****Hi everyone! I just wanted to leave a comment to any feature viewers.* The heads can be removed from the bodies. Which oddly enough I didn't realize at the time! I'm very sorry about that! *This was filmed a while back and since then I have had more fun adventures with unboxing/working with these ob11/bjd/ Chinese Art types of small dolls. In these adventures I have learned much more about the bodies of these dolls (though I still have more to learn I'm sure) and how to customize (replace some parts) and also how to more easily put on clothes (which I was oblivious to in this video, my apologies!). This was my first video working with these types of dolls so I was a total newbie (though I am still a newbie LOL, just with a little more knowledge then before 😉). If you are interested, the video where I show season 2 of these MayTree constellation dolls shows kind of the break down of the articulation and showing the inside of head, ect, if you want to find out more about the articulation of these dolls, I show more there then I do here. The bodies in season 2 are the same as in season 1. I really appreciate everyone in the previous comments letting me know more about these types of dolls and helping me with the snags I thought I came across in the video. I really appreciate all of you and everyone being so kind about my inexperience and my lack of knowledge with these types off dolls. 🥰 I love the doll community, everyone is so helpful and kind! if these are like the other bjd blind box dolls, you should be able to separate the face form the back of the head to put on neckalces and other clothes pieces etc. I haven't seen these ones yet they're really cute!!

That is really helpfull to know and point out!! 😊 The Crab one is actually a bag, they just had it shown really weird on the card where I thought it was a necklace, I realized it wasn't a necklace after I looked closely. On the online promos, they have it as a crossbody bag and it's a lot easier to tell that it is, when you follow the bead lines. Taking off the back of head would probably be useful to achieve that cross body bag look! So thank you for letting me know!! They are cute! I'm really excited for series 2, I found a few pictures of some of the dolls in series 2, they are sooo pretty!
@@doll_cure yeah I saw that you said it was a crossbody bag in the video and kept trying to see if there was a seamline to separate the heads but I couldn't tell LOL but all of the tiny bjd ones I have you could so I assumed these ones did too? Hopefully?! I'm a sucker for the star signs as characters so I am so interested in these ones!!!
@asche9115 You are right! The instructions said you could take off the back of the head to switch out the eyes. I just didn't put two and two together at the time.🤣🤣 I feel pretty silly about forgetting that haha, but now I'll know for next time! Thanks again for letting me know! 😊
Nice review. They're cute and kind of unique for blind box bjds because of their hair, and the outfits look so detailed. It looks like they aren't strung dolls either which is a plus to me. Sometimes you have to remove a bjd's head to dress it, so I wonder if the heads on these can be taken apart so that you can get the little crab purse on. I'll be on the look out for those obitsu 11cm stands too. Chibi dolls are so top heavy I usually have to sit them with their heads tilted down for balance.
I really like their hair! It's such a cute touch. I just saw a comment talking about taking off the back of the head as well. Thank you for mentioning that, I appreciate it!! That method is probably how they achieved the cross body bag look in the promos. They even showed that you could remove the back of the head too on the instruction card! It really just slipped my mind. I just didn't put two and two together, my bad!!! 🤣 It's interesting because some online pictures showed the Sagittarius's hair on in a different angle, I tried that and it did help her sit a bit better! The promos and as it came in the package, had her hair on normal so I didn't think to try it at first. Really interesting!
I don't know if anyone's told you this and I'm only halfway through the video, but to put the bag on, you have to take off the head. You can look up how to do this. Have fun! 💜
Ah yes, I was a newbie to ob11 size/bjd then hahaha. I'd say I technically still am too but just with a little more experience 🤣. I have done more unboxings as well as the 2nd season of this constellation series since (the 2nd season dolls are so lovely!!). A few people in the comments also already told me, but thank you I really appreciate the help and you kindly letting me know! 😁 ❤️
Are these strung with elastic? Ive seen people opening them but they look like theyre hinge jointed like fashion dolls? If so its kinda messed up the company uses the term "bjd" because thats going to be disappointing for people who want a more traditional bjd experience. Swapping parts and customizing us much more limited if the doll isnt strung.
They are not strung with elastic. I'm sorry!! A lot of the individual sellers on AliExpress listings said BJD but I can't remember if the company themselves actually said it on the translated instructions or anything, so maybe they used a different term originally? I actually prefer this type of body myself but I could totally understand wanting more customization options and how it would be disappointing if you bought it expecting the doll to be strung with elastic! Yes, I found out after thanks to previous comments! I believe it is the back of head that comes off, you can also switch out the eyes! I want to try swapping out the eyes one day , might be really cute!
I am not a fan of the plastic hair either. I actually ordered some small ob11 size doll wigs for them and they look so cute with actual 'brushable' hair! 🥰

Just sew what came off, and put the 🦀 bag in, disassembling the head and that's it.
