I can’t stop crying. The today me is still in denial, how much more if my 10-year-old self heard the news, she would be in shambles, in agony, and broken. The last piece of innocence of my childhood just shattered thinking that the reunion that I’ve been anticipating will be in his funeral. I’ve been a fan for 11 years now, though I’m not that active anymore, I still support you, I never stopped.
I will miss the old times when I would go with my mom in divisoria, a cheap shopping mall, just to buy some fake One Direction merch because I couldn’t afford the original ones. Or the times me and my brother would watch all day and all night the funny moments of 1D in youtube. The time where I would watch the adventurous adventure of one direction with my brother and we would laugh all day even if we watch it repeatedly we would still laugh all the time. I won’t forget the precious moments I’ve shared with my friends listening to their music as they are also a fan. Dancing their ridiculous dances with my brother. Memorizing the script in their music video “BEST SONG EVER” with my brother because of how funny it is. Fighting over the members with my friends because we have the same favorite member. Reminiscing those memories made me thankful to you and to One Direction for being a big part of my life. I will treasure those moments as if I knew you personally.
One Direction formed a bond between people through their music and their silliness. Their legacy will never be forgotten, YOUR legacy will never be forgotten. I regret not seeing you in person and not be able to listen to your voice in your concert, maybe it wouldn’t be this hard to accept if I had. It still hurts me whenever I search your name and it is placed there the date of your death. Your death still wouldn’t sink in, I’m still in denial and I couldn’t stop crying, you’ve been a part of my childhood and my teenage years. Thank you for all the years, I think this is goodbye😔.
