LOBSTER.
Looks absolutely delicious...almost as good as the chef himself.. ;) Ok but in all seriousness, I'm totally craving a lobster roll right now..dammit. :(
This sounds good, except for the mayo. I've always found it overpowering, plus it just tastes like rotten ass. If I ever try this, I'd probably just use a little bit of cider vinegar, or just skip it entirely.
We DARE you not salivate while watching this Lobster Roll video - and you might even learn a thing or two!

I'm usually not a fan of seafood, but Byron's making me change my mind.....All of the dishes he's made on this show look amazing!

I would recommend skipping the celery and using celery salt instead. Something like Lawry's Seasoning salt works well.
Its weird that they have a Portland in maine as well as a Portland in Oregon. I wonder which was first built.

What if I lived in a desert...
Would I still need frozen?
Subbed just for him!
The musical beat of this video sounds like Third Eye Blind's New Girl (about a minute into the song).
I made this recipe modified slightly (I used krab not lobster). Not a honorable substitute but it sure is tasty.
Yum!

It would be perfect with JUST LOBSTER. You get ripped off when you get a cold lobster roll vs. a warm one since the vegetables are taking up space that could be filled with LOBSTER.

Looks organismic and $10 dollars a pop.
Wait was that $13,95 for a lobster roll or was that for 6? Both seem a little odd.. though lobster is expensive as fuck
