Yup, I'm nearly 13 and I watch and talk about stuff that I'd all up to 16+ :)
There is the drag color and drop tool. The drag and drop color tool is just where you have to hold the color circle for around 1 second and drag the color then you can not instantly hover over the thing you want to put it in and instantly release. you must hold for a second.
One thing hipaint does really well, is the magic wand tool. It's basically a masking tool, but for the selected area. No dotted line that misses whole areas. I also had no issues with crashing. But I'm definitely a hobbiest, and more into physical art, but I like the accessibility of digital art and am trying to learn. Btw, when using liquify, change the brush to medium airbrush and lower the opacity, this will make it smoother
Also in hipaint which i just found out is that if you hold on the colour thingy u can get a colour thingy idk how to explain it its like a circle and u spin it and it has pre made colours

I agree that what she said was wrong but you guys need to calm down some. Don’t get me wrong, It was a *bad* idea to post this before responding, but I think:
1. People on the internet don’t give others enough time to respond. A controversy will show up and if they don’t have a video up within a day y’all will start shouting that they’re ignoring it & running for the problem. I think it’s important for the creator to acknowledge the allegations exist and say “I’m working on a response” but don’t dog pile on them because it’s not immediately out. I know this isn’t *super* relevant but I wanted to mention it.
2. She said one or two things one time, and while I agree the things she said were wrong and she should be held accountable, there are people saying she hates black people?? I just think we need more information before we’re jumping to “Kooleen hates black people”
3. For the people saying she’s racist *because* she only draws white people, first of all a lot of the people she draws are Asian, and Asian people are poc; second of all, other artists do the exact same thing and no one gets upset with them about it. I’ve never seen SamDoesArts draw a black woman but no one’s canceling him for it. I’m not saying the comments she made weren’t bad, they definitely were racist and problematic, but if y’all aren’t holding other artists up to the same standard then her art isn’t part of the problem here.
4. Kooleen if you see this, address what’s going on dude…ignoring it just makes things look worse on your end.
Noone would be saying anything if she hadn't Proceeded to say that "she doesn't draw ugly people" which is very iffy from the fact she doesn't draw anyone of color. So you can take that as you will. What really made everything take a toll for her is her recent video that she now deleted. Being asian doesn't stop you from being racist and colorist ( hell Asians are well known for not liking any skin tone that is anywhere from brown to black) cause there are black, Asian and white and both races think of us as being anything less than human. You are correct that Samdoesart doesn't usually draw people of color but you can actually see him attempt to and has done a few characters that are black, doing something is better than not trying at all( besides I only reallysee him drawing his main Ocs) . And even if he didn't draw anyone of color never once had he said anything that I would regard as putting down anyone or saying a feature that a whole RACE has and compare it to an animals.

Can I just say I haven’t really been finding Kooleen’s content funny anymore. Like I used to strive to get a top comment on one of her videos where her comedy was good, but now she just re-uses the same jokes as ‘Juicy’ and ‘Picasso’ and ‘smegsy’ which are sometimes just weird statements. Other times, she tries to fix other people’s art. Actually almost all the time. Her content has just become repetitive, and it’s not really giving anyone help just changing their art into her own version. And the whole not drawing black people or their features is something I never even noticed it as a black person💀 but now that I think about it, she wasn't being inclusive and when she had the chance to draw a poc she took away all of their features. Anyway I hope she improves and responds to the allegations and comments because she’s going to loose fans.

Wow that's so cool, I just tried it right now for a tad bit. The color drag and drop works, though slightly differently. You need to hold it for a second or to before moving yo drop it. As for the other issues, I have not got to try those features yet. I've been using Procreate for months now and love it. However I'd like to try some other features and such too. 😊

About liquify, there is some settings and modes that you have to set before use, one of them is exactly like procreate.

This is so real man I'm sorry. This is the type of mentality that's perpetuated in the artistic field that ends up giving people mental health issues and eating disorders. She's not a corporation, but she's still harming her young and impressionable audience. TH-camrs really have nothing holding them to be good role models, so they aren't. Can you try to draw Poc features better instead of replacing them to “fix” them? Like I know it’s a style but people are mad that you don’t draw black coded features, and you replace them. I don’t want you to get canceled, but there are good reasons present to cancel you. It would also better your mind set with art,and show more inclusivity. Also, please don’t talk down on POC features. It’s not a style to draw POC features correctly, it’s them being inclusive. You should also include races other than African American. Like eastern Asian, Native American, and so on.

I would just like to say: Yes, Kooleen should’ve never made that racist comment. And she surely needs to apologize about it. However, I do not agree with making her draw POC. Yes, encouragement is fine, and more diversity in her art would be great. But please know forcing an artist to draw a certain something is not the right course of action either. She’s not obligated to do so. But i still dont think that being unable to draw POC character art in her style is her being racist, i think it's just her being lazy or lacking effort in doing so.
And as a black person myself, I don't see the use dwelling on this. Don't let a few remarks from a youtuber, mind you, ruin your self esteem. Black features are beautiful, and I still don't think that kooleen meant it to offend anyone either. Whether or not she makes an apology, I and a lot of you would like to see some improvement, no?

so i tried hipaint out and they have the drag and drop bucket tool, all you've gotta do is hold and then drag and drop, and about the hand screen stains, check settings there is something called pen mode. I hope this helps :D

Hipaint is amazing 😂 Right when it came out I made my own brushes for it because app interface is awsome but brushes are not that good. I even filmed it and posted on my yt channel, and also did a challenge painting with finger on phone.

So I checked out this app and I can move the color wheel , I have that satisfying bucket thing and also liquify did not made my art pixeled idk how . but I think it's great for us android users. At least I ended the dream of buying an iOs just for procreate haha
Procreate does have a reference tool although you can’t resize it which is very annoying. Actions -> canvas -> reference -> image -> import image
