This sounds so awesome! .....sigh*, why does American metal suck so much now days....well, American music in general is now sh!t (all sounds the same)....didn't used to be....but it is now.
I agree that this is great, but I'd say there is a plenty of „American“ bands that do not suck. None of them are quite the „Neue Deutsche Härte“, of course, but if you do not enjoy the mainstream and are looking for interesting "metal" artists, you might be interested in some bands from the FiXT label, which has plenty of awesome artists. Some stuff to begin with might be Blue Stahli - Corner, Soul Extract - Samsara, Circle Of Dust - Embracing Entropy, Celldweller - Wish Upon A Blackstar (the whole album is a very interesting journey), ... There are lots of interesting artists out there.
@@TheTimelyTurtle I listened to your list.....I liked most of it, however, it wasn't really metal (but I still liked it). Except Cellsweller; they sounded a bit too much like pop music.....almost like a boy band trying to do rock. Thank you for the recommendations!
@@wreckagec4801 I am glad that you tried them out! Well, Celldweller is a very diverse beast, he has everything from straight out pop to some distorted metal sound. You might want to try One Good Reason and Switchback by him - that is a lot more metal I'd say. :) Also, if you are straight into metal, Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin are some good American metal bands. But I assume you might already know them and consider them quite too mainstream, which is why I have recommended the guys from FiXT first. If you do not know those guys, though, then you might want to try Never Enough by FFDP (Whole Way Of The Fist is solid), Stricken by Disturbed and Firefly by Breaking Benjamin. Just to name a few things that you might find interesting - of course no pressure, just hoping you might find something that you'd like.
