Interesting topic. For sure it is concerning if one company has so much dominance, however... I remember the time before Google and what a game-changer Google was. Over the years I have consciously tried to move away from Google in terms of search engines and tried multiple alternative ones but the quality of the search results just wasn't there... 😞
Big tech needs to get these AI troll farms under control which is happening around the world & causing unrest by bad actor nations.
A lot of open source companies depend on Google's payments to survive; for example Linux distros and Mozilla/firefox.
