Great system!! My suggestion is for you guys to make a rectangular griddle that fits The Judge. That would be a game changer and add even more cooking versatility!! Right now I would have to use a smaller griddle that goes on top of the grates. Release a system for the judge where you have a single griddle that was half the size of the Judge's cooking surface (take two grates out, drop in a single griddle). Now you can grill on one side with hotdogs etc, and make smash burgers on the griddle side. Or if you need the full cooking surface as a griddle, then you just buy two half griddles.
Love the chicken drum hanger gadget. I met Dan, whom I believe works in R&D or Product Development at Oklahoma Joe last month at the HPB Expo in New Orleans. Really cool guy. To be honest, out of all the wood pellet grills that I saw there this one really stood out to me the most. Dan said this grill would not be out until Summer of 2020 though but I see that people already own it. The grill that was on display at the show had metal shelves going around the front and side of the grill but I don't see anyone with that setup. Give me a deal if I purchase both the Bronco Pro and the Rider Deluxe. I want both.
Wish I could send a picture of it. I took a piece of copper pipe about the same diameter as the towel bar and smashed the ends flat. Drilled a hole in each end and took the back leg bolts out then reinstalled with the pipe. Ordered extra tool hooks and now I have 4 hooks to hang the racks I’m not using under the grill. The extra rack storage is awesome!
I just got a new Oklahoma Joe Highland and it has (what looks like) these flex rack holders in the back of the grill. Is this the same thing? I just bought mine Saturday 1/3/24 and was told this was the most recent / up-to-date model. I can't find any info on what the brackets are for until I stumbled upon this video
Please just ship your grills with the flex rack system and get rid of the 2 huge racks. I did a big cook for the first time yesterday and i like to remove the grates and clean them. The huge racks are a pain to scrub and clean. I plan on ordering the flex racks as they are small enough where i can wash them in the dishwasher.
Hey, Chris. Last month we offered the Flex Rack System and other accessories as free gifts with the Rider 600, so we think this is a great idea. We will share your feedback with our sales team.
@@OklahomaJoesSmokers I bought mine April of 2020, love it, just wished out would have came with the flex rack. And also I had to replace the heading element in mine. Seems like the elements don't really last long is what I've found out
Any chance you can make available a second full size rack...maybe ship new smokers with one full size rack and one half rack for cooking flexibility. Thanks
Great idea. We're running a sale right now (that ends today, 4/30), where you get gifts with purchase of a Rider 600. It comes with the Rider Pellet Grill Cover, Rib Flex Rack, Multi-Purpose Flex Rack, Drumstick & Pepper Flex Rack, and a bag of All-Natural Wood Pellets. We'll pass along your idea about the second full size rack to our Product Team.
@@OklahomaJoesSmokers I agree that a deeper wire rack would be a great option. The lower grate is too hot for low and slow so I always have to use the racks with a water pan. In addition try to fix the pit temp being 25-50 degrees hotter than the set point issue.
If @Oklahoma Joe's Smokers creates a full size rack for the flex system I will buy a Rider DLX. Temps can be managed with water pans, adjusting the stacks, and raising the food above the main grilling service. Hence the need for another full size rack. This thing is so close to getting it right at a great price point. The only other things I'd like to see in a "version 2" is a larger pellet hopper for those all night cooks and maybe a longer/bigger cooking chamber. Perhaps I'll save the duckets for a Version 2 as OJ's seems to listen to what their customers want.
No need to choose one. Our Rider Pellet Grills are a great addition to your arsenal. We put a lot of thought into creating products that have unique feature sets and performance, so they always complement, never replace each other.
Hi Michael, the Bronco Drum Smoker comes with a cooking grate and meat hangers that enable a custom smoking setup. The meat hangers can hold up to 9 racks of ribs at once.
I'm not going to lie I fell in love with that girl soon as I saw it and it followed me out the store so I had to pay for it cuz it jumped in my car and I took it home I'm about to have fun tomorrow when I get off work and put it together the only thing that is missing is a rotisserie can you imagine getting that smoke flavor in a rotisserie chicken or rib or turkey oh my God you make a fat guy cry but other than that I'm looking forward to finding out all the things I can do and what would be the best pellet mix so I'll be looking out for you guys thanks bye
This sells me on making the DLX my next pellet grill
Please make a wok for the Rider DLX!! Take my money!!

Please consider a video on cleaning the Rider DLX.
That's a great idea. Stay tuned.

It needs a shelf on the front like the Longhorn offset has.
will these work with the new gravity smoker?

Interesting with all these accessories a person might only need one cooker!!

Love the DLX! Excellent grill.
The deep dish would be great for deep dish pizza, and the griddle for thin crust.
Exactly. The griddle is great for breakfast too.
Would be great vid you included instructions on how to install it. Bought it for a longhorn no instructions
The griddle pan should have a grease hole that can be positioned to drain out into the bucket.
Hello from Italy, Naples does your Joe’s Rider DLX required electricity and if so US or European power? Senior chief Brannon living abroad
Can the flex rack be welded to the longhorn?
Yeah, not sure about this one.
Curious to know if the brackets are sold separately. Could maybe buy a set and fabricate onto your Longhorn.
I'd like one or the other of the griddle pans to use as a flat top on my weber kettle. Could you tell me how thick the carbon steel is?
Hey, Gordon. Here are the dimensions, 19 x 1.25 x 19.
Do they make a rib rack for the Oklahoma barrel smoker

Dude does reverse longhorn has the rack
Need a Rotisserie set-up
Pizza stone in the works?
This is a great idea to consider.
@@OklahomaJoesSmokers i will gladly be a product tester.
Or a pizza oven attachment would be cool too
plot twist: phil swift made this
