- The Emirates A380 is already one of the most sought-after travel experiences in the skies, and now we’ve made it even better. Emirates’ highly-anticipated premium economy cabin offers 56 seats in a 2-4-2 cabin layout.
With a generous pitch of up to 40-inches, Emirates’ premium economy seat reclines 8 inches into a comfortable cradle position with ample room to stretch out. Covered in cream-coloured anti-stain leather with stitching details and a wood panel finishing similar to Business Class, each seat is designed to provide optimal comfort and support with 6-way adjustable headrests, calf rests and footrests.
Each seat has a 13.3” screen, one of the largest in its class, to enjoy the unmatched array of music, movies, TV, news and other content on Emirates’ award-winning ice.
Customers will also find thoughtful touches including easily accessible in-seat charging points, a wide dining table and side cocktail table.
While others cut back, Emirates is working hard to restore the products and services that we’ve had to suspend or adjust due to pandemic precautions, and introduce new offerings and enhancements.

That's hardly the case. Recliner style premium economy seats have been in the market for decades. I was expecting EK to bring a revolutionary product, but it's not that impressive.

"Getting upgraded" is one of the most beautiful experiences, you can have for free on a holiday-trip! - Thank you EMIRATES for having upgraded me already many times. - It's like a heart-attack - just the other way around. :-) Sitting inside the Departure-Gate, still thinking about anything.... Suddenly they announce my name... "Mr. Martin Hoefling - please come to the counter!" - Oh - oh, what's wrong? "Sir is it okay for you, to have a window-seat in Business-Class?" On a 10-hours-flight 777 back from Phlippines! On TWO consecutive 7-hours-flights (380) back from Bangkok. Tears in my eyes - and so thankful to Emirates! :-)

@@AhrensburgTV i think it happens when economy is full and they need an extra space or something. It only happens to people flying alone who get upgraded i think, not sure, but must have been a great time for sure haha!

Been decades since European carriers have been the benchmark. Might as well throw in comparisons with South American and African carriers while you’re at it....
But it’s fairly easy to go and look for PE products online. This is amongst the most common PE seats.
Eh, it’s just a standard Premium Economy Seat but obviously dressed up to fit the Emirates brand. There are better products out there.

I love Emirates
For me this is a dream becoming true. Long awaited. Last few years all my long haul flights were in PE but with other airlines and the comfort is twice (if not more) as good compared to the Economy Class. Of course Business is still the top but honestly for those that can't afford premium cabins, this is a game changer.

First time flying emirates was this year in january from cairo to KL and its love at first sight especially the beauty of the skies the a380 cant wait to fligh again esprcially on those premium economies next year.

The seat is RECARO PL3530, which is already available on some other airlines, like China Southern and Vistara. The width, length, recline depth, no of seats per row, are identical to SQ and Eva Air. Analysts were expecting a real breakthrough, the staggered seating --> "A completely different seat, manufactured by HAECO. Why? Back in 2019, HAECO announced that the launch customer for the “Eclipse Cabin” would be a Middle Eastern airline that will begin flying the cabins in 2020"

Very surprised that Emirates is even keeping the 380s flying! The best aircraft I have ever experienced.
They're pretty much the only airline with both the geography and economies of scale to make a hub and spoke system work with such large aircraft. They bet big on the A380 and have been rewarded. I've flown UK to Australia with them 8 times and it was fairly reasonably priced.
I absolutely love Emirates and their A380 especially. Emirates delivers great service and compared to other airlines you get much more space, and actual working screens haha and all of that for a good price.
The a380 is probably either the best or in the top 3 best planes for comfort on long haul flights. It is the most spacious, it is relatively quiet and in general a good plane however they are also very fuel costly, I’m surprised they still use them

Ok but this means that they'll be wider than business class; I hate to say it but EK's business is really starting to slip; the 777 product leaves multiple seats without direct aisle access, and the A380 product has seats 18.5' wide, narrower than the premium economy seats! (I don't know the premium seat width but it's on the main deck in 2-4-2, and the business, if you compress the rows is on the upper deck, also in a 2-4-2; if the upper deck is narrower than the main deck, which it is, business is narrower than premium???)
Yea, emirates Economy and First are awesome and really one of the best if not the best. Bussiness class, not so much.

The Emirates style is there absolutely and in appearance it’s very much like a regional business/first class flight on an A320/B737 flight. There is apparently 40” of pitch but this may be just in the front row. If this is for all rows then this is absolutely a product I want to experience. Although the pricing needs to be realistic as well.
This will be perfect for those long haul Emirates flights of 13-14 hours + ..... let’s just hope it is more closer to the price of economy than it is to business

Going from NY to Perth, AU and back in 2014 via the A380 and 777 with Emirates was a WONDERFUL experience in ECONOMY class although the total flight time each way was 24 hours. If the flight is 20 to 30% more for Premium Economy, I'll take it.

I’m sorry, but compared to Cathay Pacific, ANA and Singapore airlines these seats are the exactly the same thing, with a different design, and it’s way behind JAL’s premium economy. JAL, ANA, Cathay Pacific>Emirates since forever
@@HS-PGX ANA's prem ec seats are HARD! Singapore are OK but EK looks a more comfortable experience. And EK is the only reasonable way to fly from Perth to Europe on Prem ec the WHOLE way.
@@paulbats6996 well... Cathay is also good as well. You could fly Qantas to London then connect onto BA for a short intra-Europe flight... unless you’re flying straight to London. I hear Qantas’ new premium economy is pretty good. I myself have only done Austrian Airlines and EVA recently and must say that Austrian is very good. Especially with the catering. EK must firstly improve their systemwide offering, ie the product on the 777 especially their business class.

I personally think that this product will do extremely well because it is in between well because it gives economy passengers a little more luxury.
