Billy is no bigot. A bigot hates a people for stupid reasons or just no reason at all. Billy has EVERY reason to hate Homelander and all the other Supes. I mean for god's sake Starlight is probably the ONLY real Superhero in their world.
If you watch the show the supes actually make a difference. I watched starlight kill a man with kids. I think the message of the show is nobody is truly “good” they’re just fighting for their own cause whether it’s be their ego or vengeance.
He's no bigot but he absolutely has a blind hatred for all supes, solely because of homelander. It just so happens that most supes are pieces of shit
I remember in the comics Billy killed that kid after he killed Becca in childbirth. To be honest I kind like this twist on that. I see raising Ryan as Billy's truly last chance to be happy and I'm glad he didn't kill him and throw it away. And also I can't wait to see Homelander get what he deserves.
now the question is what will set butcher off to go full vengeful on homelander cause thats the whole point in the comics he didnt even get the chance to kill homelander but now that everything is up in the air on whats going to happen next but im 99 percent sure that in the end it will come down to butcher and homelander killing one another
