- G'day folks. I'm following on in the same spot as last week, metal detecing around dangerous old shafts and other gold rush workings. The Minelab Manticore finds some interesting signals this week.

Thanks for hunting out my TH-cam channel.
My name is Andrew, so why do they call me The Coffee Bush Kid? I may have found the odd gold coin or two in the middle of the coffee bush where others fear to tread.
Metal detecting in Central Victoria, Australia. Goldfields relics, treasures, and the odd Aussie critter.

Thanks Paula. Glad you enjoyed it 😁👍
Tell ya what brother i injoyed that all ways keep digging spones that last thing is it off a horse
Gday brother Tezza. Thanks for watching mate. Don’t think I will ever stop digging 🦘🦘😁👍
Nice Naval theme buttons Andrew. A nice word of advice about the danger of mine shafts out on the field .👍
Gday Warren. Don’t mind the navy buttons. It was a bit of a shock to find that hole. Make a dunny out of that one. It was a long drop 🤣🤣. Take care mate 😁👍
Looks like a great day out - some interesting finds
Gday Guy. Good spot. Bit thin in the ground now though 🤣🤣😁👍
Hi Andrew, nice little hunt mate, navy buttons, thimble, harmonica reed and partyfacts, good advice about watching your footing and not falling down holes lol, take care my friend. ATB Bill and Julie X, say hi to Viv too 👍😊❤
Gday Bill and Julie. It was a good hunt. Nice to get two different navel buttons. Sometimes you get a bit of a shock when you see a hole in the ground that wasn’t there before and you know you have walked over that spot before. Hope you two are well. Take care🦘🦘😁👍❤️
Several hundred kilometers from the sea, and what do you find, naval buttons! I would say there ship was blown of coarse a tad! How perfect was the break on the Bendigo Label, tag, badge, thing, Thats a great find!... A spoon to eat your tucker with, A knife to cut your meat, A clock to get you out of bed, and stand you on your feet, A buckle to hold your pants up, so you stay within your clothes, A thimble to sow up the bag, that carry's all your gold, The ruler im not sure of, it had its jobs I guess, A harp to play at the end of day, before you go to rest. Great being out with you again Andrew, Cheers Mate!
Gday Wayne. Always great to take you out with me. Who wouldn’t want to take out a poet with them. That was great mate. Hope you are travelling well. Take care mate 😁👍
@@TheCoffeeBushKid Im doing OK and hope you are the same, Thanks Andrew, Hooroo!
Howdy Wayne, That's an amazing little poem. Good job on putting all the finds together. Very clever. Your buddy, Roelf
@@roelf8653G'day Roelf, and thanks! ive meant to say G'day to you a few time's, just never did, we seem to frequent some of the same sights, Your probably waiting on DFM like I am, Im no poet, I just saw a bit of a story there, and thats just the way I wrote it. Cheers Mate, all the best!

Buttons... gotta love 'em
You do indeed 😁😁👍
More interesting goldfield bits and pieces Andrew.Anchor buttons are a nice find.I didn't see any red numbers,so you may not have updated yet at the time of filming.Just updated mine, but haven't had a chance to see what it does yet.Soon hopefully,as detecting time is hard to come by often for me. Cheers mate and all the best.
Gday cobber. Very happy with the buttons. I have done the update now but not when I was filming. I like the big red numbers. Just another piece of information to use. At the end of the day though, when in doubt, dig it out. Take care mate 😁👍
Thank you might need a new shovel handle to mate that one's got a big split going up it love your video
Good stuff Andrew, another fine day out in the Aussie bush, I guess a naval officer must have lived in the area at some time. Always interesting finds, cheers mate
Gday Pete. The navel buttons aren’t an uncommon find on the goldfields. Great to get one and I got two. Thanks for watching. Take care mate 👍😁
Nice video and marvelous finds, I never went yet to detect to field or forest, I have to go. Suscribed to your channel waiting for more videos and learn from you, Regards from Argentina
Hey Andrew :) bit of a long time no comment 😂😂😂 been kinda busy and dropped off the TH-cam map for a while. Some nice relics , anchor buttons are always a good find 😄👍🏼
Gday William. Life can have a habit of doing that to us. Glad you are back out. The anchor buttons are always cool to find. Take care mate 👍😁
Nice buttons mate 😁👍⛏
Yes they were a couple of beauties 😁👍
Nice work mate 👌
Thanks cobber. Hope you are well and finding some 😁👍
Very interesting.. in Sydney most bushland is located in national park , and I don't think there would be much to find anyhow. I am glad I have your videos to watch because been in a detecting funk for a while, can't seem to find or come up with any good new places to detect.
Thanks for watching BC. Glad it gets you along. Hopefully you get onto a great spot soon. All the best 😁👍
Sofala, Gulgong, Wattle Flat, Hill End, Wallaby Rock and the chinese diggings. If you are after gold, make sure you are not on mining leases, they can get prickelly if not asked first.
@@markstevenson3880 Thanks for those suggestions. I did take a trip to Sofala and Hill End recently actually. Just for one night though. Didn't detect in Sofala, but had a go in the designated prospecting area at Hill End and only found a few bits of rusty junk. My Nox 600 is not ideal for gold as I understand either. There were holes all over the place in Hill End, I guess the place has been done over by millions of detectorst over the years. Probably need to go off into the deep bush to have any luck, but I was worried about finding myself in the wrong area. Maybe another trip out there sometime in the future. For now the best I have is local suburban parks (and put up with the stares and comments from rich snobby locals) and beaches, neither of which are producing much for me anymore.
Hi. This is the first of your videos I’ve watched. I really enjoyed it.
Could the flattened square/rectangular thing with the two lines and a hole be from a paint brush? Ferrule?
Gday Tina. Glad you enjoyed watching the video. You may well be on the money with a ferrule. It has that ilk about it. Thanks for the comment and watching 😁👍
Hi Andrew is that gun shots i can hear when your talking about that open mine shaft
Certainly sounds like it ....yikes !!!!!
Yes you can. I mentioned I was near a rifle range 😁👍
@TheCoffeeBushKid LoL nps mate 🤣 when i was typing it an sent it not long after you said that
That button was very nice ...10:30 could be off a gate ...15:40 u weren't tempted to put it in gold mode around that old shaft ???
Gday Robert. The buttons are good. Wasn’t tempted to flick into gold mode. Waiting for the small coil for that and I can go back with the 6000. Thanks for watching 😁👍
@@TheCoffeeBushKid Ahh yes true, you have mentioned it. Still would have been interesting to try regardless ...
Hi Andrew, great bunch of find’s mate, you sure it’s a rifle range or could it be someone jumping on a claim 😂. No bloody wonder everyone is finding a ton of buck shot to the one speck of gold lol,
love those navel buttons too, take care mate ATB 👍
Gday Jim. There is a ton of ammo everywhere. Think those folk are keeping it on the range. Always like to find a navel button. Both different. You take care too mate 😁👍
That last target might be a shoe horn
It may well be Glenno😁👍
Fouled rope around anchor bendigo off a buggy or wagon
Cool. Thanks Trevor 😁👍
Sorry andrew wrong person
