You hit all my boxes this time. My trip into the Korean culture began during Covid. First came Kdrama and then BTS. At 87, I should be too old for a BTS, but here I am. I enjoyed the tour immensely and had a chuckle on the visual of me getting into the bunk bed. So I remain your faithful arm chair traveler enjoying the trips through your eyes.
You're never too old to be Army 💜 I introduced my mom to the boys and she was 81 😊

Oh imagine food in underground mall being actually good, not just re-heated instant food taken from mass containers ! Dan found us a treat ! The rooftop on your hotel really offered great atmosphere and cityscapes too.
And we even got to see part of the wedding, such an elegant venue !

I'm not so sure that I could have handled sleeping in that bunk bed. I am a fan of BTS. It was great to see the places and all the paintings where Taehyung and Suga have been. Another successful trip in South Korea. I love when you take us places. I will leave the planning to you as to where we go. I love surprises; well not scary surprises, 🤣😂🤣 The only place I like to be scared is horror movies. Aaaaagh! 😮🥹😢. I love your reaction to the animals in the zoo. Living in the States, people who live in New York City are shocked that we, in Montana U.S., have bears, Wolves, Bison, Deer, Moose, Mountain lions, Bobcats, among others, running free in our state. Of course there are signs everywhere in Yellowstone National Park that says please stay inside your car in this area; as well as signs that say Do Not Feed the Bear. Now I'm starting to babble again. Take Care Dan; we'll see you next time. 😁

to be honest it’s not something I’m used to. I’ve tried it maybe 2 times or something in my life while traveling. BUT I was also in the army haha and it was like that for 21months. It’s fun sometimes!
@@ThizisDanny it's starting to get fun once you get to know the people I assume. I wanted to join the army too but my dad lied to me that women are not allowed to enroll 😂 (in his defense - he was scared that I'll be following my dream of being Maverick but end up like Goose 🤦🏻♀️). By the time I had found out that women can enroll it was too late 😔(although...they do say that it's never too late)

This is so weird. I was in Daegu one week ago more or less, and we stayed in the same hostel( i was on the 3th floor), we went in the same café, then V"s elementary school and off course the night market. 😅 crazy. Anyway nice video😉

Hello Dan. I loved the video, many interesting spots that I added to my want-to-go list. I skipped that city back in April-May, when I was in SK. (I went Incheon (2) -> Seoul (12) -> Busan (5) -> Incheon (2) ) Daegu was on my short-list though, while planning, but I moved the 2 days that I originally planned for Daegu to Busan, so I could explore Busan for 5 days instead of 3... In retrospect, I should have planned less days in Seoul and a few days in Daegu... Oh well. Next time, I'll visit Daegu. Next time... Btw, thanks for the Lotus-speculoos Hotteok, if you still remember :)

Ah! You are in some of the places I went to last month when I was visiting Korea. I went to Daegu for 1 day and I LOVED it!! I was there from about 12pm-6pm I think. Long enough for me to see so much!

Another interesting video 😊 When you show us the graduation school that V studied, that is also the graduation school wall It made us happy to have words of our mother tongue on the sentences as well. My friend came to South Korea a few days ago and he was also show sentences on the school wall, paintings , I was very happy to see 😊 he was a traveller 😊 He also likes traveling a lot .He visited 52 countries in three years In mid-April he was in Japan, North Korea,in may southkorea Saw him 😊 staying in South Korea for a long time He had also booked a flight ticket to go to jeju but at that time it was raining heavily so all the flights were cancelled. so he cancelled america ticket also. he return to hyderabad. He also you tuber 😊 food stalls and food was looking good Tteokbokki , iced americano specially I like cheese croissant 😊 The cafe looking very good 😊 park ,animals Even in the video you have shown that there is a tiger I'm shocked park is peaceful you said it's dangers too bears will be there 😂 park is middle of the city 😅 hostel was not bad you adjusted it's happy to see 😅 spa is best for summer for realxing 😊 In india not there like this I like hot springs too but I'm feel shy when I go it's totally new for me and shocking also .

How did I miss this.. again lol. That 'peaceful park' would have scared the shoot out of me that poor seal did not sound like he enjoyed his stay there much lol. seeing all the food stuff made me 'homesick' for Seoul again.. as for places.. I'd enjoy some more remote/ historical places! Stuff tourists may not think of right away, but that may also be hard and require lots of research.. or maybe beaches close to Seoul.. ish! I LOVED Busan!! Thanks for doing this for us!

Hey Dan. Just remembered you said you’d recently been to Daegu for your friend’s wedding while I was eating at your wine bar (great food by the way - anyone here should check it out if you can). Yes - the park with animals was weird. I did enjoy the gopchang though. ;-) Sadly I didn’t get to Wolmi after I chatted to you - it rained really really hard the next night. My shoes were still damp on my flight home. Lol.

Lovely mini trip, Danny! 😊Hostels with complete strangers are not my thing (I was in Hostels only with the ones I already personally know in one room), but how awesome that there are blinds you can put down, it gives you still some privacy! 🙌I haven`t seen that in Europe so far! 👏😅 Here`s one "Where to go next" suggestion: Have you been to the Waterfall Cafe yet? (Cafe Pokpo, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul)? 😊
