It will only get worse, China is closing itself off and without training in European leagues, they'll never reach the level needed to win.

To build a strong system it takes atleast 30 years minimum.. coaching at a youth level is instrumental and has to be done country wide . ..you may only get a team that is great every 10 to 15 years
    That's my 2 cents

The issue is not with property, but with the system. For example, in most countries, football is encouraged and played from an early age. Being from England, I played for my junior school at the age of 9-10. There are additional grass roots football as well as footballing academies. My comorehensive school had inter-house football tournaments. Furthermore, playing football is easy as there are many full-sized football pitches, 5-aside pitches, and 7-aside pitches. Many companies form football teams or play socially after hours.
If it was related to property, as this speaker stated, then China would have been a footballing powerhouse years ago before the economic problems. In addition, property doesn't play football - people do. For instance, what is Brazil's excuse?
The main problem is that individual competitiveness (academic and sports) is aggressively pushed onto youths who have no choice but to constantly compete. Hence why badminton, ping-pong, as well as other individual sports do quite well. Team sports, where collaboration is required, along with a huge lack in facilities, opportunities and an overworked populace is the primary reason. Based on the aforementioned, Chinese people may feel frustrated and upset at this defeat, but their criticisms are misplaced. To expect anything else than a severe thrashing from a team made up of players who compete at the highest level is idiotic at best.

According to my friends from China, the issue with China's football is that this sport attracts a lot of money from the mega corp. Sometimes, when you have too much of capital, corruption and incompetence set in. A complete revamp of the whole system is needed if China wants to see any progress.

Inner Mongolia, Uyghur, Tibet, Manchu people were not Chinese in the old days. Outside the Great Wall China.
Japanese/Ryukyuan language is an SOV language. However, Chinese is basically SVO. While some Japanese/Okinawans have thick Arm hair, Chest hair and Facial hair, the majority of Chinese have thin body hair. One in fifteen Japanese/Okinawans have naturally curly hair, but few Chinese have naturally curly hair.

The online communities in Korea are actively cheering for russia after this news got out.
Ukraine's ambassador to Japan pays homage to Yasukuni Shrine. Now you know which side Ukraine is on.
Sergi Korsensky, the Ukrainian ambassador to Japan, visited the Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo, where Class A war criminals from the Pacific War were enshrined.
The Ukrainian Embassy in Japan wrote on its X account on the 3rd, "On September 3, Ambassador Sergi Korsensky paid tribute to the Yasukuni Shrine and mourned those who lost their lives for their country."
Just more proof as to how Ukraine views people of Asian descent if the past 3 years haven't been enough to prove that yet.
