I think I understand where ruby is coming from. She’s more upset as a friend of Zolo, thinking she’s been treated unfairly as a result of lack of understanding of her character’s “fairness”. She very well could’ve had zolo picked up by ems, and because it was ZOLO just let him go with a ticket. What she fails to get is that, there is a time for sbs and there is a time for seriousness as a crime - and they can’t always warn you ahead of time, because the consequences for them if they did are you charging them for illegal possessions or other crimes. Zolo is saying, love ya ruby, but I had too much too lose on me for my boys to be taking it easy on ANY cop. And like he said, BECAUSE it was Ruby he told his boys not to shoot her, where they might normally would with few cops.

Zolo explained it to her very well he has stuff to lose, she doesnt its that simple
PD is not in tune with how the charges and fines severely mess up some criminals. The PD isn't in tune with a lot of things in the city, because otherwise, they would navigate situations way better.
See this is the issue that Koil was talking about in his other clip about how the current system is flawed in the sense that the way the legislation is set up, it forces criminals to react in a certain way because of how easy it is to get a terrorism charge or to get caught with a Hot gun. And vise versa, because of the cops SOP's, they are forced to respond in a certain manner. So both sides are in a way right. It's just the system itself that needs to be updated a bit.
Zolo saying "we have shit to lose, yall dont" perfectly explains 99% of the toxic interactions with cops.
I really believe the server could benefit from cops having to play crim for a certain amount of hours before they can be cops. Because they get waaaay too emotional and OOC mad if they dont get their way.

The cops who are getting emotional either don't play crim at all, or play cop 95% of the time. I'm not saying crims don't do it as well, just that a lot of cops could benefit from this.
@@pjh1663 There are zero high command members that play crim. Cops with crim characters increase significantly at Sergeant/Lieutenant and below, however those crims are baby crims. The vast majority of those crim characters aren't even hang arounds. The primary ones that have real crims in 4.0 are Alice Watson, Lukas Lavender, Ellis Pinzone (Hydra squad), Tadgh McQuillen, (ADMC), Conan Clarkson, Alejandro Picadillo, (CG) Brock Letty (Kaneshiro), Crocodile Steve (BBMC), Tyler Peters (Besties). Most of these players rarely play on their cop characters with the exception of the Hydra Squad and Tyler Peters. Hydra cops are very active because Hydra has so many members that their participation in the crew isn't vital to its continued operation and function.
One thing that is basically universal with all of the players that have notable characters on both sides is that they are probably the most tryhard/ruthless cops on the server. They go extremely hard on criminals, and extra hard against their own gang. The difference is that these cops are perfectly happy to throw away an arrest to SBS roleplay and have some fun with it. They also tend to be incredibly forgiving when it comes down to sentencing, since they want to avoid writing a report if possible, so they usually just cut the suspect a plea deal. If a crim scuffs, their first thought is to revive them or give them a chance to escape, while the rest of the PD will protect any arrest as if their life depends on it.
The sad part is that the vast majority of these cops that have crim characters have all been added to the PD in the last couple months, when the PD realized that they needed more experienced players around to help teach the rest of the PD as well as bring a more lighthearted and fun mood to the PD. I'm not exactly sure which characters were part of this initiative or if all of them were the result of it, but the PD had dubbed this hiring spree "The Bad Batch".
So there you go, I brought receipts. Its may be a tired talking point, but that doesn't mean that it isn't true.
It's more about being competitive even in a RP game...no one wants to lose so everyone might understand what the other goes through...it still irritates people to lose either way...that's what it comes down to, competitive nature
@@chazhubbard8837 I would agree but some of the weirdge stuff comes from after a W is already made. If crims W its usually a W if cops W there is then a game of what can we charge them with and a new layer of W chasing. I think what most crims are looking for is leniency on after being caught. In this situation Zo said it perfect what if the norm was after an L you don't go negative with almost no way of making good money without hours of grinding. Most Crim jobs have such a high risk involved because of the crim economy 6 members do a heist for half a million. 6 people with guns getting caught means at least 150k in fines but they have a chance at 500k after spending a ton on starting the job and materials its basically just for the content. Cops fine as if crims are making their 3500 an hour for just being out there on the streets. I think a community RP meeting would help a ton. Its good RP practice to make sure everyone at the table feels good about whats happening. Were all humans at the end of the day.

Her character has changed so much since 4.0 towards cg over not understanding what a crim goes through. Would really like her to play crim for a bit and get some perspective.
