I feel like the demo version suits this song better, the final version is a bit too soft. Although it needs to be adapted to an idol style, it doesn't quite match the essence of this song.

No way... their choreo specially in chorus is much more better than the demo here. It's elegant and you can really see IVE Signature
The energy definitely dipped in the final version.
right? i don’t see how this is supposed to fit their concept because nothing about this song is elegant. kitsch was more cutesy than this and still had a better choreography. poor excuses. the moves are mid and so are the formations. i don’t need to see delicate moves to this type of song. the choreographers suck.

ive's choreographer made the dance look so weak... it's not even a vocal heavy song like i am, so i wish they'd kept more of the original choreo. itzy and nmixx could sing stable even while dancing to their choreo.
love the la chica choreo and as much as i love ive they dont have the dancing capabilities for that. especially not wonyoung and leeseo
well duh. because lachica is a professional dance team, way different to idol dance

@@melodicteacup yes, some groups. They also tweaked the dance to better match their concept. Their concept isn’t girl crush, it’s a mix of teen crush and elegance , plus they have to sing live while dancing.

@@sakilYe does not mean their capabilities are on par with those who can execute this choreo accurately and cleanly. again no hate to ive but their dance is one of their poorest group qualities and seeing them do this choreo would be awkward because of their lack of ability- im just stating my opinion
The demo is so much better. I will never understand why kpop idols especially ggs are so afraid of actually dancing instead of just moving around and doing the same formations
not all kpop artist focuses on dance its the music that should be top priority look at kggs these days occupying the top charts, it's really not that deep nor important plus the other choreography added came from another choreography team mind you

Demo choreo giving more baddie vibe than the final one, but final is better for live singing. But personally i like final one better.

I love ive and many times they proved they can indeed dance, but here it's pretty bad considering it's a upbeat song and the original is in a whole another level of badass, I hope IVE sticks to elegant concepts like Eleven and Love Dive which also had good choreography and a nice energy coming from them
Tell me how I just knew that the choreo for the first few lines of the chorus had to be added in by someone else other than the original choreographer. The choreo for the chorus, aside from the parts they took from La Chica, looks so goofy and doesn't fit the song at all.

@@tonystonem9614 they do sing live thanks! most of their single album promos were live, the whole of i am and kitsch promos were live and kitsch is very energetic. almost all of baddie, off the record and either way promos were also live. their concerts are always full live. “they don’t have good singers or dancers” yk damn well that isn’t true. they’re all good vocalists, Liz has amazing vocals, and their dancing is good asw idk what you mean

To everyone comparing them to how they should have stuck to the demo version, did you account for how much control they need to dance this WHILE singing? Breath control, energy in the right moves, soft moves and the more rigid ones. While the ongoing debate about live vocals versus lip-syncing is still going on, when idols do perform live (while also singing over the libs anyway), do you not account for that? When you sing live, you have to have a decent amount of breathe control. Add a dance? Even more need to be great in that. Hard dance? It needs to be a maxed out skill when you do it live. Granted, most shows are pre-recorded, and not live anymore, but when you hear vocals on top of background vocals, you know they were singing when the camera was recording. So the version that Starship Entertainment chose for IVE is actually the perfect once to sing with while dancing.

How often do kpop idols really sing live though? And no I'm not talking about those fake prerecorded vocals.
@@user-pl8ix1mk7t it depends on the group actually, each group has different rates of live singing. in context of the original comment, ive actually has a really high live singing rate, over 90%
understandable if they were on stage sure, but their not singing at all in the video😭😭 can’t they give their 100% in dancing in the dance practice?
@@lia6730 it literally is… if they dance even more powerfully in dance practice and dance like they do normally on stages, ppl would come for them more 😭😭 also the choreographer might’ve altered it slightly to be less powerful, more “elegant” and flowy
Revisiting this and 2:00 when Yunjin goes to the floor looks objectively terrible. What’s the purpose of going to the floor on 2:00 to weakly lay down and then get back up like 2 counts later? THIS CHOREO MAKES NO SENSE and I’m still mad.
I have a theory that they don’t have a choreographer or dance teacher at all and that it’s the girls (prob Yunjin or Gaeul?) themselves filling in the spots where they aren’t using Lachica choreography.
If ITZY got this song instead they could have pulled it off. But the rap part suits Rei best than ITZY's rappers.

@cece7584the final version was adapted so the girls can sing while dancing to it +adapting to their concept. we obviously can’t compare the two because lachica is a professional dance team, ive is a kpop idol group
@cece7584 funny because IVE is actually one of the groups in 4th gen with the most live singing percentage. Their whole I AM promotion was live, more than 95% of I’VE MINE promotions were live. Most of eleven, love dive promotions were live.. people just don’t wanna accept this fact.
@cece7584 we can clearly hear their live vocals through the backing track in the stages I’ve mentioned. I’ve watched literally every ive stage popping up and I can tell when a stage is live or lip sync lol, idc if I’m not enough to be “credible source” but I’m just stating facts :D most people like to ignore how IVE is one of the groups with the highest rates of live singing in 4th gen
