North Sydney Garbage & Recycling

Video Description:
Yesterday i went out to north sydney to finally get some good footage of some rear loaders. They did that lane way for both garbage and recycle, they did garbage at around 6:30am and they did recycle at 7:05am, the tip isn’t far away so i wasn’t waiting for long at all.
featured in this video is ‪@willoughbygarbagefan‬ and it was really nice to meet him to, i hope to get some more video of him at inner west (marrickville) and they have a couple of interesting trucks out there so that will be the goal for whenever i can get out there.

How come they use the 120(?) liter carts vs the dumpster style ones? (I think the 240 L?)

All the bins here are 240s except for the few 140s. I believe the units have to purchase their own 4 wheel bins as council only provides 240s. Hence why there are mainly 240s. It also comes down to storage, most these bin rooms were designed for 240s, all the units in this video have elephants foots which compact the garbage, a 660 would be too heavy for this.
