- What's ROBLOX?
Roblox advertises itself as an ‘Imagination Platform’ that allows its users to develop or play millions of 3D online games. It was launched in 2006, and has 64 million players every month, with an estimated total 178 million + accounts on the platform. It is available to download as an app on both Android and Ios and is listed as 12+ with Parental Guidance advised. Users can also play the game on tablets, PC, XBox One or Amazon devices.
- What's BEAR (Alpha)?
BEAR (Alpha) is a multiplayer survival horror game published on Roblox, created and released on May 21st, 2019. Published by Cheedaman, as well as developed by Croutonium, biscuitpuff01, PapaDoomsday, macabreroses, and DaDominator630.
In BEAR (Alpha), the game requires at least 2-10 players in order for the round to start. When a round starts, the game chooses which role the player will have depending on their Bear Chance. The player can either be selected as a survivor, or as a Bear:
As a survivor, the player must traverse the map to complete puzzles in order to decrease the timer. While doing so, survivor(s) must avoid Bear.
As Bear, the player must traverse the map to find and kill survivor(s), before the round ends.
