To anyone having fear having to do this surgery: I got it done and it was a piece of cake. I had no easy teeth to remove, the two teeth in my lower jaw were laying horizontally and had to be removed surgically. During the surgery I had no pain and discomfort whatsoever and after four days post-op I had little to no swelling left. I had no pain afterwards and no discomfort. Get yourself a doctor you trust and who has good reviews and it will all be over in no time.
@@hzxo2943it’s fine. The only problem is that the holes, even though I had sutures, didn’t fully close. So naturally food gets stuck back there but if I rinse out my mouth after eating there’s no problem. Looking back, everything about the extraction was more than manageable. Sure it was frustrating at times because i couldn’t eat proper food for a week but other than that…easy.
Thats would be a big mistake.... because you dont have to touch the lingual side of the bone with the drill under the gum in this way.... otherwise you can damage the lingual nerve....
Hey I’ve got some really great news to share with you, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on a cross and resurrected on the third day so you may all have eternal life. If you believe and repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Him as you would a parachute jumping off a plane at 25000 feet up in the air, He will give you eternal life in heaven as a free gift and I promise you, He will change your life forever as He did mine. He is the ONLY way to heaven and He loves you all. Please think deeply about this with urgency because this is your eternal life and soul, you don’t know when you could die, meaning you could die at any moment, so please consider this with all your heart. If anyone tells you that Jesus isn’t the only way, they are lying to you and they don’t care about your future..
If you’re worried about this, don’t be! I’ve had all 4 removed at once and they were super impacted. Surgeons perform this so many times they could do it in their sleep. I recommend going for the laughing gas, and not general anesthesia since it’s cheaper and doesn’t have as much complications. Surgery lasted 30 minutes and felt like 5, and the worst part was the needle. The recovery lasted about a couple weeks.Took about 8 months for the bone to regenerate. My life has been so much better, being able to wake up in the morning without horrible pain.
Thank you it just happened to me this morning and it was over so fast I was scared and shocked how fast but now I'm in pain so I see it's gonna be some time to heal
1 of my Wisdom Tooth was like this and required this kind of extraction, with local anesthesia the pain was 0/10, no pain at all, only a tiny bit when they do the anesthesia itself 2/10 and after that you are good. The only thing that you will feel is pressure, a lot of it, my jaw got numb because it forces you to keep it wide open for a longer period of time but there is nothing to be afraid of. They did sew it up after and asked me to go back after 1 week to remove the thread with which they sew the hole. I had no swelling at all, and maybe the first 2-3 days were a bit difficult because you cannot eat but after that you can slowly eat again.
@@markjackson1989 Yeah, it happened to me once too, I went to the local dentist and they had to remove a milk tooth, and when they applied the anesthesia, they didn't hit where they needed to, they tried again and still didn't hit, until the 3rd where they succeeded, I could no longer feel the face, it was through the face near the mandible and was annoyingly bad
For anyone getting this surgery and having anxiety about it: I got this surgery a week ago on all 4 wisdom teeth and it went really well. I got IV sedation so the surgery was basically just a nice short nap for me. I was asleep the whole time and felt nothing. The only side effect from the sedatives was dizziness that only lasted about half an hour. The pain and swelling was the worst on the 2nd day but mostly went away after that. Prescription Ibuprofen took care of the pain and the swelling went away with some help from a bag of frozen vegetables that I held to my cheeks. My surgeon was really great too, he talked to me about school and even called me the day after the surgery to make sure I was okay. And I got to eat lots of ice cream all week :)
These comments are really helping me as I have horrible horrible anxiety. I am 22 I have an extremely small mouth and just finished antibiotics for an infection in my wisdom tooth on the top left that had started poking through the gums. One dentist trip later I have been referred to an oral surgeon to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed (one is growing in completely horizontal and the other 3 diagonally). My consultation is in about 16 days and I couldn't be more terrified. Both of the surgery, the pain and the fact that I am afraid I won't wake up from anesthetic. But to see so many people say it's not as bad helps me. Thank you. Cause I am terrified ;;
Mine got removed yesterday both left upper wisdom tooth and left lower wisdom tooth. I was given local anesthesia. While giving anesthesia the dentist told me to breath slowly and I was calm because it was my 2nd time in clinic to get operated. The first time was my root canal after that 1st visit all my fear was gone. After getting anesthesia u will not feel anything. Btw i am also 22. I wish you good luck.
Got 7 teeth removed 4 days ago. 5 wisdom and 2 back molars. I have really bad anxiety when it comes to stuff like this. They used general anesthesia. If that is what happens to you I promise it doesn’t hurt and that it will be the best nap you have ever taken! Just make sure you follow the aftercare instructions! My oral surgeon stitched up my wounds and honestly today I haven’t been in pain. Make sure to use ice packs because they will be your best friend! You got this!!!
i have exactly the same wisdom teeth as you - 3 diagonal and 1 horizontal, one diagonal is already piercing my gum on the upper left side. i, also, have a small mouth. i am taking my antibiotics and have my procedure scheduled in 2 days, on wednesday. i am 25 years old. i have immense anxiety and a needle phobia to boot, sometimes i lose my appetite altogether, just thinking about the day to come. that being said; we're going to be okay, i know we will ❤️🩹
Had my teeth removed yesterday, they gave me laughing gas before the surgery to calm me down and then that was the last thing I remembered until I was in the car on my way home. Two things to note, the oxy pain meds they give you can make you nauseous if you don’t eat or drink any mush after surgery. Secondly I had my bottom lip numbed and on my first sip of water I choked not realizing the water made it over my bottom lip lol.
i had mine removed today! once the iv sedation kicked in, the hour came and went by so quickly, i barely felt a thing. it's definitely sore now, but i can cope. good luck 💗
For anyone worrying about this surgery, i had it done on two teeth 2 months ago. They only numbed my gums, so i was still awake. There is almost 0 pain during the surgery, but there is a lot of pressure. Even after the surgery i had very little pain, maybe a 2/10, because of the medication. It was annoying to try and eat however.
@@Nothingness687 Only about 20 minutes for me. 10 minutes to make anesthetic work and 10 minutes to deal with it. Biggest discomfort not the procedure itself but afterwards because there is a wound and its healing and uncomfortable.
For those who fear wisdom teeth extraction in general, it really isn't as bad as it seems. I've gotten my two bottom one removed a few months ago, they were at about a 45 degree angle facing the adjacent teeth. First I was put in a room and given the numbing gas, later the dentists came in and gave me injected anesthesia, that part hurt a bit but only for a second or two. Minutes later the dentists came in to do the procedure, everything was completely painless except for the pulling of the tooth, but just like the anesthesia it only hurt for a few short seconds. Then I was closed up with sutures that dissolve in less than a month. They gave me an ice pack as the anesthesia only last about an hour or so. As the anesthesia goes away it still doesn't hurt that much, while I hold the ice pack to my face my dad went to the pharmacy to pick up prescription pain relief and anti -infection. Recovery last about two weeks and I'd say the worst of it are days 1-3 but they aren't that bad when I look back. I'll probably have to get the top teeth within a few months so that'll be fun. Just felt like sharing as others did. Also, word of advice, when washing the closed wounds don't put the water spay in the wounds or you'll get an infection, my mom, and Markiplier funnily enough, learned that the hard way.
Yeah, it doesn't hurt, unless you get something like one of mine where a nerve coiled around the roots. Not only was anesthesia completely ineffective, the nerve was damaged so like 1/5 of my tongue is still paralyzed over 2 years after the procedure. So yeah, sometimes it's quick and painless, sometimes it's long and painful.
@@DeFiDebbie This wasn't even the worst one, the worst one started growing sideways, the bleeding was so bad that the bib they put on me was soaked in blood and the wound bled for like 4 days after it was stitched up, and during the operation they discovered that one of the roots has grown into my jaw, so they had to carefully chisel around it and remove it from my jaw. Oh, and the anesthetic didn't work there, so that was "fun". Both of these took over an hour
It’s been over 2 weeks since I got my wisdom teeth removed, easy procedure, it was over before I knew it. I haven’t been in any pain after the procedure, just slight soreness and tenderness. Just take your medication on time, ice your face to reduce swelling 15 minutes on, 15 minutes off, and just enjoy soft foods such as ice cream and puddings during the recovery process :)
@@Rifkar122I wasn’t put to sleep, they did put me laughing gas however first, which helps ease the nerves before they numbed my mouth. After about 20-30 minutes, they did the procedure to make sure my mouth was fully numbed.
@@cosmapereira3116 I went to Spencer and dental, the teeth pulling is a much easier process than the cutting. Just the pressure and might hear some cracking, but as long as you don’t feel pain, they are doing you right
Just got mine done yesterday and was freaking out, your video helped a lot. For those who are nervous, to be honest the expectation is 100% worse than the actual procedure and the recovery. I was told day 2 is the worst, but it is ok, just like if you hurt your mouth badly, or if you ever got your wisdom teeth infected, that’s the same feeling. it’s bearable and with painkillers it’s very manageable, you can chill. I was lucky with the procedure and it only took 20 minutes (local anaesthetic) for all four teeth as mine had all come out and it was just a case of pulling them out, no stitches. The injection is the worst part, but even then it’s only seconds and bearable, exactly the same as when they do injection for fillings. It’s a bit weird when they pull the lower teeth out, I was a bit afraid for my jaw, but I trusted the professionals. They held my head in place as they had to pull hard but you don’t actually feel the pain while they’re doing it. Don’t stress and go there confidently, if you need to get it done, just get it over with ❤
Hi, Can I ask you a question? According to your Doctor, how many days or months that you need to take a rest?! Is it a month or just days?! THAN YOU in advance. I'm planning to pa remove my wisdom tooth but I am at work.
@@lonesurvivor9039 I was told to rest for a day, but they told me I could go for a walk if I wanted to. They said to avoid strenuous exercise for 7 days and that they recommend taking a day or two off work. I took 2 full days after the procedure and could work in a light regime on day 3, I felt a big groggy in the first 5 days.
@@larrasket I never went in a proper sleep over, but it seems the joke implies that usually the person who sleep first in a sleep over will get pranked by the other.
I remember the day my wisdom tooth was pulled. It was done by a female student who was still studying at the university and she told me she'd be graduating very soon. She gave me a dose of something to numb my gums and started poking my tooth. She asked if I could feel the poking and I said Yes. She proceeded to give me a 2nd dose and repeated the question. Now my gums were fully numb and she began with the extraction. I remember hearing crunching noises and she was pulling my tooth out in small pieces. When the procedure was done, she gave me a glass of orange juice I think and I said Thanks. It was very nice of her to give me refreshments. I've never had a dentist do that before. I hope she is still pulling out people's teeth.
Yeah crunching noise was truamtazing esp if doctor used pliers kind of thing to pull your teeth bcoz it's wisdom tooth, but nevertheless the after math is good No surgical needed just normal procedure, but it's important for them to really see the exact position so they always recommend to Xray .
@@oliverwilliam6931Whats wrong with a female dentist preforming surgery? The surgeon for my extraction was female and she did an amazing job, barely had any swelling after. You must be out of your mind if you think female dentists preform worst than male dentists.
For anyone doing local anesthesia and is nervous, I did this yesterday and it was easier than I expected! Focus on deep breathing, relax your body (I focused on relaxing my shoulders away from my neck), and the team I had was excellent at explaining what they were doing. The hardest part was getting the numbing shots, but it wasn’t even that bad. After that, it was so easy. You got this! ❤️🦷
@@Selenerorsomething yeah I had the same experience only the numbing needle was painful, I held my breath which I knew I wasn't supposed to be doing 😂😂
When my sister and I were in high school, we had our wisdom teeth out at the same time, but my sister had to go back a second time several years later to get the upper wisdom teeth removed whereas I had all four of mine out at the same time. We both went under anesthesia and didn't feel a thing. Recovery was the longest/hardest part. We ate virtually nothing but Jell-o for about a week or so as our wounds healed. But in the end, it was worth it and glad we got it done when we did. There's nothing to it. To those undergoing it soon, the best of luck to you!
I had this surgery recently. For anyone anxious or worried about it, don't be. I was nervous too, it was not bad at all. Recovery is very fast and I feel so much better after it. Everything is going to go perfectly, keep your head up!
I love how majority of all these comments are positive messages and their story about this procedure. I watched not because I was anxious, but feeling left out slightly as I was born with 0 wisdom teeth. I wondered what it was like, and had to watch.
I'm 24 years old, have had one impacted wisdom tooth surgically removed on local anesthesia at 21 years old and I will probably be close to 30 before I have them all out.
I am 17 i started getting 2 of my wisdom teeth and i went to dentist to check he said me to get a X RAY and i was very scared. Then the X RAY showed that i will be getting all 4 wisdom teeth but all of them are straight as of now and he told me not to worry BUT LET'S SEE I AM STILL SCARED I just want to know if we can keep our wisdom teeth if they are harmless for rest of my life????
@@anbailey319no need to remove them if they are growing in fine. Most peoples mouths cannot fit all the teeth and problems can arise. Just ask your dentist your options.
I just got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed 3 hours ago. I got IV sedation and apparently I fell asleep (I don’t remember being asleep), and it seriously felt like only 2 minutes flew by. I have no recollection during the surgery which apparently lasted an hour and I felt no pain. Right now I’m feeling minimal to mild pain but not too much and the anesthesia is wearing off. I took prescribed medications an hour ago though so that may be helping. I do have bleeding so I have gauze in my mouth. It’s honestly not as scary as I imagined it to be. Make sure to find a good and reputable dentist because I can see why some people have bad experiences. Get your wisdom teeth taken out early if a dentist says it will cause future problems!! You don’t want time to pass and allow your wisdom teeth to grow enough where they’re touching/right next to your nerves, which can cause complications like nerve damage. I put off getting my wisdom teeth removed for 3 years (I’m 22 now) and I was lucky enough that the X-Ray showed my wisdom teeth weren’t dangerously close to my nerves. I’m very grateful the surgery went well😅
Thank you very much. Once we get over the sheer terror, your video reassures us that the process really is so routine, like a wart from your nose. There really is no worry. Take care, everyone like me who’s worried x
I did not go under anesthesia for my surgery. All of my wisdom teeth came in beautifully, but my poor hygiene was allowing numerous cavities to form, so they had to go. Going under is probably the preferred way, but if you don’t go under, don’t stress about it. The numbing agent is extremely powerful, and while I did feel *some* pressure, it was more akin to chewing on a jolly rancher than something painful. The worst part was honestly waiting for my sutures to come out. Just get the procedure done when you can, you’ll be better for it. Good luck to everyone!
shame. I have one in and it's a working tooth. Other one came out at a weird angle. No sutures, no pain, could eat solid food within 24 hours, just an easy top tooth removal.
When they put me under with the IV, my body had an adverse reaction to the drugs and they say that I went into a very unstable, combative state. Waking up a realizing the surgery never even started was a huge bummer, I have to go back now and they can’t use IV so I’m gonna be awake through it all. I think one of the SSRI’s I’m taking interfered with the IV sedation. I just happen to be so unlucky, for sure IV sedation is the way to go.
Had this done last year. I was worried cause it was my first surgery ever, but it was a piece of cake. My bottom left was infected which is what prompted the removal. I was referred to a specialist because the roots of my bottom two were right next to the nerves, and my dentist didn't feel comfortable with that situation (I thanked him for his honesty lol). Also found out my top two were broken which explained years of pain. My surgeon was awesome. The iv was just a little prick in the arm, I barely felt it. A minute or two later they did the anesthesia. I don't even remember closing my eyes. All I remember is one minute we're laughing about me asking if he can teach urgent care to do the iv, next minute they're telling me I can open my eyes. It took a few hours for the numbness to fully go away, I slept most of the day. We were still wearing masks at work so no one noticed the swelling. The pain stopped after a few weeks, bit the pain meds worked great. They also used dissolving stitches so I didn't have to go back. The nurse even called the day after the procedure to see how I was doing. All in all I didn't have to worry at all. My big tip though, ladies remove any and all nail polish. They monitor your oxygen levels with a device on your finger, it won't work right with nail polish (I asked).
I love all of the people sharing their stories. I'm getting all 4 teeth removed in about 11 hours and all of these stories honestly make me feel better about it. I'm most worried about the needle for the IV anesthetic
In 2019, I extracted my right wisdom tooth with only local anesthesia and the doctor simply pulled it out whole, no sectioning necessary. He even showed me the tooth right after the extraction all bloodied! It was awesome!! No pain at all, neither during or in the aftermath. I have the tooth stored even today!
For anybody fearing the inevitability of this procedure, there's nothing to it. The Dentist can administer a serum that makes you go sleepy night night which makes it take no more than 15 seconds. Plus, even after the anesthetics wear off, there's really no pain at all as long as you follow the post-procedural self-care instructions. For starters, taking antibiotics will prevent infections and never forget to rinse your mouth with water infused with 2 teaspoons of salt, that's very important. With your jawbone exposed from the craters the wisdom teeth will leave in their wake, the saltwater swish will prevent it from losing moisture and getting inflamed. The only drag is that you have to avoid solid food for about 2 or 3 weeks to give your gums some time to pass a minimal healing threshold because the wisdom teeth gum sockets will leave big gaping craters reaching all the way down to the jawbone that take 4Ever and a half to close. You don't want food debris getting lodged in those craters because that'll for sure cause infections. Bottom line, despite what cartoons or school bullies or just plain anticipation out of anxiety would have you believe, getting your wisdom teeth out is nothing but Smooth Sailing
How about if they’re sewn up? Mine are the bottom will definitely have to be as they aren’t even in proper place with the teeth, they’re growing out the back part your last molar backs up on
I had all 4 of mine removed under nitrous oxide on Thursday, 2/24/2022, so I was awake for mine. I also had an expose and bond done on my lower left canine done at the same time, so I was in the chair for a total of 2 hours (though it felt like 5 minutes since I was high). The surgery was the easy part, but recovery was hell for me. The local anesthetic wore off a few minutes after I left the surgeon's office. I had to take ibuprofen every 6 hours and keep my head tilted back for a few days to ease the pain in my sinuses, cheeks, and throat. You're lucky you didn't feel any pain after you had yours removed. It certainly didn't help that all 4 of mine were complete bony impactions either. On the plus side, I was able to start eating solid foods by day 4 (probably helps that I was 15 1/2 when they were removed since you heal faster when you're younger), though I still had to be careful to not let any of it go near the stitches or get trapped in the holes.
@RTWLR For anybody fearing the inevitability of this procedure, there's nothing to it. Bottom line, despite what cartoons or school bullies or just plain anticipation out of anxiety would have you believe, getting your wisdom teeth out is nothing but Smooth Sailing...that's really weird. Because when they took out my wisdom tooth it was an absolute nightmare which I will never fully tell you about. So how does that work??
I had my 2 lower wisdom teeth removed. The right side was a piece of cake and was taken out in about 10 minutes. My left side was growing in vertically and was very close to my nerve so that one took about 20-25 minutes. I was under local anesthesia and did not feel anything during the whole procedure. My doctor would tap me from time to time to see how I am feeling and I would give a thumbs up or a thumbs down in terms of how bad the pressure was lol. There was no pain whatsoever during the surgery. After the surgery, I was in some discomfort for a couple hours but did not have any pain at all including no swelling. After about 2 days, I was able to eat normal foods but stayed away from spicy and crunchy foods. For anyone who is scared of doing this, you will be completely fine. Trust your doctor and know that they do these type of surgeries all the time and it is always better to get it removed early and to avoid any sort of complications in the future.
@@ronaldcasuga4217 Yes I was fully awake during the surgery but was unable to feel anything. Just tingling/light pressure when the tooth was removed. You can have the option to get general anesthesia so you don’t feel anything but it’s totally up to you.
I got this video recommended the day after my removal 😁. Upper teeth were easy and quick, the lower teeth took longer. Their removal was uncomfortable (dry tongue, bad taste, …) but not painful. Just one cheek (on a side were stitches had to be made) got a bit thicker afterwards, which is why I think I will have a relatively good recovery. I feel like my dentist made the removal as good as possible. I was surprised that the injection of anesthetic didn’t even hurt. I am glad this is finally done.
This video makes it look so easy and effortless. When I had mine removed it was painful and I felt everything even with the numbing meds. I was happy when it was over 😩
Same here, I felt everything even after the administration of the numbing meds and I told the dentist about it. She added more anesthetic for it so I was okay
I take me for a month to fully heal and the pain gone... i just recently remove my upper widsom teeth total 3 wisdom teeth removed all for good now. Whatever happen i just accept it in future for my teeth
Three weeks ago I've had two of my wisdom teeth taken out with local anesthesia. The visit took about two hours in total and the surgery on the wisdom tooth in my lower jaw took about an hour alone. Even my surgeon mentioned that the procedure was quite difficult as the tooth was almost double the size of other molers near it. Nearing the end of the surgery of the wisdom tooth in my lower jaw I started feeling quite a bit of pain from the drilling and plying and when the surgeon started to sew the wound I was near passing out from the sensation of surgical thread moving through the gums. My guess is that the surgery took so long that the anesthesia started to wear off by the end of it. However, after taking a breather and drinking some water, I decided to go ahead with the other tooth, which went a lot smoother. After the surgery the wound in my lower jaw did not form a proper blood clot, most likely due to the trauma to surounding tissue during the surgery (although a small clot did form, so I was lucky not to experience the dreaded dry socket). Three weeks later I'm using an oral syringe to wash the wound every time after a meal and rinse my mouth with a disinfectant mouthwash two times a day which I will have to follow through for at least two more months. Make no mistake, this is a serious surgery and you have to be prepared to take the post-op healing seriously, which in some cases, such as mine, might take months. However, at the same time, there's also no need to be afraid of it as you will be taken care of, advised and supported by professional dentists and surgeons through this journey. To anyone who is thinking about getting this surgery done - don't be afraid, but be prepared.
R u still in pain. I’m day 3 and the pain is worse than the last two days I cried multiple times last night the vicodin and ibruprofuen aren’t helping but I don’t see a dry socket. I want this to be over
I'm 29 and Had 4 of my wisdom tooth removed yesterday, in all 4 corners, I choose General Anesthesia (the one where they put you to sleep). All i remembered was them asking me to breath in from the mask they gave me, and I was out in 10 seconds, my surgery lasted 2 hours due to the complexity, but it felt like 2 minutes, first you get knocked out the next thing you know you hear them calling your name to wake you up. Post op was simple, rest, mouthwash, meds,. If it bleeds just apply pressure with gauze in your mouth. Food wise I had fruit shakes, grass jelly etc., all the cold food which don't require any chewing. I don't even feel any pain and there wasn't much swelling. 10/10 would pluck again
I had wisdom tooth removal in 2021 and honestly it wasn't bad at all. I was put to sleep through it and since I didn't remember much, I remember waking up on the couch in my living room with gauze in my mouth. But yeah it wasn't bad at all. I was nervous at first because it was my first ever surgery, however I'm now relieved that it wasn't as bad as I initially thought
I see a lot of comments about how "this was easy" or "piece of cake" "nothing to worry about". Man, this was not the case for me. I knew that I had a wisdom tooth problem, but I put up with the pain for as long as I could. I finally went to a dentist (surgeon) & come to find out both my bottom wisdom teeth were impacted, (coming in sideways) & causing horrific pain. The day of the extraction I was given pills & gas, (anesthesia) which did not work at all! I was awake the whole time, I could hear, see & smell, yes smell everything as the dentist cut, chiseled & extracted piece by piece of both teeth. I can't tell you how maddening the sounds of the dremel tool cutting through your teeth, crushing them to pieces & the smell of cutting through bone. I couldn't FEEL anything, but just being awake was a pretty bad experience. Also my stitches didn't hold & came out after 2 days & my mouth bled for a week. No one told me I'd have a MASSIVE whole in the back of my mouth I had to keep clean of debris or it could cause a severer infection. Good thing it was only the bottom ones. Not every surgery goes as smooth as it should. Glad it's over.
I hope that will not be the case of mine, I kept up for almost 2 months now thinking it is just a "decay" pain maybe, pain keeps throbbing(even as of now) the pain is making me crazy. It impacted my life choices to the extent I did not proceed "army" training 1 whole month straight because how can I survive with this pain??
I think it's important to note here that there may have been a misunderstanding. Laughing gas is something they use to calm the nerves, but it doesn't have any effect on your consciousness. You can drive right after your procedure and you never ever go under with it. It is just used for patients to relax.
@@cheeseonastring I did not, the pain went away after two-three months and I've taken a LOT of mefenamics twice a day just so that I don't feel the height of the pain(but still is throbbing and uncomfortable). I don't have money to do surgery is also one of the reason.
@@nyeowsz When you have money to do the surgery, please get it done. Your wisdom teeth will eventually cause much bigger problems in the future, so better to get it removed as soon as possible.
For anyone scared: I couldn't handle the laughing gas - I literally kept throwing it up - so my dentist was like "do you want to reschedule? Try another day when you can handle the gas?" By that point my wisdom teeth had been rubbing up against my gums and other teeth for the past few months and it was hurting me. I told them, "No, we're doing this today!" and just squeezed my chair very tightly during each extraction. After the first and second tooth came out, I felt so much better, like the pain of my gums just vanished - yes, that area would hurt later on when the numbing would go away - but honestly in the moment it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would because I was just so happy to get ALL four of them out of my mouth that day. Wisdom teeth pain is a lot worse than the procedure itself.
Thank you to everyone sharing their good experiences with their extractions. This has helped me think that good things CAN happen in dentist/ortho procedures. It's not all bad!!
I’ve had two different experiences with getting my wisdom teeth pulled. The first time, they pulled two of the teeth, and it was an easy time and went without a hitch. The second time, they were able to pull one of my teeth just fine, but they left a piece of my tooth in one of my gums. Two different dentists. A good dentist makes all the difference
@@kevindogaru4080 a piece of a tooth being left is not malpractice, they generally do that so they don't hit your nerve. It's actually a fine thing to do, the fragment generally does not cause problems but if it does it's likely to emerge and therefore be removed then. It is for your own sake that the fragment is being left.
Hello lovely people! I just got all 4 of mine removed today and let me first assure that it’s not bad if you get General anesthesia administered via IV! I was out literally within 1 Minute once the GA was flowing into my arm! I woke up to what seemed like a 10 minute nap to 45 minutes of sleeping with all 4 out! As I type this, it’s been 6 hours since surgery and I feel slight discomfort and took 2 pills of Advil first before my prescription assigned pain relievers. I will post an update tomorrow! Update day 2: I woke up to feeling just fine with some noticeable, but tolerable pain still by the wound areas. To top all that, my cheeks have swollen some more allowing my cheeks to adopt “chipmunk” cheeks! I’m also pleased to report that I’m no longer bleeding and that all 4 surgical sites have developed a clot to begin the healing! Update day 3: Nothing much has changed. Still taking my prescribed medicine for pain. Day 4 and beyond. I’ve felt no discomfort since the beginning! Two of my dissolving stitches have fallen out which meant that the wound closed! I still have to eat on my special diet though. Post op day 5 thru 10: I am pleased to report that I am not experiencing anything at all! About seven days is all it takes for the pain and slight discomfort to disappear. I’m back to eating my normal habits and activities. not a fuss at all!
@@Jessica-oy8zs trust me. You’ll have a huge sigh of relief when you wake up from anesthesia. Just remember to follow all the instructions and procedures afterwards. It only took me 6 days to fully recover! It’s like it didn’t happen at all!
Got all mine out today. Surgery was done under anesthesia (not local) and I am quite sore which is to be expected. Was prescribed some percocet to manage the pain
@@erectilereptile7383 I think the appointment took total like 90 minutes and like 45 of that was the surgery rest recovery. Under anesthesia for me I didn’t say anything funny and I had “control” over what i said when I woke up I was just too tired to talk much so I didn’t care.
I have 4 wisdom teeth waiting to possibly come out. And i’m pretty sure that no matter how many have to be removed it isn’t going to be that bad. Because earlier before i got my braces, i had 4 regular teeth removed, and 2 of them caused great complications and pain. The dentists worked on one of the teeth for over 2 hours and decided to have it surgically removed and took an extra 30 minutes. But i’m still happy how my teeth are looking so far
I've been to the dentist this morning for the removal of one of mine wisdom tooth. It was horrible, traumatic, and took a long time. I'm jealous of those who had no complications during the surgery🥺
@@raffaelladeluca2230 oh thank you dr🤗 but my doc cald me for stitches opening after 4 days i m somuch worried how can I open mouth..but here in India doctors not co operate with us we need to listen them they forcely open mouth for checking..
I was 16 when my wisdom teeth were coming in. Me and my parents were nervous and we consulted a dentist, who immediately referred us to an oral surgeon to get them removed. Now that I’m older and wiser the reasons they gave were half baked, my wisdom teeth were coming in fine and straight and I had plenty of space for them to fit. I also understand I’m probably in the minority on that front, but it just goes to show you need to find good dentists and health providers who won’t prey on your insecurities to turn in some easy money. Do some of your own research, don’t jump the gun, and listen to what your mouth says about your new teeth.
My sadist dentist yanked all 4 of mine out when I was 15 as apparently they were going to grow crooked & would be free of charge before 16, I couldn't even see them they were barely above gum level. 2 at a time, injections & using my jaw for leverage, remember it well & the bloody swabs after they shove in the hole - some 40 odd years ago 😮
The problem is that even if they grow fine, they're a pain in the ass to clean so are more vulnerable to infect. 1 of mines grow fine, but is a pain to brush that teeth. Everytime I need to check if is clean but brushing isn't enough, I need to put extra effort on it so I'm probably gonna remove it anyways.
Most dentists will wanna remove it cause it makes them a lot of money for a relatively eaay procedure compared to most surgeries, but the likelyhood of it becoming a problem is pretty low, most of the pain will be from it first teething after that if it does become a problem, where it then requires removal, but usually it rarely ever causes any serious dental problems
@@Hhhh22222-w An extraction of a wisdom tooth is very low cost in my country, even compared to a endodontics. Now, if due the terrible healthcare system in the US or even EU, but I can understand that prices can be higher so doctors will try to encourage more their patients to do it...
For those curious, I had my wisdom teeth surgically removed when I was 13 under general anaesthesia. The pain doesn’t really start to become a problem until that night, even then it isn’t extremely painful. To make things easier usually the doctors will use degradable stitches, meaning when the wound has healed the stitches will naturally just fall disappear.
@@Arun_hog I’m sorry what? Did this video literally tell you nothing. I had to get it surgically removed in a hospital since it was deep within my gums (where this video literally shows you). To add onto that I doubt a molar would be all the way back in my gums, and would result in serious swelling that appears exactly the same as when a wisdom tooth gets removed. Not to mention I know countless other people around that age who also got their wisdom teeth removed. Wisdom teeth do exist at 13, they just are not visible
@@Arun_hog As well as that, we also got a professional surgeon come up and do the operation. So what you are saying is that a molar has to be removed in a hospital with me being asleep and a professional has to be called up, along side serious swelling. You’re telling me a that all that happens when a molar needs to be removed? 20000 dollars just for a molar.
I had both my bottom wisdom teeth removed. Dunno about you guys but when my dentist injected that anesthesia into my gums I could feel that. That’s the only part of the whole procedure that hurt, really. I remember my second one was fully mature and he had such a difficult time pulling it out. He had to use so much force to get it out- of course I didn’t feel a thing but man you can see the struggle and feel the amount of strength he’s using to pull one little tooth out. 😂
Both of my wisdom teeth were tilted. Unfortunately, the removal of my left wisdom tooth was carried out by an inexperienced dentist and it is still the most painful experience I have ever experienced till now. I literally felt shocks in the nerves of my forehead. It took around 1 and a half hour to complete the extraction. I was so scared by that pain that I refused to go through the same process again for a year until my right tooth started affecting other teeth. Fortunately, this time an experienced dentist carried it out and it wasn't that painful and only took around 20 minutes. So, find yourself a good and an experienced dentist. Good luck ❤
God, this was so much better than I ever thought it was going to be. Take it from me, even if you’re afraid of needles. Going to sleep via IV is great. They also applied the number EVERYWHERE. Basically: blood pressure is taken, you are lied back and sticky things go on your chest and stomach to observe vitals, the nurse cleans the area for insertion of the IV. They Tell you “we’re going to take some blood from your other arm to help with clotting the blood.” Then they wait for me to fall asleep. Which I would say took around 30 secs- though idk, your sense of time is super screwy when on anesthesia. But I dreamed of a bunch of ruffling cloth on my face and people talking, then all of a sudden I was waking up, not in any pain at all and just barely able to stay awake. Honestly quite relaxing. Went home and slept for a while and still don’t feel that much pain.
My first wisdom tooth removal only took a few minutes. The doctor was so good, it’s fast and I didn’t feel pain at all. But the second wisdom removal so different. I went to another dentist, and it’s more dramatic lol. The surgery took more than two hours because my wisdom tooth was so big and hard to removed. Luckily the anesthesia did the job well enough that makes me feel painless.
Got it removed today. It is a piece of cake. My difference is that they put an IV in for my anesthesia. Once you are a sleep. I feels like it was 5 seconds. A little pain afterwards but mostly good.
I worked as an ad hoc dentist's assistant for a while for my mom (a surgeon dentist with over 20 years of experience) and this was the one surgery I've aided her with, removing all four wisdom teeth from a local farmer. I held the suction tube and handed her the instruments, thought she didnt do general anesthesia (she didnt think it was necessary), only local. It was a very bloody surgery because part of the patient's teeth's roots were extremely crooked, which meant she had to cut the teeth out piecemeal. Guy took over an hour of surgery only with lidocaine and said he felt great 2 days later, I think I was the one most affected from it, mostly because I was the poor bastard tasked with cleanup.
Only if your wisdom teeth are impacted. I had mine removed after they had fully formed (no impaction) and the whole procedure was smooth as can be: no pain, no complications, not even swelling. It really depends on the case...
Worst part was about a day afterwards I was feeling a sharp cutting feeling against the back of my tongue. It constantly hurt whenever I ate and talked. Once a dentist got a chance to look at it they found small amounts of bone shards sticking out of my gums and cutting against the back of my tongue. They had to give me anesthetics to numb my gums and use a tweezers to forcefully pull out the shards. It didn't hurt when they were pulling it out, but a few hours later once the anesthetics wore off my mouth and jaw just felt like it was gonna fall off because of how sore it was.
I had a wisdom tooth removed six years ago. I did not feel too good for a few days. And on top of it, there was an extreme amount of blood, but everything went well. The worst part was the swelling after the surgery. My mom thought that I had developed an infection and contacted the dental department and they said that it was normal for there to be a swelling after the procedure. It was gone after a few days.
I stubbornly kept smoking after an extraction once, gifting myself a dry socket. I had always done so in the past with zero problems and thought this time would be no different. I was WRONG! Lol. I cried. I've had kidney stones that hurt less, holy hell! Had to go back the next day so the dentist could basically dig out the hole again and repack. Needless to say, I listened and did not smoke for at least a good several hours later that night.
To those afraid of this I had 5 teeth removed at once (4 wisdom and 1 which was the reason I innitialy went there) I remember the nerve numbing felt a bit uncomfortable because I could feel something was deep in my jaw but I couldnt feel pain. During extraction due to all the numbing it was weird that you could feel that they had to use so much force that my head moved but I couldnt feel a thing! (This was due to my wisdom teeth being shaped at the root in almoat 90 degree angle so it wasnt easiest to take out) after the extraction the next day there was dull pain (similar to how you have run too much and your muscles ache in pulses) but no general pain at extraction points. I had a slight panic before extraction when local numbing was put on but thankfully the doctor and assistants asked me if I wanted to stop and try another day or wait a bit to calm down. I shed a few tears and said I want to get it done today so they proceeded with my request. Even people who enjoy going to the dentist can have moments like these during previously unknown situations so I hope no one feels bad being scared of the dentist. Also I had stitches but they were made of material that disappear on their own so I didnt need to go back for stitch removal.
I have delayed the removal of my horizontal wisdom tooth since 2022 due to anxiety and fear . This video and comments made it a lot easier on me , planing to do it this month. With local anesthesia

Had all 4 of mine removed when I was 14; freshman in highschool. Cool thing was they were also removed intact so I actually still have them! I remember being put under completely after feeling a cold spray on my arm for the IV insertion and then waking up literally not being able to feel anything under the bridge of my nose 🤣 I also remember saying “I can’t feel my face can I get my lip pierced?” as I was being wheeled out of the office by my sister’s bf at the time who was cackling like a hyena at me being so loopy. Couldn’t talk for 3 days after that, aside from the usual angry squawking of not being really able to open my mouth properly thanks to the dissolvable sutures I had in my gums. 7 days later, with the proper pain medication schedule that I didn’t need to exceed, I was pretty much back to normal and one of my friends wanted to use my wisdoms in a necklace; I miss her.
Just had the surgery 5 hours ago. Got all 4 removed and was put to sleep for it. Woke up about 45 minutes later completely high out of my mind from the anesthesia. My lip and tongue are still numb but no pain yet. Definitely not too bad yet. Had a much worse experience when I had my tonsils removed
Getting a wisdom tooth extraction is not as bad as people hype it up to be, especially if you go with IV sedation. The worst part is actually recovery, depending on pain tolerance.
I had the 4 of em lil fookers removed some months ago, under general anesthesia, my face was swollen, I looked like a squirrel! It was funny! But overall, the pain was very bearable, and the healing process was surprisingly quick, and I didn't even notice when the stitches fell. People who will go through it, it's gonna be a-ok if you follow post op directions to the letter! And even if it is completely healed, don't forget to still go easy on your jaws!
I had all my teeth removed at 23, then my wisdom teeth didn't push through far enough for 5 years, last year those got taken out. It's nice to see how the surgery was done. Had everything taken out due to damage from an ex
I had mine removed at 15. Recovery was hell for me as well and I remember having to chug ibuprofen every 6 hours, keeping my head tilted back, and using ice packs for the pain from 2/24 - 2/28/2022 and even then, there was still some pain in my sinuses, throat, and lower jaw.
I have a question I got all four of mine removed like two weeks ago but my mouth can’t be open fully. It feels like a jaw locked of TMJ. Is this normal?
Just got 3 of my wisdom teeth removed and I must say it’s such a relief to finally have them out after so many months of discomfort. Barely any swelling post op although it’s only been 1 day and the surgery is honestly a piece of cake
My dentist had to cut open my gums, brace my jaw, and crack the teeth apart to remove my wisdom teeth. All four. It took him 5 minutes per tooth and only used local anesthesia. 10/10 definitely recommend!
I was one of the lucky mutants in our society to have been born with no wisdom teeth in my jaws. I only checked on it After my sister had to get several of her wisdom teeth removed through surgery. My dentist was kind of shocked for a second and so was I. Apparently in the USA the frequency for this mutation is around 11% of the population. Circa 2007 as far as I remember.
my wisdom tooth came out around 33-35 yrs, got it out after 2 years after that, but 7-8 years earlier would get pain randomly in gums often, the actual wisdom tooth surgery with local anaesthesia wasnt painful but feeling of complete pressure was there and couple of days, the gum was fully swollen and got better day by day, yes the gum took almost an year to heal fully, may be given my age
I have a big mouth so I'm honestly praying I don't need this. I have EXTREME phobias of both the doctor and ESPECIALLY dentists. it's both inherited from my dad, whos teeth rotted out and refuses to see a docter because he's too afraid, and because I had a bunch of root canals done fully awake at 5.
I (17.5) had all of my wisdom teeth removed last week and the only real uncomfortable thing I hated during the operation, was the burning feeling from the anesthesia pumping into my arm. I hate substances entering my body and my arm still hurts everytime I think about it.
Huh that’s weird. I never had any issues. Just was sore constantly and lived off of oatmeal for a week straight. Thank god I’m autistic tho cause I still love oatmeal.
I can’t believe I’ve waited 3 years to have my semi-erupted wisdom tooth removed. It’s such a shame but I’m really anxious about the thought of the drilling and stitches in my mouth. I had mine removed just last Saturday and so far recovery is going well. I was able to resume at work Wednesday and started to eat soft solid foods too. Tip is to find a good oral surgeon, take your meds on time, elevate your head in the first few nights when sleeping, gargle salt water the day after and rest well for atleast 2-3 days.
It can be uncomfortable during the process, but it's not as terrible as it seems because of the anesthesia. If you start feeling anything, they just use more anesthesia. I got all my 4 wisdom teeth extracted last year in one surgery. The most annoying part was the pulling-out of each tooth, but it was totally worth it for me. Before my surgery I used to have bad infections because my lower wisdom teeth didn't completely erupt and food good stuck all the time.
@@Honesty363 Not much pain. My dentist applied an injection of corticosteroids before the surgery. She says that helps reduce the inflammation symptoms. I also took Ketorolac and Ibuprofen for several days. Without the meds it's annoying, but if you take them it helps a lot. I don't know much about anaesthesia. In my case only local anaesthesia was used.
First of all, thank you to everyone who is commenting that the procedure is painless and fast. I got one of my wisdom teeth removed with local anesthesia and felt no pain (the only part that was bad was the sound it made when he was taking my tooth out, but otherwise it was quick and painless and he was really nice). I now have to go and get my other 2 wisdom teeth out through an oral surgeon and am a little nervous (mostly about not waking up after IV sedation, because I know I'll be too anxious to do it without it this time) but these comments have really eased my anxiety! ♡ if you're about to get your wisdom teeth removed, you got this! Eat a lot of applesauce and take pain killers and stay in bed watching TH-cam :)
Also, pro tip, don't go to work the day after you get your tooth pulled. I work at Starbucks and felt awful and they made me take people's orders. Not this time though lol
Just had one of my 2 impacted horizontal tooth extracted today. I want to be honest with you guys, since I choose to be operated in a public clinic. Damn it 2hrs felt like forever. My case was pretty complicated and I can tell that since my doctor seems really having a hard time and I was too. The fact she had to sway and lever up using those some kind of pliers and chisel intensely, really gave me chills everytime. (The way she hammered those chisel-like, and the way she twist those pliers really hard). I even got kicking pain when she did those few times and had to add anesthesia. Cut short I survived😂. Still thankful to her for her patience even though she lost it sometimes. I suggest also you guys to have your tooth extracted in a private clinic since, sometimes in public, they had to be quick in the operation because they are after the queue in my experience.
I had this done before 4 wisdom teeth all at one sitting under local anesthetic. The healing stages sucked big time LOL. The healing took more than a month.
This surgery was one of the worst pains I’ve ever felt in my entire life. I had 6 wisdoms removed. It was painless and quick, but the aftermath was TERRIBLE

Im not going to lie i have this fear
thanks a lot for sharing your experience, totally needed this.
How is it now?
@@hzxo2943it’s fine. The only problem is that the holes, even though I had sutures, didn’t fully close. So naturally food gets stuck back there but if I rinse out my mouth after eating there’s no problem.
Looking back, everything about the extraction was more than manageable. Sure it was frustrating at times because i couldn’t eat proper food for a week but other than that…easy.
After this procedure, your best frens are mashed potato and cold yogurt (or any other soft foods).
At least for a week 😝

Thats would be a big mistake.... because you dont have to touch the lingual side of the bone with the drill under the gum in this way.... otherwise you can damage the lingual nerve....
Excellent tutorial, thanks! Non only did I take care of mine, but also my sisters, my coworkers, and my dogs. 10/10 👍

How do you know when the bone regenerates?
8 months? Oh god I’m gonna die
I remember when I was a child a dentist extracted my tooth using only that numbing gel. One of the worst pains I have ever felt in my life.

I got teeth extraction yesterday and i think the anesthesia didn't work i could feel the pain 😵😓
These comments are really helping me as I have horrible horrible anxiety. I am 22 I have an extremely small mouth and just finished antibiotics for an infection in my wisdom tooth on the top left that had started poking through the gums. One dentist trip later I have been referred to an oral surgeon to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed (one is growing in completely horizontal and the other 3 diagonally). My consultation is in about 16 days and I couldn't be more terrified. Both of the surgery, the pain and the fact that I am afraid I won't wake up from anesthetic. But to see so many people say it's not as bad helps me. Thank you. Cause I am terrified ;;
I’m having mine done in three months I’m not going for a sedation either. I’m going to be awake. I’m Used to the sounds and smells.
Pain afterwards
I have only 1 question, is it not hard for you keep your mouth open for almost am hour? Because i start feeling dizzy if its open for too long.
@@Nothingness687 not really in my case, i also got two teeth extracted, it took about 45min.
Also, word of advice, when washing the closed wounds don't put the water spay in the wounds or you'll get an infection, my mom, and Markiplier funnily enough, learned that the hard way.
im 25, never had wisdom tooth
I had mine removed when I was still in school. I had it done at Children’s Hospital, in the OR.
@@annabartek Oh my God, this just made it worse. I can't 😭

A few decades later:
Doctor: So how do we replace your faulty tooth?
Patient: Can we put in the spare one😂😂😂

You really didn't have to avoid solid food for more than a day. Sounds like it went well for you, so great.

Bro it must be molar tooth 😂😂
Becoz wisdom tooth doesn't exist at age 13. unless you have your age manipulated so as to get younger😂😂

😨😱
I had the same experience 😂😂❤
Good luck ❤
Holy fuck dude
Thanks for explaining the procedure, really helped while performing the surgery.
After how long the pain kicked in?
Same
From what country are you maam/sir? I just want to ask how much it would cost for the operation like that?😢
I worked as an ad hoc dentist's assistant for a while for my mom (a surgeon dentist with over 20 years of experience) and this was the one surgery I've aided her with, removing all four wisdom teeth from a local farmer.
I had a sectioning done today on a wisdom tooth. The dentist numbed me good but I definitely felt it. It felt like medieval torture.
Thanks. I told someone I'm a dentist and this helped me out a lot in the operation.
Thanks now I’m able to perform my next patient’s surgery 👍
Operation isn't painful at all, but recovery is painful af. I couldn't eat majority of food. Every swallow hurts. You are hungry and helpless...
Well okay dang😭🤣
word! its me right now.. 3rd day still some pain, can't eat properly..
It didn't hurt when they were pulling it out, but a few hours later once the anesthetics wore off my mouth and jaw just felt like it was gonna fall off because of how sore it was.
i would just kms
Imagine being person 3 thousand years ago when procedures like this has been invented yet. It's a lucky time to exist.
Hi did you experience a change in your face shape after the extraction?
@@dev_esh01 no. Just a swelling and that’s all
I stubbornly kept smoking after an extraction once, gifting myself a dry socket.
Yeh and cancer
Damn dude ima remember u im 13,
I have delayed the removal of my horizontal wisdom tooth since 2022 due to anxiety and fear . This video and comments made it a lot easier on me , planing to do it this month. With local anesthesia

pov: you fell asleep first at the sleepover
Had all 4 of mine removed when I was 14; freshman in highschool. Cool thing was they were also removed intact so I actually still have them!
I remember being put under completely after feeling a cold spray on my arm for the IV insertion and then waking up literally not being able to feel anything under the bridge of my nose 🤣
I also remember saying “I can’t feel my face can I get my lip pierced?” as I was being wheeled out of the office by my sister’s bf at the time who was cackling like a hyena at me being so loopy.
Thank you for very useful tutorial! I removed all my 12 wisdom teeth and very happy.

@@sambros2 but I am very wise.
It was one of the worst experiences I had 😢 I did 2 of these in my lower jaw for the both wisdom teeth
Thank you dentist 🦷 for helping people 😌
The bois did this to me once during a sleepover. Luckily I was asleep and did not feel anything. It was one of the moments of all time.

Thank god my jaw was large enough for all my wisdom teeth to come in properly without causing any issues. I still have all of them.
I got mine at that age as well and I was asleep while they performed it. Smooth sailing afterwards no pain just soarness
I had one removed during general anesthesia. Turned out to be big surgery, but healed completely really quickly ;)
Was gonna go to the dentist but this was detailed enough that I think I can handle it.
Thanks!
My dentist had to cut open my gums, brace my jaw, and crack the teeth apart to remove my wisdom teeth. All four. It took him 5 minutes per tooth and only used local anesthesia. 10/10 definitely recommend!
I had it last week. Nothing to worry about. You’ll be fine.
My mom only needed one remove, my brother and my dad didn’t need any removed, I’d call them lucky, as for me, I still have no clue about them.
@juliab3326really ? How did they find them if you didn’t know you had them
my wisdom tooth came out around 33-35 yrs, got it out after 2 years after that, but 7-8 years earlier would get pain randomly in gums often, the actual wisdom tooth surgery with local anaesthesia wasnt painful but feeling of complete pressure was there and couple of days, the gum was fully swollen and got better day by day, yes the gum took almost an year to heal fully, may be given my age
Did your facial features changed ? I mean are your facial features different now than they were before surgery?
Took me ten days to get over the horrible pain, it affected my entire jaw and caused headaches. But I got mine taken out for braces
Thanks you just saved me four years
I have a big mouth so I'm honestly praying I don't need this.
BRO IT HURTS SO BAD WHEN MY MOUTH IS NOT NUMB ANYMORE I CANT EAT ANYTHING AND IT HURTS WHEN I SWALLOW SOMETHING
Somehow i even felt pain while watching it, can't even imagine doing it irl.
I just had it done. By sedation. It’s really not bad at all and I’m not in much paid. Desolvable stitches and I’m good.
Before my surgery I used to have bad infections because my lower wisdom teeth didn't completely erupt and food good stuck all the time.
you don't have to do it, the surgeon has to do it ;] not a problem with local anaesthesia whatsoever.
@@thomazhx was there unbearable pain after surgery? tell me ur post op experience.....
does general anaesthesia cause any harm?
@@Honesty363 Not much pain. My dentist applied an injection of corticosteroids before the surgery. She says that helps reduce the inflammation symptoms. I also took Ketorolac and Ibuprofen for several days. Without the meds it's annoying, but if you take them it helps a lot.
I don't know much about anaesthesia. In my case only local anaesthesia was used.
Why is the top comment of EVERY SINGLE wisdom tooth extraction animation “imagine if ur dentist watches this”😭😭
First of all, thank you to everyone who is commenting that the procedure is painless and fast.
