For me i think an aspect that attracted me to LSH character is the way he says his lines with just the right amount of micro facial expression without over doing it. His lines were created for intonation and tone and emphasis of certain words. he should try theater too. i bet he would be great. he already has stage presence.
They totally made sense, it's probably the first time I'm completely satisfied with a second couple ending because it just made so much sense. She outgrew Hyun Kyu and found someone who would help her grow more into the person she wanted to become. Hyun Kyu kept her stagnant and it was suffocating to watch, but with Joo Ik she was showing new sides of her and finally processing her own feelings and thoughts outside of who she was when Hyun Kyu left because she was stuck being that Ji Na from that time for so long. All the actors did so well in developing these characters and making this story so engaging.
This is probably THE edit. It touched on all the important scenes, the progressions, the lines, everything. I was waiting for it and I loved every second of it. And, the song choice ❤❤❤

I really love it that they ended up together, although to be fair, it was kinda obvious from the start who she was gonna choose. XD The hint is "follow the female character's feelings and not who deserved her best". In this happy case, it was both he deserved her most and she loved / chose him. He was obviously still her choice, even when she was confused. Confused, confused, but her choice seemed to wander more clearly in a direction. Seemed to me like she had already made up her mind when she re-encountered Cha Joo Ik again, face to face - and this was before she even re-encountered her first love again face to face. So.. Bonus is both the actors complemented each other's looks, they look really nice together, both so tall and eye-catching. Kudos to LSH for the minimal emotion expressed - his character really had 100% of the time, all the right answers. I'm in awe of the writers for having to nail each and every of LSH's character's lines. But all those perfect answers could have ended up being awkwardly delivered - thankfully, it was just the right amount of emotion so as not to feel any cringe, but instead it gives the viewers a pleasant show, I was smiling so brightly throughout their scenes. XD It's a pity they were just second leads. Before even reaching the half of the show, I started skipping to only their scenes. XD Na Ji Na and Cha Joo Ik are really perfect for each other.

They really were the IT couple, visual wise is wonderful T_T They're both so tall too! I'm so glad that they were the endgame tbh, although their romance plot was a tad bit slow and slightly uncalled for? (Don't get me wrong, I love them! I just can't find the scene or timing where CJI fell for NJN, he kept on saying from the start...from the start when? When he helped texted NJN for LHK or when he saw her crying in front of the apartment?)
Unfortunately they are the secondary couple and the screen time is so short that you can't go deeper into the story, but it was beautiful anyway, I hope they can do another drama together and can have a lot of screen time and a great story.
@Venus Park They hardly had anytime to really explore the characters although they were some hints here and there. Someone said something on twitter that made sense. 1. He started to feel bad for her /unknowingly starting to have feelings for her all the months he saw Jina waiting for HK outside his place. Remember that in the rain scene he tells her everyone in the neighbourhood knows she's crying over the guy on 8th floor. This shows it wasn't a one time thing. He then asks her does she like him that much?? You can clearly see that he was frustrated with her because she had been there for awhile and she had been doing this somewhat frequently. However he also felt sad for her.Then he kissed her and it clearly stayed with him. When he meets her again he seems concerned for her just as he was back then. He felt bad that she was still stuck on HK and that it was ruining her writing. Again him feeling sad for her pushed him into helping her. 2. What's interesting is even within the story Jooik didn't really realised he had developed feelings for her. In a way we were discovering with him. HK tells him that he acts first and it takes time for his brain to process things. HK said this because he saw how Jooik was with Jina when he saw them outside the coffee shop. This observation from HK is telling and it showed us that despite the fact that Jooik thought he was only helping her because he felt she had potential to be a better writer he had feelings for for her. You can also see Jooik thinking about what HK said and this is also what leads him to want to tell Jina about his relationship with HK. There is so many moments like this throughout the drama. 3. In the "from beginning scene" Jooik says that he himself didn't understand his actions that day but looking back he must had feelings for her since he saw her crying. He thought it was just out of pity but it was probably more. Clearly seeing her sad and crying for a man who wasn't willing to face her is what started everything. The beginning is there and he says as much to HK when they had their talk.

He didn’t realize that all those things he did wasn’t only purely to help her improve her writing but it was like a treat to him, to spend more time with her. Both actually attracted to e/o since the first kiss but didn’t know until later on. I mean she was a little clingy to him.
Actually CJI already liked her when he was LHK tutor. This us how he got to see NJN hurt by LHK everytime. So when he says from the beginning it is actually from the beginning.

I really love it that they ended up together, although to be fair, it was kinda obvious from the start who she was gonna choose. XD The hint is "follow the female character's feelings and not who deserved her best". In this happy case, it was both he deserved her most and she loved / chose him. He was obviously still her choice, even when she was confused. Confused, confused, but her choice seemed to wander more clearly in a direction. Seemed to me like she had already made up her mind when she re-encountered Cha Joo Ik again, face to face - and this was before she even re-encountered her first love again face to face. So..
Bonus is both the actors complemented each other's looks, they look really nice together, both so tall and eye-catching.
Kudos to LSH for the minimal emotion expressed - his character really had 100% of the time, all the right answers. I'm in awe of the writers for having to nail each and every of LSH's character's lines. But all those perfect answers could have ended up being awkwardly delivered - thankfully, it was just the right amount of emotion so as not to feel any cringe, but instead it gives the viewers a pleasant show, I was smiling so brightly throughout their scenes. XD
It's a pity they were just second leads. Before even reaching the half of the show, I started skipping to only their scenes. XD
Na Ji Na and Cha Joo Ik are really perfect for each other.

They really were the IT couple, visual wise is wonderful T_T They're both so tall too! I'm so glad that they were the endgame tbh, although their romance plot was a tad bit slow and slightly uncalled for? (Don't get me wrong, I love them! I just can't find the scene or timing where CJI fell for NJN, he kept on saying from the start...from the start when? When he helped texted NJN for LHK or when he saw her crying in front of the apartment?)
Unfortunately they are the secondary couple and the screen time is so short that you can't go deeper into the story, but it was beautiful anyway, I hope they can do another drama together and can have a lot of screen time and a great story.

They hardly had anytime to really explore the characters although they were some hints here and there. Someone said something on twitter that made sense.
1. He started to feel bad for her /unknowingly starting to have feelings for her all the months he saw Jina waiting for HK outside his place.
Remember that in the rain scene he tells her everyone in the neighbourhood knows she's crying over the guy on 8th floor. This shows it wasn't a one time thing.
He then asks her does she like him that much??
You can clearly see that he was frustrated with her because she had been there for awhile and she had been doing this somewhat frequently. However he also felt sad for her.Then he kissed her and it clearly stayed with him.
When he meets her again he seems concerned for her just as he was back then. He felt bad that she was still stuck on HK and that it was ruining her writing. Again him feeling sad for her pushed him into helping her.
2. What's interesting is even within the story Jooik didn't really realised he had developed feelings for her.
In a way we were discovering with him.
HK tells him that he acts first and it takes time for his brain to process things. HK said this because he saw how Jooik was with Jina when he saw them outside the coffee shop.
This observation from HK is telling and it showed us that despite the fact that Jooik thought he was only helping her because he felt she had potential to be a better writer he had feelings for for her.
You can also see Jooik thinking about what HK said and this is also what leads him to want to tell Jina about his relationship with HK.
There is so many moments like this throughout the drama.
3. In the "from beginning scene"
Jooik says that he himself didn't understand his actions that day but looking back he must had feelings for her since he saw her crying.
He thought it was just out of pity but it was probably more.
Clearly seeing her sad and crying for a man who wasn't willing to face her is what started everything.
The beginning is there and he says as much to HK when they had their talk.

He didn’t realize that all those things he did wasn’t only purely to help her improve her writing but it was like a treat to him, to spend more time with her. Both actually attracted to e/o since the first kiss but didn’t know until later on. I mean she was a little clingy to him.
Actually CJI already liked her when he was LHK tutor. This us how he got to see NJN hurt by LHK everytime. So when he says from the beginning it is actually from the beginning.
Glad i saw this video , i'm only in ep. 8 now and i'm on the edge of skipping and just watch the last ep coz i was dying from curiosity who she ended up and really hoping that they would end up together 😍
They have a beautiful journey to the end, it's worth keeping watching ❤️
