It wasnt until translating the bible that Lucifer eas combined with that title. Lucifer was the name of a bishop that thought poor people shouldnt be able to read thr bible. The translator slapped his name over the... i wanna say the Byzantine? Emperor who was given the title satan, and was known as the morning star.
There IS a biblical angel whos job was to go down to earth, challenge people and bring misfortune to test them, ala the story of Job... who later got associated with pop culture Lucifer, who became satan.

There’s many fictional work(be it shows, movies, books, games, etc) that end up telling the story that God straight up abandoned the universe/ disappeared with no one knowing where.

You know with the helluva boss episode “cherub” this helping things make a lot more scene.
It adds a lot more credence to the fan theory that Charlie is going to need to give God a hug and help him through his issues.

I feel like if this was cannon it would shine a new light on lucifer, it would show that all he wants is to protect his daughter. But by doing that he isn’t realising the burden he is casting upon her. If this was implemented into the canonical story (which I think would be really cool and this deserves it. Great comic and voice acting btw) it could add an underlying tone of love to lucifer and lead the story on to some sort of war again having a crossover of helluva boss and has in hotel and being able to see what these demons are actually capable of.
If you really think about it Lucifer's fall in Abrahamic teachings was about love. He loved the angels to much to sit by as they were turned into slaves in service to humans. He is the Morningstar the first light of a new day, and the pride he had in himself and the other angels refused to let him see such a bleak future for them. Hell even with Adam and Eve he acted to show them the true world not just Eden and granted them the knowledge to use the free will God granted to humans as being equal to the angels instead of just mindless beasts.
Nope, wrong there. If you look at what Lucifer does in the Bible, it’s all about rebellion. Angels were created knowing all about God and got to be right with Him. Lucifer wanted that power and he rebelled. Within Isiah, there is a passage where Lucifer talks about he is going to be like God. If you look at Revelations, the antichrist, who follows Lucifer, causes great strife and suffering. When it comes to the Garden of Eden, Lucifer knew that the tree would cause the perfect world to fall. That is why he lied to Eve saying that the tree would grant her powers to be like God. Adam and Eve had freedom. Having the tree in their midst gave the the choice to follow God or follow themselves. And if the never ate of the tree, their children would have the same choice. You can say that the garden was like what the millennial kingdom is described as in revelations. With the absence of the devil and the world influencing, the people will still struggle against themselves. Adam and Eve struggled against any desire to eat of the tree. Lucifer just preyed on that

If we ever get a flashback of Lucifer's rebellion, can we see Stolas as an angel too? Apparently he was an angel but he helped Lucifer rebel against God so he was casted out of heaven with Lucifer and became a demon. But since Stolas is a pacifist demon, he is only a "prince".
I think there is another comic that show the angel visiting Charlie by the same artist and yes they do go back to heaven and he's greeted by an Angel that mentions if he met his counterpart who is stolas and yes I know this is an 11 month comment
In the lore of the series, Stolas is born AFTER the fall to the Goetia family, and to King Paimon.

Well out of all the roles the different types of angels and the different arch-angels play with the normal mythology Gab is the pearl of the group so it is only fitting.
I was never fond of this Lucifer's look, but such majestic comic changed my mind. Beatiful job into portraying both of them.

This... hasn't aged well, but seeing how fans predicted and interpreted what Luci might be from a few images from the original ep is really cool.
I love how this portrays Lucifer as the one who used to be the glue that kept the family together. His mistake caused everything to fall apart and once he finally started listening he realized the consequences of his actions. The pain was deep for Michael, Gabriel and everyone else. I think a fraction of Lucifer still loves his Heaven family. Maybe they’ll… I dunno shake hands, hug and forgive if neither side shows a sign of stubbornness

Gabriel makes a good point: Lucifer does practically let every demon in hell bully his daughter.
I mean it definitely does help to kind of make her stronger because you know what they say: what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger
But I just think it would be better for him to be at least a little bit more supportive of his daughter.
But I do remember that she picked up something from him about how you don't take shit from other demons so I guess he does kind of give her advice but he definitely would do better if he was a little bit more active.
Well, Vivzie says aside from one giant flaw, that will be explored in the show, Lucifer is a good parent and he loves Charlie dearly.

I love Gabriel's appearance because he looks like a true soldier and Gabriel is known as one of the many True Archangels (Fun Fact:Lucifer was also a true archangel but turned into a true archdemon lord after his transform) meaning Gabriel and many others are really strong (And spite being immortal the Light of God can hurt Lucifer and certain people like God,Michael and Akiel who is against lucifer and is also Lucifer's son)

@rianpilkungton8524 one i enjoy seeing for sure, I'm a fan of demonology, hell I'm hoping we get to see more of the Ars Goetia in the future, since the sins seem to be them accended bar lucifer, suggesting some form of ascension from lesser key to absolute sin. The only reason I say this is interesting is BECAUSE Hazbin's universe likes using the lesser key symbols, meaning they are part of the system
I feel like Lucifer wants Michael bc he knows Michael wouldn’t try to resolve anything. He’d start screaming right back at Lucifer. He feels like he can be angry at Michael but he knows if any of his other siblings talk to him he might break down

I think it's cool that they show that even beings with almost infinite power still have feelings and problems similar to those of humanity, showing that God REALLY made humans in his image
As much as I love the adorkable, rubber ducky loving Lucifer we got today, I wish we also got stuff like this (maybe even incorporate this as showing Lucifer's more serious side). Honestly, some fan content of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are better than the actual shows. Some of the lore is better and the characters are handled far better, it really shows how much people really care about these characters.

Ok but how is it false hope if the angels support her? How is it not going to work if the angels give her their blessing? That would mean there is sound tactics to Charlie’s plan? Unless of course it’s one of the lies Lucifer is talking about. But from Gabriel’s behavior that’s not something they are lying about.
Gabriel looks so beautiful in the comics, I would like to see him in this form in the series if he appears there at all ❤

Michael (Who is like God?) took the role as the good brother he is.
Camael (Fury of God) lost all sense of patience and became a warmonger (horseman of War)
Jophiel (God is my rock/Beauty of God) saw injustice and ugliness as his death approached.
Raphael (God is my healer) couldn't even heal Gabriel's exhaustion.
It seems that every angel here is experiencing something relevant to their names, albeit tragic.

This makes me wonder if Lucifer not wanting Charlie to help sinners get to heaven has to do with his past.
I would like to see more of this, its....I can't think of the words to put it but, its amazing to say the least, but that's saying a AC103 is only made to fly exceptionally well.

Fun Fact: In the bible, Lucifer's name literally means "Pride". Also one of the seven deadly sins. And the other names have the same meaning behind the sins.
Lucifdr brought it on himself and God knew he would betray him. God had to let it happen because it was going to he gave Lucifer the chance to not but in the end Lucferia decided he wanted to be above God and for that he is kicked out of heaven.
Lucifer means “morning star” and “shining light”, not necessarily pride. But he is the prince of pride, the 7 deadly sins.

Completely agree, I would of love this type of storyline had they adapted it to the actual show. But at the same time I also love the current storyline that did get published.

This kind of gives me a Lucifer vibe. The whole family being stressed and God leaving them thing. (Lucifer's a really awesome TV show btw.)
