And when I would tell them that I was a local, I would get the follow up where are you really from? When you told that man that you were from Los Angeles that should have been the end of that. I think you did the right thing by letting him know you had directions to knock on the door..etc. You are professional and kind. The BEST!!!!
Always trust your instincts Jom! That guy was definitely a weirdo and maybe drunk also! The amount of times I've heard the classic "yeah that's for me" line and it turns out they're lying is shocking. I always keep walking to the door no matter what and knock also, if it's actually the person they will either take their phone out already or have the keys to the door and I just explain how many times I've had random people take the customers food and I can't get in trouble again and thank them for their order and wish them a good night! Most people understand and have thanked me back or just walked away because I knocked on the door and they aren't getting free food 😁😁

Im doing well lately, things are a bit slow over the weekend but I was able to make good earnings overall. Hope youre doing well this past weekend!

Also you should get you a really good head lamp/flashlight that straps around your head. I have the energizer one it can shine up to 400 lumens.. The higher the lumens the brighter! Mine needs 3 AAA batteries so i bought some rechargeable batteries. They sale headlamps with usb c port chargable without the need for AAA or AA batteries. The light helps ALOT in dark areas.
