Well sweetie....2 mistakes....platinum is actually cheaper than gold...the price increase is due to craftsmanship and labour because platinum is harder to work with and they have to use more of it basically 95% to be able to create jewelry while gold jewelry can be create at lower percentage from 8 carat to 24 carat...also you said yellow diamond are cheaper...also not true....this only apply to yellow TINTED colourless diamonds ....natural fancy vivid yellow diamonds are for example MUCH more expensive than white or colourless diamonds because they are really rare

Only 160 tons of platinum are mined annually, as opposed to 1,500 tons of gold. Also, platinum is more dense than gold, so the same ring will weigh significantly more in platinum than in gold Yes, in terms of colour , I should have said yellow tint in diamond instead of yellow diamond.
