  • Brian Weissman during a Pre-Realease 2-Headed giant games at Seattle Barnes & Noble.
    Brian is playing "The Deck" but the opponent {Jonathan} was using an ATOG, aggro build I made the previous night. Jon at one point got Brian to 5 life and had a way to Psionic Blast him...what do you all think, would the tides have turned for a victory?

    I agree with Balance Sol Ring or Ancestral as best card ever. Never play a Winter Orb until it opponent has 2 lands tapped. Always play balance when you can. Always expect the worst in Oldschool because they usually have the card you hope they don't.

    comes off cringy whenever you ask, "have you ever touched this card? Here touch mine." Just like in other videos, "Oh you know I own the original art work of this."

      Not gonna lie its pretty cringe. "HAVE YOU EVER CASTED BLACK LOTUS!?!?!?! (in your face while asking)

    Once Brian had multiple Blue lands out there was no point in holding back lands to keep the Fellwar off; should have played the lands sooner.

    Thanks for sharing, always fun watching Brian play. Does Vintage Magic offer two different types of card sleeves?

    • @vintagemagic
      @vintagemagic  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The sleeves are Legion, so one company. Don't need perfect fits just over sleeves is fine. Better for the cards.

      @@vintagemagic looked like Brian's sleeves were matte on the outside and white on internal and the other guy had sleeves with a glossy finish? I don't double sleep anyway, I can't stand how it makes the entire deck stack up

    contract from below is the best mtg card of all if it didn't have that ante requirement, ancestral recall and timetwister wouldn't be in the power 9. if anyone doesn't know what the card does, and thinks im trolling, look it up. it absolutely shits on ancestral, twister, and wheel of fortune

    Are there a lot of '93/'94 events in Seattle?

    • @vintagemagic
      @vintagemagic  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      no really, this was casual. Brian and I were at a pre release and played in between a match...there is one on Oct. 20th coming up for old school. I would say like 5 to 7 a year?
