I watched every Braves game last year and when you said he hit .337 it still blew my mind. I can't imagine its possible to do that again, but that season was insane. His stats sound made up.
I watched every braves game also and im trying to figure out wat they talking about when they say Acuna “dosnt catch balls in the outfield” or “hes bad defensively”??? Dude is not bad lol he deff not on Micheal Harris level in the outfield but hes deff solid He made big catches all year for us
@@Due2ce I also watched every single braves game this year and can confirm he's kind of liability out there lol. He has 0 range and his jumps are so delayed when the ball is hit. Obv he has a hose, but the range and lack of instincts made him a pretty average defender last season.
@@79jdowgas a Philly fan I think top 10 is pushing it since he can’t really play the outfield, however that being said Teoscar Hernandez being over him makes no sense. Worse fielder, produced a lot less with the bat, don’t get it
Love the vids Marc. One thing I would bring up is that in your ranking videos, your voice volume has been really low. Been having to crank up the volume on youtube.
I’d be curious to see where you would rank Sean Bouchard, as I could see him getting more time in right over Goodman. He’s only played in 48 games but he’s put up some crazy numbers
Hey Marc, love your content brother, been following you for a few years now. Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas, and keep the content coming bro.
Marc actully Springer moving to RF was great for him he played unreal and his signutere diving catches were back id put him at 10 because of the bat tho 11 is fair
Honestly, you can interchange number 5 through number 2 and it would still be understandable as to why they are there. They all have close wars and similar impact to their teams
Want to know what blows my mind about acuna season is he was ice cold with the power (hr) to start the season like to go from that to 40 hR is insane. Like he started the season doing everything 11/10 offensively except power then randomly power came back and he hit 40 hR he could of hit 50 if he had power in April
@@cjisawesome3686 Compare Walker to Tatis. Walker played 31 games in the outfield in the Minors last year, and spent the entire 21 AFL (21 games) in the outfield. It's not like he didn't know he would be playing the outfield. Tatis played 24 games in the outfield prior to this year, and just won the gold glove. I blame the Cardinals for putting Walker out of position. I didn't watch the Cardinals enough to know if he made improvements, so he may improve now, but as it stands, over the whole year, -14 OAA is objectively really bad. I should know, my Rockies were trotting out Jurickson Profar, who also had -14 OAA
Marc I think you should add a small bar above the stat line to show what league average is. Just because a lot of people watch your ranking to get a feel who’s good going into next season and don’t really know much about the different stats.
As a guy who is both an Astros fan and a Philly fan, Marc. Buddy....... You're ranking Casty middle of the pack because his defense was bad and Philly is a bam box.... but you put Kyle Tucker in the top 5 when he plays in Mickey Maid Park, had pretty much the same offensive numbers and bad defense as Castellanos??? I love you Marc but I gotta call 🐂💩 on that, looks like a clear case of your anti-Phillies bias.
Watching Jordan Walker try to play the OF was brutal idk why the moment the Cardinals traded for Arenado they didn’t move him to the OF! I don’t think he’s ever going to win a gold glove but he’s really young and athletic plus the kid can crush baseballs!
the thing with jordan walker though is he has never played outfield and basically skipped AAA to start in a position he was unfamiliar with now with a whole offseason to prepare i think he will be much improved if not then i think it’s fair to judge as a bad fielder hopefully he takes a step forward in his offense at hits 25 plus homers i think your ranking is fair but i wouldn’t be surprised if he enters the top 10 by next season
I don’t get why you go so much off projections. That makes or break the player to you by someone saying that they’ll be good or bad NEXT YEAR. I just don’t get it rank them how they’ve played not a gamble prediction

True 😂
I really thought we were just skipping RF to avoid talking about Soto for a second 😂
RF has to be the most loaded position in the MLB. Acuña, Soto, Tatis, Carroll, Garcia, Tucker is crazy
And this is with Betts not playing RF anymore.
carrol at number 1 tho
@tylerwelling806 Acuña makes Carroll look like a AA player who's in over his head....
or judge@@carlwilliams9642
@@fullcircle8231Carroll was a rookie, he has strong potential to stack up to Acuñas numbers

My favorite reliever, Nick castellanos 😁
Why 15 could Nick be at least top 10

For the first time ever, I’ve caught myself waiting on a new TH-cam video to drop, like daily. Great format man, I always enjoy your stuff
I’m pretty low on Castellanos but man it still feels like a he’s better then a few of the guys ahead of him.
God bless you for showing the clip of the Braves bullpen guys coming out for Ronald’s home run. Uncle Jesse is a TREASURE

I live in ATL and love the braves, so it’s nice to see Marc not crapping on their player for once
Why is Catsellnos lower he had a statistically better season yet 12 to 15
I cannot wait to see Soto in action with judge this up coming season
Juan Soto (#2) is "just outside" of #1 (La Bestia, of course!) in much the same way that I am "just over" 150 lb.
Ronald acuña jr is my favorite relief pitcher

id have jordan walker higher tbh, his hitting upside is crazy high, and he showed improvement defensively late in the year.

Idk dude I think Benson could break out this year. Strikes out but has a great approach and runs the bases really well
These countdowns get me pumped!
That’s why Starling Marte is the best relief pitcher in the world- Marc
And that’s why the New York Mets have the best RF in baseball…no doubt
And people say Acuna cant play multiple positions
Absolutely great ranking
as a Reds fan who saw Benson start like 2/28 with like 20 strikeouts i thought i was dreaming when he started lighting it up
I think the craziest part is that if they weren't being moved to new positions next year, you could add Aaron Judge and Mookie Betts to this list too.
I was thinking 15 for walker but 17 work’s hopefully he’s top 7 next year
Why is Arron Judge not in there?
He is playing center

Ahhhhh, Jason Hayward relief pitcher for the dodgers
I hate to admit it, but you did a good job of ranking my Royals.
My only gripe is I would put a adolis Garcia number five and Charol number six. Other than that it’s pretty accurate.
Acuna is the greatest relief pitcher of all time
Nelson Velazquez is underrated
you picked the right spot for Walker he had a good rookie year in my opinion at least

Teoscar Hernandez is a better defender than you are giving credit for. Per advanced stats he was 1 drs 0 oaa which is not too bad.
Soto is the most dominant reliever money can buy
1. Acuna 2. Tucker 3. Carroll 4. Soto
hands down the best error by a right fielder was by suzuki that was great!
