It is so nice to have a good Chinese translator for once. I swear 90% of the time the Chinese translator hardly even speaks English. A good translator really lets you relate with the fighters a lot more.

She looked like a world-beater in that fight. There's no style I enjoy more than a composed, relaxed counter-striker. I hope she can remain consistent.

I'm a fan of Jessica, she's game, doesn't duck a challenge, has an entertaining fighting style, and seems like a genuinely kind-hearted person. That said, I wonder if her team has done anything to correct her mistakes, particularly when fighting Chinese straw weights, heh.
She should have won against Marina Rodriguez to be honest and its gonna be a banger vs Wei Li. I still think We Li's wrestling and sheer strength will edge it for her but i can see Yan using distance and winning on points or even catching her - although Wei Li is very disciplined now from her Rose fights unlike before.

I was so happy for Yan Xiaonan getting a 1st round ko of the ko queen Jessica Andrade you can see how much it ment to her after such a big win. And 100% the 2 best strawweights on the planet atm are the 2 chinease snipers Walli an Yan. I don't understand how the chinease fans give Yan hate it's not like the chinease have produced ufc champions every few years so they should be cheering for both women because no matter what after the fight there will be a chinease ufc strawweight champion and a chinease no 1 strawweight contender. Imo Walli is more explosive and she is The faster out of the 2 but I'm still picking Yan to win because her fight IQ she's the better more technical striker she's aggressive and has a big gas tank but the scary thing is Yan looks better with every fight...

You should check female fighters like Zhang Weili, Jessica Andrade, Valentina Schevchenko, Amanda Nunes. And some new great prospects like Marina Rodrigues, Amanda Lemos, and Mackenzie Dern for her amazing BJJ.
Yan is right most of the Chinese fans are haters. They even turned on Weili when she lost to Rose.
