Hi Dutorchi any more information about the strings?
I play guitar and arabic oud and am planning to buy an uyghur dutar (which is the most available type of dutars in China). In my experience they use very thin silk strings and the tuning is in C or D, and, in my opinion, the sound is never as rich & appealing as the uzbek dutar. As the uyghur dutar is larger than the uzbeki I guess it requires heavier strings tuned in a lower pitch.
