Your may have a permission limitation; or your login token has expired. Try re-logging in to SFMC to ensure it’s not your token; and ensure you have the correct admin permissions assigned. Check your Email>Integrations>SalesforceCRM. If you keep getting the error; best raise a ticket so SF support can take a closer look.
Hi everyone, when you are on salescloud and opens Marketing Cloud app in the wizard before verifying the remote site you must see a blue highlighted text "Show advance settings" click on that and toggle on the O-auth specific option, it will work
hi Cameron. thanks for the video. Can the API user in Sales Cloud be on a SF Integration licence or does it need to consume a Full Sales CLoud licence?
Salesforce may have changed some of the configuration windows since I recorded this video; however if you proceed through the windows you should arrive at the same place I did just a few seconds later in the video.
Hi Cameron, thanks for this ! I have a question about the permission set "Marketing Cloud Connected App" which is not given any system permission, and thus seems useless to me ?
Answering myself : CRM API user and MC API user cannot be integrated if CRM API user and the Managed App are not in the same Permission Set. Odd, but true ;)
Hi Johnny, Courtesy Licences are reserved for Salesforce Admin Assist. Given these users can be assigned a System Administrator Profile, it appears to be theoretically possible - however MCC integrations are typically completed by an end-user or an implementation partner. Thanks Cameron, I have followed all the steps to setup the mc connect but the recipients are not receiving the emails from salesforce crm marketing cloud connect but I am getting email sent successfully notifications on From email address and also showing in reports delivered successfully but recipients are not getting any email from MC connect.
Assuming you are attempting the Marketing Cloud Connect "Test the Connection" step. You'll need to make sure you've followed all the steps, ensuring the dynamic From Email address is a verified sending email, and the subscriber you are sending to have a valid email (not unsubscribed, suppressed or blocked by List Detective). If the problem isn't resolved, you can also raise a support ticket. I'll try cover this step of the connector in a future video.
@@CameronRobert Thanks for your reply, Does the "From address management" email address should be the email address which i used as API user or it could be any gmail, yahoo verified email address will work for "From" email address?

@@CameronRobert Hi. First of all thanks for the video and your content. I have the same issue as my friend here. I received an email notify me that my send failed, saying me "Error queuing send." I have been verified the email (is not with a sub domain yet). I am using the API user as my from sender. Any idea? :( Thanks in advanced.
Hi Lan Mc, check that you have the correct Marketing Cloud edition, and that you have Administrator permissions in Marketing Cloud. More documentation here: help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.mc_co_connect_the_clouds.htm&type=5
Great video Cameron ! Can we know 1. How to test the integration is completed and where we can check data flowing ? 2. Also, Can we connect multiple service cloud accounts to MC ? Thanks in advance !!
Thanks Cameron, the video is great to learn for me because it usually already set up by some one else in my org
Great video Camron
This is great, do you have one showing how the Lead, Contact, Reports and Campaign/Member object data should be set up (and used) in SFMC?
When I click on connect to marketing cloud 11:52 , I get an error saying "Attempt to de-reference a null object"

How was this fixed?
