    Joe Rogan is sharing great wisdom to everyone of us by saying that we should embrace discomfort. On a similar level, this is what the kettlebell will cause to some extent when you're starting out. In this video, I'm going to share 10 Benefits of kettlebell training that can morph you into a walking tank - like Joe Rogan! ;) - Gregory

      That is awesome, did you use a structured program or just make it up as you went along? Trying to find a starting point. I bought the 90 day program from Lebe Stark. Waiting on the kettlebell I ordered to come in. Just looking at all options to maximize success.

    After years of sitting at a desk job, I picked up kettlebells a few months ago and ended up hurting myself.
    It had nothing to do with the kettlebell itself, it was because my glutes, hamstrings and core were weak as hell due to all of the sitting I did. When I healed up, I got a standing desk, starting a walking regimen, and I spent several weeks working with a physical therapist to heal and strengthen all my weak spots.
    Fast forward about 4 months and now I can say I've done hundreds of swings, cleans, presses, and turkish get-ups and my back is stronger than it's ever been in my life. Plus I've dropped about 2 pants sizes. Kettlebells are super potent when done properly and with a good foundation.

    love your stuff. I have a home gym and incorporated KBs two days a week a while ago. The best part is the efficiency of time with KBs. I get a better cardio workout doing a 10 minute EMOM than going for a 30 minute run.

    excellent video! I like Lebe says kettlebells do a decent job of building muscle up front. Most KB people or band enthusiasts or "insert modality of choice" will say they are #1 for building muscle. Ive seen medicine ball people say they build muscle as good as free weights :) All tools have strengths and weaknesses. At the same time Barbells are good for what they are....loading the skeletal system maximally but have many drawbacks.

    Hey man, I like your videos a lot, I realy do, but I don't understand your style. I know, it is not a hardstyle, but what about the form of your swing(s)? Do hybrid style requires you to lift your feet so much (toes & heel somtimes)? Mostly, in bottom position...is that OK? I'm genuinly curios about that. Pls. share, maybe I would like to try it...tks!

    Never see anyone mention to be careful when you swing the kettlebell between your legs. If you're not paying attention the knees are vulnerable? I just started adding these to my routine and that made me nervous for awhile.

    • @GailOwens
      @GailOwens 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      kettlebells go in kg usually, 10lb is 4kg, You should br swinging at least a 8kg (17 or 18 lb), ideally swining a 12kg (25lb). I would get a coach to show you, properly. This coach here has loads of courses. kettlebells are fantastic, however you need practice proper form.

    I like your videos Greg, and this one had great content as well.
    But the same way I cringed when I saw Joe's technique with kettlebell (another great video of yours), I cringed because of the clickbaity intro to this video. You just name-dropped him to get clicks...
    You have great enough content so as not to need to stoop so low.
