- I bought a DIY KIT Ukulele for only 10$. I am trying to find out if it is worth it. Is it playable?
This DIY Ukulele I found on eBay. It seems to be aimed for children, this even includes a set of paints. Anyway, it was fun, I am gonna make a ukulele from scratch next time.

Nice!! Happy to see that Tru Oil works well over acrylic paint, too. I built a kit electric guitar and some cigar box guitars and Tru Oil worked awesome with my homemade stains (wall paint pigments from the hardware store + water) and was thinking to buy one of these ebay kits (a slightly more expensive one with wooden fretboard and bridge), stain the wood then paint a few things on it with acrylic. Anyway, it turned out great, hope you are enjoying it!

thank you bro! Don't worry English is not my first language either. You can definattely try this super cheap kit. But it is not easy to play. And the plastic fretboard sucks. But for 10$ it is ok and playable.
This gye obviously knew we were going into a pandemic so he got his mask and I got this kit for Christmas
