Graveyard Song for me tied with the two aforementioned. He has this gift of being able to make every listener feel like he wrote that song specifically for them
Jeff has been my favorite musician for more than half my life now, since I was obsessed with ASOB in my teen years and subsequently BTMI in my late teens/early 20s. I've never been let down by a release. In fact, every release has been exactly what I've needed as they lyrical content always reflects where I'm at in my life and what my concerns and struggles are. It's comforting.
Like the AJJ “people’in” reference given Jeff and AJJ are both on the same label (or at least were) … that’s how I actually discovered Jeff’s music through my discovery and love of Knife Man back many years ago.
If I had a nickel for every time an album that starts with "Hell..." and had a pink album cover got a 9, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

It was such a treat to step out of the first show of his tour tonight and see Fantano praise the album so heavily! It’s a 10 for me but this is a great score!!

It's a 10, might even be an 11, but it's absolutely a 10. He says exactly what I feel every single time he puts lyrics to paper. He is a fucking genius and genuinely makes me cry more frequently than I'd like to admit. And I can't fucking believe you didn't mention HEAD, I laughed my ass off when I saw the title and then screamed my head off along side him every time it plays in my car and will continue to do so until I die. Jeff deserves a 9. I would swap WORRY's 8 with this 9 though IMO. Another solid album, though I still put it behind We Cool and Worry. Jeff albums always grow on me with repeat listens though so we'll see if that stands

The top priority is "Vacation" from Bomb The Music Industry!, after that "Three Cheers For Dissapointment" by The Arrogant Sons Of Bitches, and then you can eat up the rest of BTMI at whatever order if you want (but "Goodbye Cool World' and "Scrambles" are especially great). The rest of ASOB is sort of iffy, so i would leave it for last if you liked the rest. Shoutout to Antarctigo Vespucci and the Bruce Lee Band too, his projects with Chris Farren and Mike Park respectively.
You're so right that Jeff can turn doom and gloom into epic sounds. The song "Nausea" from his album We Cool? is the epitome of that for me. It really speaks to me and the struggles I went through with alcoholism in past years.

Could you listen to “Being Human” by Mike Sabbath and the Moongirls, their debut album that came out in 2023, a band of all men that blends disco, funk, and pop. I discovered them right after they released their second single in preparation for their debut album. There are some great bops on the album, and the lead singer I believe is the prodigy of Pharrell Williams as well has had some features on some pretty prominent pop albums of the last few years. Obviously not the best album of all time, but a very solid debut with a lot of future potential for the band.
Maybe it’s my age but I prefer this album over any other Jeff Rosenstock album. Front to back the most solid album of 2023. My most played and it’s just a standout even in a great year of music. To my mind the track list is perfectly arranged and yet the songs all stand on their own.

every song on the album on first listen just sounded like regular jeff but with more listens, especially the singles, I've come around on literally every one. Every song on it has something great, whether it be production, vocals, lyrics or just energy(head). I'd say its better than we cool but probably just under no dream. Really happy I'm enjoying it now hope you do too!
No Dream hit me in a way no other album ever has and likely ever will so that is still #1 forever but I love this new album so so much, it has some incredible bangers and tortuously relatable lyrics, HELLMODE is already a classic for me

TOTALLY LOVED DOUBT. I can't believe how good this album is, the first track has one of the most genius changes i've ever heard.
Loved this record top to bottom. Real culmination of past elements on Hellmode, but as you said, produced better than his past offerings.

I also really like Jeff's "we cool" and "I look like shit" albums. Also his other ska project The Arrogant Sons of Bitches is amazing as well
