I am Chinese American. I returned China in 2019 and traveled at zhangjiajie, Feng Huang ancient town. I was born and grew up in China, but did not get chances to travel all of the country. I am really shocked by the scenery and multi cultures in China. It is so easy and safe to travel alone even as a single woman.

Bro, if you don't eat meat, dont try to eat dry noodles everyday. Try Fried Bread (Youtiao), Steamed Dumplings - Jiaozi (With vegetables inside, say no meat (bu yao rou)), Steamed buns with sesame paste inside (baozi). Try rice with just vegetables, or egg and tomatoes, or potatoes, or cucumber salad. It's okay to be scared of trying food that you don't know. but the ones I gave out is pretty universal and harmless to your stomach and mind.

Try Fried Bread (Youtiao), Steamed Dumplings - Jiaozi (With vegetables inside, say no meat (bu yao rou)), Steamed buns with sesame paste inside (baozi). Try rice with just vegetables, or egg and tomatoes, or potatoes, or cucumber salad. It's okay to be scared of trying food that you don't know. but the ones I gave out is pretty universal and harmless to your stomach and mind.
