    Have you ever considered working for ATS? What stopped you from making the move?

      What stopped me was the orientation guy referring to the Lytex camera system and safety scorecard as their "micro management system!"
      Even today, I see ATS drivers instinctively, and often without checking their mirrors, swerving into the left lane everytime someone passes them and pulls in in front of them in an attempt to not get scorecard points against them. I have witnessed this cause other vehicles to slam on their brakes and swerve into the median to avoid rear ending your driver. YOUR LYTEX SCORCARD SYSYTEM CAUSES WRECKS AND TRAFFIC PROBLEMS!!

    You use those particular cameras to coach? No you use driver facing to nanny your drivers all day. I will never work for a company with driver facing cameras. I don’t need to be spied on.

      I understand your concerns, and it's important to feel respected and trusted at your workplace. At ATS, we utilize front-facing cameras to ensure a safe and secure environment for our drivers and the communities they serve. And if safety is cool, consider me Miles Davis. O'Doyle Rules!

    Are your tractors automatic or manual? Can you choose the type of tractor you want?

    • @OverTheRoadATS
      @OverTheRoadATS  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Automatic and you get a choice out of our available tractors. Freightliner, Volvo, and Peterbilt. Here's a link to our equipment: www.drive4ats.com/equipment

    How good are you with home time? Have health issue so need to make monthly doctor appointments. Could make a doctors appointment near a ats terminal if that makes it easier to make that appointment time

      We are very good with home time as long as we have enough advanced notice to be able to route you.

    Can you book your own loads as a van owner operator

    • @OverTheRoadATS
      @OverTheRoadATS  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey! Thanks for the question! You will be hauling direct ATS freight through an internal Load board. Basically, you work with your driver manager and they will send you load offers for loads in your area.

    Do you guys hire 21 year olds ? Also I’m local right now with no over the road experience will you still hire me ?

    • @OverTheRoadATS
      @OverTheRoadATS  ปีที่แล้ว

      ATS requires at least 6 months of over the road experience. 21 is the minimum age to travel interstate, so your age is fine!

      On your one year lease do you have an option to purchase after completion? And if so what is the average cost?

    • @OverTheRoadATS
      @OverTheRoadATS  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@williamstevens8997 It really depends on each driver's individual situation, specifically, the truck they choose in the beginning. Each truck will have a different cost to own at the end. Either way, drivers receive a $4,000 completion bonus that they can put towards the down payment after their lease is up.
