One of the most entertaining players of the 2010s, a Man-of-Steel winner for Castleford while also featuring for England at a World Cup - how do you rate Chase's time in the Super League?
The Maradonna of Super League - no one can compete the breadth of skills he had: his speed, vision, side-step, dummy, passing, fends - this guy had it all, and was a joy to watch.
Boxoffice, Nobody comes close to the natural ability rangi chase had, like the Ronaldinho of rugby league. How can one man have that many moments of magic? Was an honour to witness him at Cas in his pomp.
Honestly growing up in NZ there were a zillion of these guys around. The best I saw never made it to the big time, be it discipline issues or distracted by the drink and chicks. The benji Marshalls, Shaun Johnson’s, type players who eventually came up, usually came from a touch background
Rangi Chase is a FAILED NRL player only good enough to WOW the substandard Super League, coming the other way we had Sam Tomkins come to the NRL to shatter all the records and oh,he sucks too Super League housed an over the hill forward who kept being successful because he was now part of a lower echelon in Steve Menzies,4 years after he would have had to retire from NRL

Mara do a for more than one reason.. he knew exactly how to get to the white line…
Most creative player of all time couldn’t make the kiwis team

Same rangi that turns up to the gym in Birkenstocks and cracks out four sets of chins then leaves..
Rangi chase and benji Marshall two most talented players in rugby league throughout the 00s era 🔥 legends!

Genius this fella!
Hear,hear....that skill again against Hull I think.
When he wraps the ball around his torso and the no look flick pass....

most skillful player in Rugby League History?? massive call mate

Without doubt one of the most talented players ever. Shame his off field flaws blighted his impact.
A Super League verison of Benji Marshall, pure entertainment

zzzzzz
He basically is what what Benji Marshall could have been if he played super league. The attacking nature of SL would be a delight for Marshall.
