This is by far the most excruciating opening I’ve ever seen. No commentary on played and a guy who looks like he is saving every wrapper as an heirloom.

@@coinretriever2996 I remember buying handfuls and handfuls of these packs when I was a kid ! Had a big wad of bubble gum in my mouth from shoving all of the gums in there as I opened each pack, and ended up with almost a complete set ! Its worn a bit as it was well loved but a set none the less as I filled out about 12 commons that I needed at various card shows in the 80's. Great times !!

Wow, what an incredible find opening a sealed case of 1975 Topps baseball cards! You never know what treasures may be waiting in packs that old. Seeing the cards come out of the wrapper for the first time in nearly 50 years is so exciting. The condition of the cards from this far back is really impressive - most look sharper than expected for their age. Pulling a George Brett rookie is a huge hit, even if it is a bit off-center. Brett was such a star and Hall of Famer, so getting his rookie at all from this era is awesome. I can't wait to see what else you pull in the remaining packs. Some other big rookie cards I'm hoping to see surfaces are Andre Dawson, Ryne Sandberg, and Wade Boggs. Maybe even a true gem like a Frank Robinson or Hank Aaron rookie? Keep documenting the rest of the box opening - I'm really enjoying following along with this time capsule from the 1970s being opened. Thanks for sharing this thrill with your viewers!

The rarity is in the sealed box, not the cards.! (!)....I cringed seeing that box opening. That was yes- WAS a keeper item that had lots of collectibility. Now you have a stack of '75 cards without any real rarity. Not worth what it originally was.

Never ever ever bye a sealed box. Open the box and put in sleeves immediately. I bought unopened box of 1993 Upperdeck in 2010. Opened them up and they were all stuck together (bricked). To make it worse they were all gold holograms. My 12k Roockie Derek Jeter was pulled with hundreds of tiny pieces of the back of the card stuck to his. Worthless. The whole damn box. Learned a valuable lesson.

Well finally I'm putting together my favorite set and one that has sentimental attachment to it.
Its The 1975 Set. This was the first year I started collecting at age 11. It started when I came home from School and my Mom had 3 packs of Cards sitting on the kitchen table. I asked who's they were? She said yours!
I never knew about Cards since I didn't collect them. But I opened them packs and immediately loved them. I ask her to take me to get more and she did. From then on all I wanted was to collect these cards. I collected from then on and never missed a year. I couldn't wait til the next season started to see what the cards looked like. My Parents would buy me 1 or 2 boxes from 76-79. I love my cards but loved Arcade games more at the age of 15-16 so I sold a medium size box of my 75-79s for 50.00 so I could play the Arcade Machines. I've been kicking myself ever since.
So within the past 3 weeks I went from having approximately 40 1975's to only needing around 120 or so to complete the set.
Its not a mint set but who cares its a decent set with a some fair to good cards. But I'm not worried about having a mint set, I want one that is fair, good to VG so I can look at it and reflect back to when I pulled some of these cards from packs as an 11 year old kid.
So with this being said I was wondering if anyone would have the remaining ones I need to help me accomplish finishing my dream set.
Yes most of what I need are the top cards. Brett, Yount, Rookies, Mantle MVPs and some commons. I will edit this post with the numbers I need tomorrow to see what I can find in the fair-vg range.

Such a great set! One of Topps' best up there with 52, 55, 68, and 80. That was a really solid purchase and BBCE is very reputable. Got an unopened 80's Topps Wax from them recently. Not sure when I will box break.

It's pretty cool you got a Rick Monday in the first pack, was he the player known for saving the American Flag from demonstrators?

Key cards of four Hall of Famers, Robin Yount (#223), George Brett (#228), Gary Carter, (#620) and Jim Rice (#616), as well as two perennial All-Stars, Keith Hernandez (#623) and Fred Lynn (#622). Notice how careful he is with the wrappers. This allows for the opportunity for repackaging of commons or for reselling your "doubles". Also be sure to leave your gum card intact. 9:17 as one of them has to go back in the pack. Leaving the gum on the card, like you see here, is the way to go. And if it happens to a card you don't care about, like what you see at 11:36 ... that's a win. Be sure to keep them in a separate pile.
