Honestly, Dark Enchantress Cookie didn’t have bad intentions in the beginning, I mean her care and worry for Red Velvet seemed genuine. Maybe there’s still some White Lily Cookie left in her.
Dark Enchantress reminds me of Stain from My Hero Academia. They have eye-opening realizations of how corrupt the world is along with similar end goals, but act on their overwhelming feelings of betrayal and anger in the worst way possible. Stain through the murder of innocent people as rebellion to how members of hero society prioritize those of a higher status, and Dark Enchantress through seeing the witches eat her cookie brethren in front of her two eyes and developing the idea of how cookies should succumb to the darkness for survival; to liberate non-cookies, who are painted as monsters by cookiekind, and give them a better society to live in than the one currently established; to bring fear into those evil witches by whatever means necessary.

She then left the Cathedral and if anyone has gacha'd her or got her with soulstones. Another theory. She came to your kingdom to try and froget what happend. She tries to get over it, she still presumebly still visits the cathedral but. She still is wondering. Wondering about the Past.

Also, she probably doesn't sleep well, since it's said that she has a bad time waking up in the morning. And probably wasn't fed very well, since one of her lines is "A piece of bread and some milk is more than enough." Why would she ever think that?

They're excellent foils of one another, each one manipulated in a different way with different intent. Both of them serve things that are truly awful now, but believe in what they fight for. It just so happens Red Velvet has a far more tangible grounding in his cause, being half-cake himself and still offering his enemy kindness.

Pastry's story reminds me of Darkest Dungeon lore. Where the character(s) served the god (in dd case, ancestor) to eliminate the 'evil', only to be revealed that the god they served are the true evil at the end

I’m a new player to this game and did *not* expect there to be deep lore.
Also the voice acting was pretty pog, I felt like I was pulled into the lore too
This whole religion of the Pastry Order gives me vibes of “If no one was there when it happened, no one will question of our creators are of the righteous or evil”. Therefore being able to denounce anyone who isn’t of the cutter but of the tin.
I didn’t even think about it back then, but now that I’ve returned to the game, I realize the St. Pastry Order is a straight up cult 💀

1. Is Pastry Cookie aware that the armless cookie she saw was Red Velvet Cookie?
2. What did Pastry Cookie do before being "rebaked" as it has been mentioned in her description?
3. Could the costume Pastry Cookie had could/might be a foreshadow?
4. Why does Reverned Mother act so calm and nonchalant when Shadow Sister Cookie wanted to kill Pastry Cookie when she started to have doubts of who are they exaclty worshipping or something?
5. What are Shadow Sister's intentions on Pastry Cookie, and was she already aware that Pastry Cookie would start to have doubts and question of who they really are?

But you can’t really blame Pastry though, she was tricked and manipulated by reverend mother, getting led into the wrong direction.
They're excellent foils of one another, each one manipulated in a different way with different intent.
Both of them serve things that are truly awful now, but believe in what they fight for.
It just so happens Red Velvet has a far more tangible grounding in his cause, being half-cake himself and still offering his enemy kindness.
