I have all the necessary Tools for this job, also a special one to push out the headset rings with a spread end, plus a set to mount the new set, but I like to see it done first! I have a new Joseph Kuosac head set and a - ceramic set of balls, just for the fun of it. I And I have changed wedge and bolt to titanium, as the bolt in top by the handlebar. Presently my now much former than 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton with mudguards (as a Rainy Dane I never leave home without them!), weighs 8,5 kilo! Finn. Denmark 😄
Hi, I may not get your question correctly. But no matter what speed your Brompton is, the chain and sprocket are on the right side. So the rear wheel is relatively more to the left side of the fork instead. Presuming you are looking from behind the bike to the front.

Nicely done sir - salute
Finally, somebody with a torque wrench!
This would have been easier to see if all the black parts had been shown against a background that was not also black.
Will take note in future video. Thank you for the comments.

The headset is standard 1 inch threaded? With 26.4 mm crown race diameter?
For Brompton, it is 1 1/8" threaded, 29.8mm crown race diameter. For the Tange headset I used, it is 30mm yet fit tightly on the fork.
Great tutorial video! Any improvement compare to original brompton headset? Thanks
Not really in term of performance, however, my original headset getting rusty. This new headset really makes a difference in aesthetic value.
