Bo, Fantastic video and commentary! Oh, and I am a US Marine veteran. Your language is fine! My group of veteran players swear plenty at the game table, drinking coffee and smoking cigars together. As for game rules and mechanics, well, in Bolt Action it is annoying that historically powerful and effective units are often considerably weakened--either from mechanical effect or mind-boggling point cost; or historically weak units are somehow uber buffed, mechanically and/or through point cost. In the Marine Corps, I served as a SAW gunner. Machine guns are in reality absolutely devastating and lethal. Sustained machine gun fire also has an enormous and paralyzing effect on troop's morale. The Bolt Action mechanics and point cost effectiveness for machine guns is a glaring and mind-boggling sin. *Laughing* I really hope that Bolt Action 3ed fixes these rules hard. Semper Fidelis, SHARK
Great video as always - a bit surprised that the Bren Carrier didn't make an appearance, as it was so heavily used for Soviets and Brits, and commonly used to deliver the engineers (and sometimes small units of Gurkhas, though I'm not sure that is the best way to run Gurkhas) that placed so high on the list. From what it seemed to me they were present at pretty much every major tournament, and it was not uncommon to see them placing high in the final standings. But that's probably due more to the unit they were transporting than them (though at the same time, the unit they were transporting arrived alive because it was a pretty cheap armored carrier that could put pins down range in advance of the unit hopping out. Keep up the great work, and looking forward to seeing what V3 holds!
Heh yes. The complexity and nuances are too easily confinable to a list, and i think thats why people like them. Yes they can give a decent indication, they are no 1 size fits all. I do agree on ur lists overall! Also, thereve been a few peeks into what the 3rd edition will bring. 6 shots for mmg and hmg for example. Im guessing that youll create a ton of videos after the release. The preorder is also live, if anyone is wondering
As an Italian army player, I am not surprised to not see a single Italian unit there - besides of a brief mention of the Dakka Carro Armato... and on top of that, I do suck at the game too. What an unfavorable combination! Mama mia...porco dio!
It was pretty distracting hearing you say "god damn" at every opportunity. You seem like a great guy, and there are classier ways of being emphatic. All this does is to risk alienating those who find it offensive (unnecessarily offensive).
@@boltactiontutorialsbybomor3846 So far like one "Damn" and one GD in the first 14 mins....If that is a lot, the Aussies and anyone likely in North America must only speak fluent curse, everyone I have ever talked to up here in Canada land swear 10 times more in five minutes than this entire vid. So, count one as not offended, so far it cancels out lol
I think Medium mortar deserves a mention for being in every list ever.
ABSOLUTELY! they were soo usefull, juts nit as deadly as the others here... maybe nr 11?
Only if they have a spotter!@@boltactiontutorialsbybomor3846

If you can, take inexp. Heavy mortars. These are devastating!

Hungarian Para Assault is a very powerful unit. Grewt list!
Howling cow 🐮 not the one I'd take as being two man it is very vulnerable to snipers and a mortar hit. Prefer Nebelwerfer for a few more points.
I think motorcycles are great and all my opponents should pick these instead of a Marmon Herrington or any armoured car!!!!!
