This fixed my washer issue! It was throwing a SE error and stopping before completing a wash. Another telling issue was it was taking longer to run a particular wash. For example, we were delegated to running Quick Wash because even though a QW was set for 26 minutes, it would take 45+ minutes to run(due to the draining issue!). So if you’re seeing that your washes are taking longer than expected, check your drain filter. Much Thanks!! 🙏🏽

BTW, there’s a note on the filter door that states you should clean the filter out every 2 months. My GF had never cleaned it out in the 5 years that she owned the washer😄🤦🏽‍♂️

Do you have any idea why this model wouldn't want to start washing?!

I have a question. Samsung front washer. The original problem was that the washer was full of foreign substances such as sand, so the drain did not work. After cleaning, I changed the drain pump and now the drain works well. However, a little bit of foreign matter still comes out. The problem is that the drain continues without stopping and doesn't go on to the next cycle. However, in test mode it works fine. Advice please.

Use a plumber snake thing with a claw and check the hose that connects to the filter at the bottom, I found a baby sock stuck in mine

What should I do if there is water in the machine please?

    • @DIYRepairsNow

You got to use a vacuum to get the water out or scoop the water out and then pre-prepare with towels when you remove the drain drain pump cover

@@J.cooper4x4 i bought a new one. The repairer suggested the water pump was gone and that would have a bit, so easier to buy a new one. It was 9 yrs old anyway.

How can there be even one Thumbs down?? Fix was exactly the problem. Tiny sock stuck in the filter. Have a bath mat or towel under the filter when you open it. There will be residual water that will flow out.

Calling out a repair person to fix this simple problem would have probably been around $100 considering what most of these crooks charge.

I did this and then we replaced the drain pump with a brand new one, and it still says ND and stops. I can use a bowl and manually drain it from down there and it will finish the load. Any guesses what's wrong with mine? It's 12 years old and has never given us any problems before. Please and thank you!

Lisa Westbrook if it’s not draining maybe one of your drain hoses is clogged it’s one hose that goes from the tub to the drain pump and another drain hose from your pump to the drain of the house

@@DIYRepairsNow We've blown out the one going out of the house, with a wet/dry vac. No clogs.
