This is probably the first honest taste of not just Elm on the server, but Elm-as-the-whole-thing-at-once and I can't wait to use this to put wheels on my toy projects faster. I'm a hobby programmer and the projects I make very rarely NEED a backend, so every time it comes up I spend half a day trying to relearn Yesod or some other Haskell framework, but with something like Lamdera the process might be absurdly easy by comparison.

maybe try F#? With elmish you pretty much have elm (well, the compiler messages are not as nice), you can share models between fornt and back end etc

I've no problem with Lambdara being commercial but closed source is never an option for us when we decide to code a system. Do you have a license that we can pay for that gets us full access to the code and supports the ability to offer pull requests?

This is interesting, I wonder if this kind of architecture was created before

This is really exciting! Although I hope the same ideas will find their way into an open source project somehow!

Interestingly Oak was the original name for Java. That said, Oak sounds amazing incredible. We definitely need better languages for development of cryptoledgers. Google searches come up with nothing. Got any more details?

    Too bad it's proprietary.
