Did this to my wraith and submerged it. Was fun but appearantly the stock reciever box is not waterproof as claimed. Got water in the receiver and squeezing water from the foams was not fun. A great truck it is though!

Medic, I'm convinced on the wraith now. Gonna pick up the RTR. Gotta a quick list of what you'd switch out right away? I'm gonna do about the same stuff that you have done in this vid. First on the list will be a 7955tg.... Good job!
The Axial Wraith was designed to be a "rock Racer" not a "Crawler"... the Steering geometry is designed for high speed, not low speed with maximum steering angle like a crawler would have. Also note the stock Servo AS-2 Servo, 130oz servo @6.0volt - Metal Gear that comes with the RTR (assuming you didn't get the kit) is really weak when compared to a rock crawler servo. High torque servos usually come with an aluminum servo horn. My guess is you are over torquing your steering for crawling.
wow... great vid im stunned! and idk if you upgraded your transmission yet but think a summit trans would be awesome then you could run emaxx drivlines :P but i was wondering if you did upgrade what to?
@djmedic2008 I do, it's not horrible but I just bought it as a slow speed basher, got tired of breaking my shelf queens and needed a cheap beater that would be cheap to fix, thankfully I haven't found anything on it yet that isn't plastic lol but anyways yes I do notice torque twist, especially at softer suspension settings.

hey mate just a question, ive got a wraith with the novak timbuk2 13.5t combo and its slow and when i dont back the throttle off its like the diff gears chatter and it just twitches really bad and idk what to do to fix it,, any ideas ??
can someone tell me what size tamiya connector i need to get on my battery from max amps i have just the regular connector that comes with an axial scx10 TR Please respond someone
Them.you'll be surprised at how well it works, I was after the first time I used it and didn't get my ass bit up from horse flys and mosquito's. Hope this helped you defend yourself against the bugs come spring to fall.

Next time you go out when there is bugs around take some fabric softener sheets with you and rub on skin and keep one in a pocket.
Speaking of safari.... medic have you ever tried the Venom Safari Creeper?
But I think at that 2:00 min mark it would need to be waterproofed, good you did but that's way extreme to what I will be doing, sort of...

What's a good technique to get rid of torque twist in a stock wraith?
This is prob a newb question but why such powerful batteries but "slowish motors". compared to a 3.5 for example.
