powered up loops: For ease of use I recommend skipping the 5S, 2S, SD ... part and replace it with 5H, SD, ... this forces you into using assists for s sdk, however it also causes every hit to be 100% auto timed except the 5L(1) that's catching them after the 236l(h). This version also does not require an IAD after the SD.
For the power up combo you can do: 5L, 5M2M, 5S2S, SD, IAD, jH, 236L(Hold), 5L(1 Hit), jcLMH, 236L(Hold), 5L(1 Hit), jcM2H, SD, jLL/ML, jMH; This does 188 more dmg
Why do you have different loops for powered-up? They work at level 0. Also for the powered up loops, you do way more damage without the first standing light
I can do the first loop on any body larger than Vegeta or Goku, but not any Vegeta/Goku/smaller. The 5L after the first jH > j236[L] always whiffs. What do I do?
its likely a timing issue, you might be doing it too soon not delaying enough or delaying just a tiny bit too much. Im going to put my money on you may not be delaying enough because you can get away with less of a delay on taller characters but smaller characters are more strict as far as the timing.

First idk if you are or not but be sure to hold the 236L till you land on the floor. If you mash then your L will whiff and they'll tech and if you're too late they'll recover before you actually press it. The delay is only a tiny pause. It's not a massive delay like a few milliseconds or so. It's important that you dont ever mash, the second you mess up stop the combo instantly and try again. The timing is key and once you hit it once you'll feel the timing and know what to look for
3H is when you do a heavy attack while pressing down forward. Check out the description for all notation translations if ya need a little example. the numbers refer to a directional input while the letters refer to the type of action, such as H being Heavy, L, being light, M being medium, and S being special. So if we have a notation that reads 2M, JM, JL, JL, JCL, then that means down medium, jumping medium, jumping light, jumping light, then jump cancel (by double jumping) into another light attack. you might even see 236 or 214, and the means you're pressing down, downforward, forward (typically done by rolling the joystick) followed by a button. So 236S for gohan is his masanko attack while 214 L,M or H is his DP uppercut move.
My adult Gohan is pretty decent and this just makes it a whole lot better and easier for me to understand so thanks🙏🏽

Heard of this trick where if you're powered up and start the combo with 5H, it's insanely easy to time your inputs.
That would be unscaled too and would do even more damage cause you're powered up good idea

Nowadays the 1-7 combo loop can actually be made at 0
This Gohan is just so viable, plus his ability to get to the ground quickly is his best asset

I had the same problem you have to hold down the leg kick thing until it fully finishes if you don't it'll wiff

try adjusting the timing of the JH and the machine gun kick. Those could be the issue if you're not landing the firs 5L in the combo.

Why do the levelled up leg loops do less damage than level 0 bruh
because it's a 5L starter if you want more damage just do a 5m starter bru
