Stanstead airport has improved a lot since I and my mother and father flew from there to Alicante way back in the early 1960s and from Alicante by coach to La Manga
I really like STN! I find the structure so open, bright and spacious. However, the main terminal really is not big enough for the volume of passengers these days. I think an update/extension will be required very soon!
Thank you for your comment. Most airlines are quite happy for filming/photography providing it doesn't interfere with safety/security procedures, or involve crew without their consent. I have only flown on one airline who requested I stop filming.
I think the auto announcements definitely take away the human factor onboard, I also find when someone makes the announcement more people actually listen too!
@Jamie Vaughan I would give them a solid 7/10! They seem to be a good airline, however, they do have some hidden charges when booking, and on-board prices are some of the highest I've seen! Would recommend, but personally I prefer easyJet!
@@josephodonnell8982 In my experience, most LCC's are offering the same products at similar, if not the same price, which I have seen especially with airlines such as easyJet and Ryanair. Jet2 have a very clever pricing framework from the moment you book, such as airport check-in at an extra cost - ways to make additional revenue. Of course, I felt this was replicated onboard, price differences were subtle e.g. 20-50p differences compared to the competition.

I do like jet2 but the use of automated announcements makes it all impersonal. i like to hear the actual crew talk
