The rescue team is way undersized. Fighting ability is around 1 robot: 1.5 freaks. The robots are consumed too soon.
The rescue team all died, but the mission was still accomplished. The kitten survived.
Those were some pretty crappy robots. They looked like they were gonna be tough, but they were weaker than flat root beer.

It can not be understood the ending of the battle. . . What is happened in the end? Why did those freaks cease their assault? Suddenly the assault was ceased. Rescue robo-army was stopped by those freaks at the golden monument. The number of those freaks is yet great. Why?
At the end of the battle, there was one freak left. The freak was stuck in the terrain and couldn't move. About 50 seconds after the video was uploaded, a robot rescue team that escaped from the terrain rushed to kill the freak. I edited that 50-second silence scene. because I thought no one would want to see it. But when I saw your comment, I misunderstood.

Yes. It's a crab that grabs into your head and force you to do hideous acts while your body slowly rotts away.
I've never played Half-Life, but I guess yes.

@@davhot4107, yes! Their crab is bigger. For the hat, I remember they first appear when you are trying to help Father Grigori, but you see them completely when you are at the shopping mall parking lot.
Only one regular "zombie" appears, but then, they came everywhere. Or you fire the .12 Shotgun straight into their heads, or you are done. That phase was the definition of a nightmare when I first played with my ex GF.
Worse than that are the Crab Combines.
