Steve Carell's laugh is so contagious, I have to replay that part when he laughs after he gives Oscar the scarecrow so many times haha! And when he said "he has the lowest opinion of me of anybody" it made me realize how much Michael developed as a character. He used to be so worried about people liking him but in this scene he just didn't care.

@@Omnomnious I agree. The laughter is SO genuine! That was Steve Carell having a great time on his last starring episode. You can really feel the emotion there. It's also one of my favorite Michael Scott moments. "It Looks like it was made by a two years old monkey on a farm and he just accepted it!!!!" It makes me laugh so hard every time I see it.

The point is that in chile we talk with a very fast or accent in some sectors and that is why there is a Latin American joke that says that we are not understood, but the truth is only a very small sector. it's spanish and already :3 i speak it personally well, and if you understand your compatriots who don't speak very well, think you'll be able to understand any spanish. I like Michael and Oscar moments because I don't think he had the lowest opinion of him. Not in comparison to say Angela or Stanley. But, I liked that even though he shared everyone's misgivings about Michael, he seemed to be the only one who spoke to him in a serious and somewhat respectful manner even though he had to dumb it down a bit so Michael would understand what he was saying. But, he treated him like an actual boss instead of a joke. To me he was just as kind as Pam was.
Oscar has more patience than anyone ever in my opinion lol.

I always felt he didn't respect Michael the person but he respected the authority of Michael's position so was more restrained than Stanley.
oscar is definitely more respectful of authority and cares more about keeping the office running smoothly than anything. stanley and angela often create problems or scenarios which the others have to work around, whereas oscar keeps a low profile and adapts to the people around him. possibly because as kevin says he's one of the few employees with a life lmao

What I love about Oscar is that he doesn't have any real comedic dialogue, it's mostly common sense, or the voice of reason, BUT it's always delivered to perfection, especially when it follows one of Michael's mad ideas.

The best part about Oscar’s Lemonade stand analogy is that the speed to which he replies to Michael asking him to explain to it like he’s five implies one of two things:
1. Oscar is so used to Michael that he can just come up with something like that on the spot
2. Oscar understands Michael enough at that point that he already thought of that analogy walking in, knowing he would have to use it
