Morphine amazes me. When she first walked into the werkroom, I thought she was just another social media beauty queen that would be an early out. But she's not just the mug and the body, she's a SICKENING performer. The fact that she lipsynced 8 times this season and won 6 of them is incredible. And TBH even though she "lost" against Sapphira twice (once in the top 2 and once in the bottom 2), she still did amazing each time, and if it weren't for Sapphira's track record, a case could have been made for Morphine to win that second lipsync against Sapphira in the bottom 2.
Morphine's referring to Street Fighter, the game, when she talks about health: "I'm at 60% health. I'm at 30% health." Meaning her life/health bar. She wasn't sick. Also, Megami totally beat Amanda and Mhi'ya. She emoted the HELL out of those songs.
Chasity thinking Mhi'ya won vs Megami...what show did she watch? 😂 Also, no mention from both of them of the split simulation that Megami did: that was so original, so funny and proved once more how predictable is Mhi'ya. Finally, one last thought: is Mera always that "conservative"? She didn't like the "sniffing" thing Plasma and the "spitting" thing from Megami...like, gurl, isn't this kind of irreverence the thing that makes Drag Queens entertaining?

I mean, I've watched every single episode, from season 1 all the way to the latest All Stars, across countries, and even consumed all the related content on TH-cam channels like yours that I religiously watch. Now I know why. Yes, I'm drawn to this franchise because of the incredible stories of self-acceptance and celebration. Growing up in a very conservative and religious country, life wasn't easy for me. I always felt like I was different, like I didn't quite fit in. And being gay in that environment only added to the pressure. I struggled with feelings of shame and guilt, like there was something inherently wrong with me. So, watching the contestants, many of whom have faced similar struggles growing up as LGBT individuals, is nothing short of inspiring. Discrimination, rejection, struggles with self-acceptance-you name it, they've been through it. But watching them rise above it all, embracing their true selves despite societal pressures, is nothing short of awe-inspiring. What really gets me is the empowerment through art. It's this bold, fearless form of self-expression and creativity that allows these individuals to explore and embrace different facets of their identity. And seeing them do that with such confidence -it's infectious. Also, it's about the community and support that surrounds drag culture, on and off-screen. Plasma WON that 3way by a landslide tho... But production wanted to push MiYah... MiYah is a great performer, but she is BAD at drag race. Some people just aren't made for drag race, but are GREAT in their hometown gigs
For some reason Mi'yah did not know how to use the stage, probably because of how large it was. And I think being in a threeway lip sync was just bad for her cause you can't really do acrobatics with two other people on the stage.
S16 has been so enjoyable! Best season since S9 for me. Great cast and very charismatic 🙌🏽 And they better keep this Lalaparuza format instead of reunion. This is more enjoyable! Reunions haven't been great since S9.
Love Chastity, but I am shocked at how she dismissed Nymphia so out of hand. Nymphia has done well *most* weeks and had AMAZING runways EVERY week. She should not be discounted so easily!
I saw some tweets from Dawn saying she just wanted it to be over and chose Amanda because that’s her bestie and she wanted Amanda to make it to the next round. She knows she is not a good lipsycner and is very self conscious about it. She said she was going through a lot of personal stuff. Dawn looked so happy when Amanda chose Damaged.
I’m so glad this episode is the best rated finally we’ve beaten revenge of the queens an episode about tearing down another queen and raising up queens and watching a good ass show.
This was Megami night, I really think she was winning until halfway through the last lipsync, Morphine recovered and dominated from halfway through until the end.

Hey ladies, with the lalaparusa of season 16 being my favorite episode I have an idea for a new drag race show. "Battle of the Assassins" is a series of 6 episodes with the same format used in the lalaparusa where they bring 10 assassins every episode (they can be from all the franchises and seasons) at the end they give 50k to the winner of each episode. I have video idea for you ladies, creating the cast for each episode based on who y'all think would slay and deserves the exposure on TV. Also who would y'all like to be at the judging panel?

I liked that Dawn, Q and Xunami knew they weren't going to win and just came to have a good time. Megami and Morphine gave the best lip syncs all night and it was so exciting to watch them. I also loved seeing Mirage redeem her Cher lip sync, she's so captivating to watch. Megami said she picked What About because she knew Q wouldn't do her titty reveal to such a serious song, which was smart. Favourite lip syncs of the night were Mirage v Morphine and Megami v Morphine. The bias towards Plasma this season has been wild. Plasma has many talents, but she did not win against Mhi’ya in either of their matchups. Plasma read desperate to me. The jokes, the wig reveal… none of it made any damn sense to the song Milkshake. Mhi’ya gave what the song needed… sex. And… she has something to shake. Plasma would beat Mhi’ya if it was a Barbra Streisand ballad… but Milkshake? No.

Honestly, Megami was the winner for me. She was underrated the whole season and she showed these hoes who she was. I was tired of seeing Morphine lipsync. The only one of hers I liked was Body.
The image of the final 3 reminds me so much of season 8. Saphira gives such bob energy. Looks are a bit crusty but she is a polished entertainer, The mean model that knows life's not fair and is very confident however you know they will look back and see they were not as polished as they thought they were, and the high fashion look queen who is 80 20 in the challenges but has a polished personality.
As one JJ superfan to another, I was also gagged when I saw What About was a song choice. If I can add to your suggestion, her Velvet Rope tour I think 1999 or 2000 in NY, when HBO use to show live concerts on their channel, her performance to What About with her dancers is really good and worth the watch.
This is the best I've seen Mera look. Loving the aesthetic, queen looks fierce and cool. Ru's facial expressions were so entertaining, there was no doubt when she was unimpressed. A couple of times she looked straight up disgusted. X

Honestly, Megami was the winner for me. She was underrated the whole season and she showed these hoes who she was. I was tired of seeing Morphine lipsync. The only one of hers I liked was Body.

The image of the final 3 reminds me so much of season 8. Saphira gives such bob energy. As one JJ superfan to another, I was also gagged when I saw What About was a song choice. If I can add to your suggestion, her Velvet Rope tour I think 1999 or 2000 in NY, when HBO use to show live concerts on their channel, her performance to What About with her dancers is really good and worth the watch.
