Window spotting! Cutting down on aluminum and glass by reusing and recycling as much as possible

Producing glass in the making of windows is emitting A LOT of CO₂. Normally, the framing is massive aluminum, but in this episode, we are looking away from traditional so-called curtain walls.

Right now the 78 m, 20-storey wooden office building is coming together, and will be one of the highest in the world in this category of construction and incorporates a highly advanced approach to the reuse and recycling of materials.
This exemplary project, made by Lendager architects and Artelia, and developed by Kilden & Hindby for PFA Ejendomme, has raised the interest of the municipality of Aarhus and received financial support from the Klimafonden foundation.

Hej Jonas! Anders Lendager er uddannet arkitekt (og startede en arkitektvirksomhed op, hvis hovedfokus var at bygge mere bæredygtigt), mens Anders Morgenthaler blandt andet er klimaentusiast/aktivist og med mange år bag/foran et kamera. Så da de mødte hinanden begyndte idéerne bare at spire til hvilket projekt de kunne lave sammen.
Så det er ikke så meget en verden man kommer ind i, som en verden man skaber ud fra en idé :-)
