Helpful video, I know this video is a bit old but can I suggest you keep the shots from the same direction. Switching from one side to the other was a bit confusing and on a more complex tutorial could def mess people up. Like with sports on tv, the shots are always on one side of the pitch so people don't get confused who has the ball and which way its going.
For anyone not able to get the villagers into the minecart on bedrock, move the dispenser and rail system one block up. And make sure you build a roof over the water area so villagers don't jump to avoid the minecart. Also, if the baby villager isnt falling into the hole, turn the tilled soil in front of it into regular dirt.
it was not working before, but to get it to actually start working I checked the comments and one user stated that you must let the two villagers sleep in the beds for one night, then put them back in the crop farm for them to actually start breeding, this helped for me as the farm is now working great.

Just remodeled from another design to this one and I like this one better! I like to let my villagers sleep, so I put extra room by the farm for the Parents. :) I like how you put the ingredients list first. I think your video would only be better if you showed the dimensions of the foundation area before beginning. Thanks so much for another great video!
Your version of the breeder is much more compact. You can also temporarily store newly bred ones. I find that good. And I can build a nice house on top of it later, so the farm disappears from the field of vision.👍

wait til night, and the baby villagers will walk right into the water edit: doesnt even need to be night, they will want to go to the beds and fall into the water ;)
You can try placing the trap door from the other side so it opens towards the beds or just place a button. I typically just push the kids with my character towards the whole of shame

I am playing on Bedrock (1.19.63) and I had to replace the bottom trapdoor with a button, because the baby villager did not want to step on the trapdoor. But other major flaw is that the baby villager, after he falls through the hole, does not unlink from its bed. Therefore a new baby cannot be created until the first one is transported away. Does anybody know a solution to this apart from having many many beds?
@@maltegammel7711 I solved it by sending the villager babies to the Nether through a portal at the end of the water flow. By this mechanics the link to the bed is broken a the bed becomes available for a new baby. Once in a while I then visit the Nether and collect all the babies from there 😉
I just realized the more beds u have, the faster the villagers will breed so that the bed could be occupied by the baby villager, if there is simply one bed only then it will be occupied by the baby, and the villager wont breed until they have free beds, I think it will be good to make a layer below full of beds at least 10 and make a simple system where baby villagers will fall to occupy the bed while the grown villagers wont be able to fall. so u could have 10 villagers in 1 in-game day (Only if they have enough food, in order to speed up the process give them stacks of any kind of crops).
Couldn't get the villagers to breed for forever and found the issue. Our server had gamerule mobgriefing false so creepers wouldnt blow up everything, which also made famers not be able to farm. After setting the gamerule to true it worked perfectly

If it ever stops working, block the villagers that have grown from getting access to the beds. My solution was to just build a solid wall to break sight/stop the particles and have a roof. I did have it hidden in a hill. Then rebreak the beds so the breeders have a chance to claim 2 of them and it will start working again. I've only had this happen once and I've built it several times.

Worked for me. Very simple but effective, i love the rail function because i can shoot them straight to the trading hall I made sure the 2 villagers slept the first night in the bed then i locked them out with the trapdoors Babies fall through perfectly, some people were having trouble with that make sure to check the trapdoor placement
@@InQuaria thats possibly it, im on java, maybe you can find an alternative to trapdoors like a sticky piston for example that opens a hole powered by a pressure plate
The villagers had one kid together but now there are always hearts till the end and then exploding hearts and there is no baby, what ist the problem? I have currently 4 beds, 2 breeding villagers and 1 ready to push out

ahh I had placed a hopper next to my dispenser for minecart reloading and it wouldn't load the villager because the button was activating the hopper. What a funny "bug"
Works perfectly on 1.19.4 Remember that these 2 "parents villagers" must be farmers! I've done simply a trade with them to make sure they wont change/lose their profession.

if you built next to an already existing village it won't work as well i think, i built mine underground with villagers in the village that i live in, but destroyed all of the pre existing beds = it is no longer classed as a village. gave them rougly 10 stacks of potatoes and they bred twice within 20 mins
Loved the orogo al design, can't really see what is happening when digging the villager delivery system, it is unclear where to place the sign and the water above it.

I was halfway through building my third breeder because I thought this one wasn't going to work. Looks like I just had to be patient, it took a bit until they started breeding but once they did it was smooth sailing. Also, if you build it near a village you need to destroy all the other stations and beds, at least, that's what I did and it ended up working. I'm on 1.19.2 ;)
I made villager farm in Bedrock version and it works perfectly. I referred to comment in this video. [1. Place the dispenser and electric rail at one space height. (It is correct if placed in series.) 2. Place general soil (instead of cultivated soil) in front of the trap door] And my tip is 1. Create a roof glass to monitor farm errors 2. If the heart effect has been observed but does not increase, place as many beds as the number of villagers needed around the farm. 3. It is recommended to connect a village farm with a trading hall. In this case, after you push the button, place the rail so that villager can be located into right zone you want. (*To kill a fool villager, you need to press the button to put it out and light it with a lighter.) (*I used a translator. The sentence may be awkward.)

It might be because you used a dropper instead of a dispenser

Didn't worked, my villagers didn't breeded for at least 10 (in game) days (+ they had enough food since I gave them a whole stack).
Did you trade with them by any chance? Villagers who have a locked profession cannot breed.

The second sloped rail is what picks up the villagers. So the rails need to be either at the same height as their feet, or one rail then a sloped one.

you can upgrade this to 2nd floor and it breed super fast ( remember make 2nd floor at the 4 block)

The villagers should be farming the carrots when you place them on the ground giving them food to breed with

Figured it out, break a block outside the bed area across from the trapdoors, the baby villager will think there’s a way out and fall.

This farm worked a bit too well as my villagers started to ENTITY CRAM AND DIE
Remove the beds to stop the breeding, or use blocks to block the view of the beds!
my villagers dont get transported through the sign and water system into the second room, whats wrong?
lack of beds didnt work for me kept having angry particles bc of lack of beds
now i wull build this with obsidian then make it a vending machine

Mine seem to still be able to use the composter instead of trading between each other? How can this be fixed?
Oh man I didn't see the last thing that said the roof needs to be 3 blocks high and wondered for several minecraft days why it didn't do anything 😅
Thanks so much! I just have one question though. Will it work well if I build a iron farm right next to it? I would be so sad if the breeder works as a village and the iron golem will spawn by the breeder :(
I think iron farms should be usually at least 150 blocks away from any other villagers or beds. Do double check this information because I'm not sure
@@danielschirrmeister1352don't thinks so, you just have to make sure that iron gollems can't spanw anywhere else, the distance doesn't need to be this bif
