Not a rare earth magnet yet😅 Yeah I find the 6061 alloy at 5mm or thicker is more than strong enough for most mod parts and its easy to work with if all you have is hand tools👌
I did not do a video but I am very primitive when it comes to diy parts😅 The front, all I did was place a piece of paper from the original centre top mounting positions(above the centre diff) and the front diff housing and marked the mounting points. Then I drew a basic shape around the holes and cut it out. Transfer that template to some 3-5mm alloy, drill holes and jigsaw the shape. The rear is just a long and tough tie bar from a 1/5 car and again just mounted to one of the existing centre top holes above the centre diff and then to the rear diff housing. You will just need to replace the stock screws with extra long scews so they thread in enough.
Man I highly recommend getting a HPI, they have some serious bashers! Corallys aren't too bad but in my opinion HPI is so much more dialled in and stronger out of the box👌 perfect🤘
Yeah I think we've mentioned it before, it's just hard for me having to work around my disabilities but I am noticing it getting better😃 Soon hopefully👍
These are Louise T-Pirate pre-glued wheel. They are slightly smaller than 150mm though, 140mm www.metrohobbies.com.au/products/louise-t-pirate-truggy-1-8-soft-o-offset?currency=AUD&variant=12969963192373&Google%20Shopping&gclid=CjwKCAiA6Y2QBhAtEiwAGHybPRsJzLeTpe76OowhvPlmu91B-t6le4im5sl_WxZXQTcC5Ydb72uPFhoC5X0QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
I think people just gave up on HPI, I think traxxas and other brands expanded quicker and kind of over shadowed some top brands☹ I will always be a massive HPI and Hitec fan, old school but quality💪
Iv not broken a Hardened one yet, about 12 months. The front diff is still stock and only just starting to make a slightly bad noice after maybe 2 years
One of my favourite cars to watch. The handling and the way it looks. 👌🏼👌🏼👍🏼🚗. I do like the front mod. That looks super strong 💪🏼
Yeah man they are awesome, all the old HPI rigs🤘
And yes I love making my DIY parts😁
Thanks mate👍
A straight up🎯🤤Damn good bash session Saul and the kids 4:30 jump was Brilliant 🎯💯💥💥🎉 thanks for sharing Saul😎
Thank you😅👍
Yeah I really enjoy bring this HPI out but it makes it even better seeing the young ones having fun👌😊
Awesome session! I love your custom made parts, always high quality! And YES to the rock crawler! 😁🤘
How did I know you would be the first to say YES A CRAWLER!😅
Yeah I love making custom parts👌
Thanks man🤘
Great bash session. That front end mod looks super strong. That baby tree will have to grow up more to be fully magnetic. LOL
Not a rare earth magnet yet😅

I love how you get the kids so pumped up! You're awesome bro!
To be honest I think they pump me up more than I do them😅
But yes I love how enthusiastic they are👌
Thanks mate🙏
You definitely should get a crawler. Although the HPI truggy was doing a pretty good job too 😄
nice work bro 👍🏻
Yeah I was surprised the Flux got up the hill so fast😆
Will order a crawler soon I think.
Thanks mate🤘👊
Good bit of fun with a classic RC right there 🤩
Yeah man this think is definitely one of my best RCs.
Old HPI rigs will always be legendary in my opinion🤘
Those mods are what I need for my hpi truggy as well. I put the vorza 6s system in it and it’s insane power lol
Yes some mods and upgrades definitely help when running 6s.
Thanks for watching👍
Hi could you or do you have a video of how you put the metal strengthing plate on and also what and how you did the rear strengthing.
I did not do a video but I am very primitive when it comes to diy parts😅

Thats a cool truggy man, and it rips pretty good!!
I love everything about this rig😅
Yeah its a machine, I don't think I'd hesitate to buy almost any true HPI rigs👌
@@rccrazy ya, it s very nice bro
Awesome I really like the HPI thinking about one of them or a team corally 👌👍
Man I highly recommend getting a HPI, they have some serious bashers!
Corallys aren't too bad but in my opinion HPI is so much more dialled in and stronger out of the box👌 perfect🤘
Awesome video bud 👍
Thanks mate👍
If your ever interested bro! We should get a big Bash Session going!!! I’ve got acouple of launch ramps
Yeah I think we've mentioned it before, it's just hard for me having to work around my disabilities but I am noticing it getting better😃
Soon hopefully👍
@@rccrazy I know what you saying bro! I’m in the same boat with disabilities/Mental illness I suffer from bro! All good 👍 buddy
Rc driving them fixing them making TH-cam content really helps me a lot keep it up mate your not alone 👍
How do u compare this to the Dementor
As I said in another comment, I much prefer HPI for many reasons.
HPI is just a lot better setup out of the box and much stronger.
What rim and tyres are they please struggling to find 150mm truggy wheels 🤔
These are Louise T-Pirate pre-glued wheel.
They are slightly smaller than 150mm though, 140mm

Perfect, thank you
Keep up the good work 👏
All good👍
Thank you!🙂
Lucky! HPi is still a kickass brand. Hate Traxxas for taking them down. Boycott Traxxas
I think people just gave up on HPI, I think traxxas and other brands expanded quicker and kind of over shadowed some top brands☹
I will always be a massive HPI and Hitec fan, old school but quality💪
How long does the new HB hard steel differential gears last using 6s m8
Are they worth getting or keep it to 4s
Iv not broken a Hardened one yet, about 12 months.
The front diff is still stock and only just starting to make a slightly bad noice after maybe 2 years
Can I fit a 21pinion on this
I'm pretty sure you can, im running 18t I think and there is still room for bigger
Thanks
