Please be careful. And even though, it might be pretty. Do not camp too close to water. Remember, everything comes there for a drink. And other things hunt there. Because they know everything, comes there to drink One other thing, trust yourself. If you start to get a funny feeling, do not ignore it. If you are in the tent. Please move to the jeep. Oh, also use your radio, to check up on the weather. Winter can be nasty. You do not need bad weather, sneaking up on you.
I've been "homeless" living in my van for five years. Yet, not once have I felt homeless. I am a traveler. You will be just fine. The problems you encounter traveling are much easier than the problems you encounter in "real life" To be free of it all...for always. You will get there girl you're heading in the right direction. Sending you out light and good vibes as you begin your journey 🌟 ~ Wolf
I did that for 6 months last year. Loved it but now taking a break. Love it, but I'm ready to get back out there. The one thing I did learn was to have a van to sleep in securely and use a tent for day use. My favorite is a tent that connects to my van. Love you lady, buy a 45 if possible or bear spray. Grrrrrr
Jeepsy you have had an impact on my self-confidence. Im recovering from a very dark time in my life. Im love to drive to places to see what is there. Thank you for being so bold and believing in your abilities to travel and enjoy the moments. Happy trails Sarah.🖤🖤🖤
You’ll do great! Can not wait follow along on y’all’s journey. As a proud dad of five little chihuahuas, I love to see other people that travel with their little dogs!
So happy to see Lil one gettin to be a free dog. Hope her mama finds all the peace and happiness that she needs.❤ Know that all of yer fans got your back if you need anything. Big Love ❤
Great to see you starting the adventure! I've lived out of my Explorer for the past 10 years .. although usually a week at a time or so. Never thought about going for months at a time. I did away with tents years ago (age 77) .. to hard on me .. so my 2001 Ford Explorer has been my mini RV. I stay away from other campers and campgrounds .. I've learned to boondock over the years .. you have the perfect rig to do that .. same size as my Ford actually .. and a lovely place to be in a huge thunderstorm. Same with roof top tents .. they are still tents. Take pointers from Wonder Hussy .. That Sara has a ton of great insight. My rig at the moment is a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek .. set it up exactly like the Ford .. works well and get's 32/34 mpg! Be excited! You are on an adventure! 🤠
Preparation is one of the most important things. Yet there are some things you cannot prepare for. But it sounds like you have your head together and know what you're doing, and are very well prepared. As well as determined. I remember an old saying, no guts no glory. 😊 I hope you look over your past Vlogs and videos, after a certain time like maybe a year or two. And see how much you have improved and changed. And the number of people you have met and friends you have made. That is a big part of the journey, in my mind. A journey of Discovery is discovering anything and everything. I realized this was five months ago oh, and I've seen other videos prior to this that are closer to today. But I'm trying to catch up on all of your videos. And I've already seen several changes, that are positive in your favor. And I continue to enjoy this and pray for you also.
You still don't have a spare tire ? I know you have a on-board air compressor for airing up/down but that's not going to help with a tire separating or sidewall damage. I don't want to jinx you or anything but you should be prepared for any situation. Don't forget a hi-lift jack , a very useful tool. Stay safe and have a great time wandering around.
Jeepsy when you come to West Virginia, there are hundreds of sparkly new micro campgrounds with full hookups that were set up for the Pipeliners when the big pipelines were being built thru here. They now sit barely used since the pipeline shutdown. Plus we have a state wide club called 304jeepers.
You're making a gutsy move taking life on the road at this time of year. Take care of yourself and your cute little dog, and keep a weather eye towards the sky. I've been watching your channel for quite awhile and I have an observation... you really should make yourself "to do" lists as you go through your busy days. Love you dear but you have a forgetful streak that could cause you trouble later on.
Hey jeepsie , I’m sure I saw your jeep at the Roland exit off of I40 at the Oklahoma Arkansas border back on October 13th ! My 13 year old grandson and I went jeep camping and hiking up in the Ozark mountains for a couple of nights! Great videos! Peace and happy trails!!
I think it would be a great experience. I think you'll really find yourself in the nature lifestyle. Good luck and all the best too you and the little one.
Glad to see you are doing well, and are on your way to a new adventure 🤗 crazy me worries about little animals too much as well, but I didn't know till a few years ago, that onions can make a dog deathly sick, so it is safer to assume that any amount of onion is potentially a risk, you may have known that, but I want little one around for a long time 🥰 stay safe and see you on your next upload 😊
You got this girl and you are in your "happy spot " Just be careful and keep the faith : ) Take a deep breath and enjoy your FREEDOM. Little one will protect you : )
Hi Sarah ! Looking forward to your journey of the soul. I too resonate & need nature to come alive. Stick & bricks and the routine life erode who we are, and going without picture media is a good choice to find you ! Love & Light to you & Lil ' One !
You will quickly learn the temperature range you can be comfortable in. That will dictate in which states you can hang out in after Nov 15. My guess is AZ, CA, southern NV, Southern NM, and southern Utah.
Have a wonderful journey ! We are all here for you and will look forward to all your videos along the way ! Stay safe and reach out if you need anything ! Hugs to Lil One !! ❤❤
Happy Adventure. I lived in a tent for three years. I found, I needed pallets under it, and a tarp cover, over the whole tent, for when it rains. I dug a little trench around the pallets and directed the water away from me. Have a Great time. I will be following. Really enjoy Your videos.
No sleeping bag I think you'll end up getting one and welcome to the clan been doing this a while I like the tent but it's going to be the ground you pick to set it up on every time that will make the difference and be careful about letting little one just run around there are wild critters out there have some bug candles or bug spray will help and some of it smells pretty good 😊👍✌️🐝
I've always enjoyed traveling and feeling free, i go on solo trips a lot, met some really amazing people, I've had some hard time's in my life and sometimes being out in nature is healing, you'll be just fine, if you need to take a break from life then you have to do what makes you happy, we are the only one's that can make our own selves happy, nobody can do it for you.. when i first started doing solo trips , i felt better being at campgrounds and just being someplace where there where humans to communicate with, after a few week's i felt much more confident enough now i can go anyplace to camp with nobody around.. i feel you already now you'll be just fine... hugs from wisconsin.. you got this..make sure with the space heater in the tent to keep your flaps open for ventilation for Carbon monoxide your little puppy will be the first to feel it unfortunately, plus get yourself a Carbon monoxide detector and keep it up off the floor so if there is ever an issue you'll be alerted...
OMG jeepsy I couldn't help but giggle, poor lil one. I could just see your face when u looked over and lil one wasn't there. I would of been in panic mode I think 😂
Nice setup. You will find it more economical to use a large refillable propane container and then make holders for them that attach to the outside of your Jeep. I think you’re going to have a blast. 👍🏻
I don't know much about other states, but Missouri has got ticks out the wazoo. Some are so tiny...they're little specks. Anyway, some are pretty nasty, and can make you pretty sick. So think about repellants...Walmart sells some pretty good stuff. It keeps mosquitoes away too. Some of those can get you sick too. Also, tell us where you've been...not where you're going next here on your channel. Tell trusted friends that stuff privately. Just commenting here in case you hadn't already thought of this stuff. Here's hoping you and Little One have a blast, Sarah. Much love, Darlin'.
You're not homeless, you're choosing this adventure! Also be mindful and hope you are packing, it wouldn't hurt to invest in one of those sound beacons to scare off a bear or cougar etc. Also dog backpack to put lil one in case you have to abandon ship. A locator beacon would be a great investment. Lastly I know you say 5 months, but there is no timeline if you feel it ends sooner then listen to that, your subs want you to be safe and trust your feelz. 🙂
It might just be my computer, but no other channel did this up and down thing with the brightness. When doing a sit n talk thing, perhaps turn off the auto-exposure controls on the camera. The exposure for this shot seemed to be right at a benchmark between exposure settings.
The heater in the tent, is that safe? I'm not up-to-date with the current portable inside heaters. I'm sure you've researched it, Jeepsy. Keep us posted on how your journey goes. You are awesome!
Cool story. Check out Scooter Tramp Scotty. He's been living on the road with a tent and motorcycle for decades. Nothing to fear but, fear itself. I've been working homeless by choice, for 6 years.
What a great tent, perfect, not being able stand up is what I don't like mine. Can't stand up for getting your self to go out. LoL . Being in the middle of nowhere is were nobody knows you and there's Sarah & lil one at the beginning of your mission to lead you to the answer you want. Road trips always give my mind a good reset especially when it's me and my dogo Archie Bunker. Go getem Sarah.
Suggestions, buy a Thermacell and extra units to keep the bugs off of you also buying and spraying Permethrin on almost everything but yourself and the dog. But it keep thing like spiders, ticks, fleas and other bugs at bay and is good for 4 months. But the Thermacell is wonderful I have used it when hunting, fishing, camping, watching my granddaughters play soccer. A TH-cam channel that talks about the Permethrin is the OutdoorGearReview.
I knew from the jump when I saw that look on your face just who you left behind 🐶😄❤ ! I hope you weren't scared by too many people sending you links to David Politis & his documentary Missing 411 ! It is intriguing and informative as to how questionable the park service system is as pertaining to missing persons ! I'm not going to lie to you , I really wish you'd take some form of "protection" with you . If that means comforting a fear and misgivings of "defensive weapon" , well then maybe that's just one more bridge to understanding and rebuilding yourself that has to be crossed . Cool side door build out for your grilling abilities ! We here in Vegas for the last week I've been blessed with some very nice weather and as soon as I get my money right with workman's comp , I might build out the Bebop in such a manner !
Funny, but I've been full time RVing since 2016 staying at various rv parks around the country since I retired. And my family thinks I'm living a life of hardship or something. Nothing like what you are doing. People need to respect someone's life choices especially when it doesn't negatively impact others, more power to ya!
Great video, I don't know your backstory or if you have shared it on your channel but what did you do in Vegas, did you work there? Please tell if you don't mind. Thanks
Be safe my friend I really enjoy your TH-cam channel there's something kooky going on with this video I can see like something right across the screen what is that it happens 5 minutes and 17 seconds and then a little ways further it happens again just wondering?
You look like you are a smart woman with Lll One to protect you.. You seem to be very wise in where to camp but be safe anyway. We all worry about you and want good adventures.
Thanks! Call if you need anything
Please be careful. I hope you know to travel with 2 friends: Mr. Smith & Mr. Wesson.
Heckler & Koch for me
Please be careful. And even though, it might be pretty. Do not camp too close to water. Remember, everything comes there for a drink. And other things hunt there. Always a couch expert on every video like this, lol.
Everything you said is common sense, even to a child

Take care Jeepsy and stay safe
Don’t you forget that little baby again! LOL! She’s adorable.
I’ve been doing the same thing but on public land, and a canvas tent. Canvas is great, but it’s heavy for sure.
I think we all will enjoy your checking in on your 5 months of discovery! Safe journey to you!
Stay safe, healthy and happy, have a wonderful adventure, from Henrico County Virginia
I could live in that tent all the time .Everything you do is what I like to do ,and I don't blame you for living in nature
So happy to see Lil one gettin to be a free dog. Hope her mama finds all the peace and happiness that she needs.❤
Know that all of yer fans got your back if you need anything. Big Love ❤
All she has to do, is send out the call !
I’m happy that you have thoughts things out and thought things through for your own safety.
Good luck on your & Lil One's travels. Can't wait to see your journey. 🐕⛺🌞
I have 2 tents. A family size from Ebay and a backpacker size I found on exit ramp.
Sarah your an absolute inspiration my day is always better when I see your notifications popping up. Stay safe, happy travels and keep well.

Be very careful with lil one, there are birds of pray that might take her. I like to suggest some type of fish net camouflage in camping area

I couldn't tell if u hav a tarp under your tent. A tarp protects the bottom of tent and is a moisture barrier.

I thought there was a mural painted on the tail gate of the jeep. Turns out it was just down
I need to do this so bad though I'd prefer not to do it alone!
Time 2:42 lil one - that is a cute picture -
